Turn off fatigue simulation and you can sleep for three times in a row. It may work with it on too.

It appears it lets you sleep twice in a row on default settings. I guess that'll do.

Now, just as I got on to the motorway with a valuable cargo, a car slams into the back of it. 23% damage. God damn charming...

You can take the hit and drive on knowing there will be a penalty , or load up an autosave from before the accident happened. Not realistic but a lot less frustrating

I'm in Europe on holidays right now and although I've been here before , I wasn't a "euro trucker" back then. The road signs , tollbooths and scenery seem very familiar haha. Seen plenty of cool trucks too

I got a really small upgrade which is letting me play ETS2 with everything on minimum at 15FPS. Not even caring, just to be able to play it it's awesome!

Question: Am I the only one that ignores speed law on country road and just blast full throttle 90km/h when's the limit is 60km/h?

I don't think there are speed cameras on the countryside roads.

I get my speeding tickets in the UK, not sure I have one from anywhere else yet...not from a lack of trying though

Traffic has been a hazard. I'm driving along just fine and the next thing I see is a car stopped and have no reaction time to brake and avoid them

I've been trying to look out for speed cameras for the most part lately. Sometimes you just can't slow down in time from 130km/h though and that is the downside of having the limiter off. I think I've seen the speedo go over 150km/h on several occasions too.

No cargo? I have the 600hp Globetrotter cab FH16 as mine.

I was also wondering whether the 6x2/6x4 chassii actually make any difference on the road compared to the basic one. I'd like to upgrade if they do but don't want to waste money aaaaand lose the pretty side covers if I do.

The speed can change from the load size as well. Obviously 5T is going to be easier on your truck than 25T.

The 6x2 and 6x4 feel the same to me. The biggest difference is that your truck becomes heavier and needs more power, as well as your fuel consumption will go up drastically.

Today this happened:

I'm using a Scania T at the lowest possible spec, meaning 250 HP engine, 4x2, no front mirrors etc. A delivery weighing 24 tons has to go from Lille to Dortmund, expected Tuesday 16:29-17:59. After much frustration of not having enough power to climb the slightest hill and never getting over 80 KM/H, I delivered the cargo Tuesday 17:59.

I have never delivered too late, and I continue that streak.

What kind of mods for the Merc are you looking for? I know a couple of skin mods and at least one good sound mod.

Ohaha is working on a mod for the MP4. In the same style as his Volvo mods.

I looking for some chassis mods for the Merc. I would love to see a longer 4x6 chassis personally for all truck including Ohaho FH16. From what I read Ohaho is not planning on it I really love that guys work.

I really need to clean out my mods too. I still have some from very old versions of ETS2.

These look to be top quality , but $25 for one truck is way too much IMO , especially considering every other mod I've ever seen is free , and pretty good quality. I'd pay $10.

I had a big clean out of my mod folder today , updated a few of Jazzycats , sold some old truck mods that I dont use any more. It was way overdue haha.

I did clean up and organize my mod folder yesterday. Took about 2.5 hours to complete. I personally relabeled them categorically to what they do since now the name makes no difference eg:zzzzzz. I also did update all the Jazzycat as well. I have some pre 1.10 mods that still work. I also installed the truck packs for Volvo and Scania as well. I also installed a Kenworth 391 as well. For some reason now I cannot see all extra trucks. I think I have too many truck mods. I need to figure out how I can see all mods and more than the 8. I was able to literally burn at lot of time with a newer Scania mod. Here's what I did. Yes lots of lights. I made a 2x4 and a 4x6.

I actually used the truck packs for Scania, and for Volvo. I think there is 3 for Scania, and 3 for Volvo. It seems that it just overwrites, and does not expand the spots. Its really annoying that in ETS2 there is all the "pages" to navigate yet, here's just two. Would be nice if it expanded out automatically to the mods you have. I have a Scania 132m mod, and a Freightliner as well. That one does not show up in Man dealership at all. Ill post a screenshot of my fully organized and noted mods prob later today or this week.

I have heard/read about this game for many months now, never really caring enough to take the dive due to the whole idea not appealing. Fast forward to Saturday and I saw it for $7 on Steam, why not, it will be another driving title to have in my collection that I try but then let it sit and never touch again......

....well sadly (sarcasm) that's not the case!

I have only driven in the game for about 2 hours (real time) and made 3 deliveries, one delivery of saw dust I think, literally took me about 45 minutes to back into the delivery spot. Never in my gaming career have I ever been so entertained by such a tedious task!

This is one hell of a game, can't wait to really see what it offers in the sense of fuel, sleep etc....and here I was getting my social life back to normal!

^ I'm in the same way! I'm new to computer gaming and had to wait til now to play but I can't put it down atm. I'm a professional driver and I do get that 'truckin it up' feeling. Currently driving my way to owning my own truck.

I have a problem with ETS2 . I have a loan and have a Scania whenever I am out on delivery suddenly my trailer completely disappears 10 minutes into the journey , it also happened just when I was going from Aberdeen to Germany and I was almost finished . Very annoying .

Is it a legit copy ? Purchased through Steam ?
What game version are you playing ? The latest is 1.19

This bug seems to always happen on pirated versions. If you are certain your copy is legal and legit , post on the scs forums for support.

With the Cities Skylines and Train Simulator announcements for Xbox One, I'm holding out a slim hope a version of this game follows. I don't have a Windows PC worth spit, so it's currently and possibly always out my reach.
