Yep! The only trip I made so far I didn't need to add any Fuel and I usually do 2 trips before I head in for standard tire repairs so, my next trip should have that included

How is the promods map? I am pretty happy with the last TSM, os are they compatible togheter?

The are not compatible together, the Promods map is much better made but not quite as big. Promods however is compatible with the Russia map 1.3 extension whereas TSM is not.

I use GT Mikes mod for the Streamline and regular R series, all the realistic options just make the truck look much better 👍

Anybody read the SCS blog frequently? DAF XF Euro 6 expected in September and 1.13 coming out soon as well! Just hope 1.13 doesn't break Promods and multiplayer!

Awesome pictures 👍 It was a nice drive, and it's quite nice not having to worry about people bombing up behind you at 150 km/h (even though the incompetence of much of the playerbase is still striking). My livery still needs fine tuning, though

In other news, I doubt I'll be playing much MP since I've gotten the infamous "Connection with server has been broken" error on EU#1. It could also be a ban since I was lag slammed at Europoort and was blocking the highway for about 15 seconds before rescuing, but there is no ban message in the log (15:55 for the incident).

I'm loving the Russia map. It has a totally different feel to the scs or Promods maps , the main difference being the sheer size and much lower population density. The place is vast and it can be a long way between towns ! Also the roads are bumpy and patched in places , roadside vegetation sometimes creeps right onto the pavement. The trains look different and are much longer , cities are mostly hi rise apartments while small villages have a very rural feel to them. One village I passed through even had chickens wandering around on the road !

@spinner It is a great map. I took a load to one of the north-east cities in Russia, a section of the road was all dirt It is really fun in a MAZ or a Kamaz, makes for a very different experience.

Yeah , I like how the road surface varies quite a bit. Some roads look like asphalt but the ffb and dust coming off the wheels tell you otherwise. Others have no lines painted and are wider than 2 lanes. I hit a huge bump somewhere in the north west area yesterday , so big I almost lost control ! (could actually be a mapping glitch)

It would help people like me that are rubbish at searching for them themselves, almost every single mod I downloaded so far was either awful or made the game crash.

I think it was somewhere between Smolensk , Velizh and Nevel. There is a dip in the road as you pass under a bridge. The impact was right at the bottom of the dip. (I wonder if maybe my trailer clipped the underside of the bridge ?)

It could've clipped the bridge, oversize load? I'll try to get a job in that area so I can find it.

Yeah , very likely an oversize load. Can't be 100% sure though.

As you travel up this dirt road to the delivery point , there's a tractor half blocking the road with a (possibly) drunk Russian laying next to it and another guy with a farm truck stopped waving his arms at him. Hilarious !!

@spinner Awesome pictures! I think I've been to the farm track bit, or a similar one. At a truck stop there were a load of guys waving there arms at something, really funny.

Yes it does, no problems at all. And it works with the new DLC now too

Time for a screenshot. It's been a big week in ETS world. Promods 1.71 is just beautiful but now I'm considering adding Poland rebuilding and the Russia map as they are all compatible. Jazzycat has also updated his railway cargo and trailers and cargo packs. Its a great time to be a truck simmer

It has taken us a lot of time and effort to obtain the necessary license; to finally complete the "Big Seven" European truck manufacturers licenses.
