I am not sure about anyone, but I have lot of mods. I organized them based off who and or type of mod since now with 1.19 as per squirrel. The game pretty much don't give a damn on file name for order (some mods need top priority tho). Here is my current list of mods. I have TONS (pun intended) of trucks, but due to some limitation SCS has we cant enjoy all these mods. I would love to have all mods available in the respective dealer with the original trucks as well.

Ahhhhh yeah! Soon I'll be able to stop by my favorite TA truckstop and see if the usual lot lizards are walking about....also pick up some salt water taffy!

On a somewhat serious note though , is there a release date yet? I heard 2016 but not sure if an actual date was set.

Also a question for the Euro vets, are there any overpass/bridge height scenarios? I have only been on roughly 10% of the roads so just wondering if this is a possibility.

The only areas that can be an issue is the tollbooth. There is a mod so u can drive super wide loads and avoid collisions.

If you get a traffic density mod, that will mess with inner city traffic or interchanges. I have to sometimes exit the game and reload it because the AI is stuck.

@Oso Actual I have only ever had one collision with a bridge due to load height. That bridge was on an old version of Rus Map.

@yzfmike You could create a new profile for a group of trucks / mods that you can't currently use. It will be up to you what you include but you could for instance have a heavy / oversize profile. All your heavy haulage mods in one place.
I keep my mod folder pretty lean , only stuff that is compatible with the current game version or trucks that I use regularly are kept. That makes it easy to eliminate the cause of problems when they happen.

I updated Promods and Poland Rebuilding today. There's a few new roads and a town in the Netherlands. Jazzys painted trucks now haul matching trailers :D Looks great !

And my Stockmaster T800 finally found some cattle to haul ! I added a Thrustmaster TH8RS shifter to my rig , the difference that has made to immersion is huge. I really didn't expect that haha. Today was a good day :)

Speaking of mods.... every web site I try to download a mod from always sends you to a third party web site with a couple or a few download buttons and it seems no matter which I choose it always locks up my browser with some adware or bull shine. I have to restart my computer to exit the browser. I've successfully managed to actually download two mods but 9 out of 10 times I get a virus warning screen locking up my pc. It's very frustrating... how do you guys get past this? Why can't I download straight from the web site?

The last one has you make an account, but is free. The first two are really good. The third one gets way more updates then the others. I trust all of them.

Hey guys I'm wondering whether to try this sim on my aging alienware m17x r2 laptop. The game requires 4.0gb ram but i have 4.1gb, win 7 sp1 ultimate, q720 core i7 1.6ghz, mobile ati radeon hd5870 1024mb. Everything passes on system requirements lab except the ram and cpu. Can anyone throw any advice my way. I'm looking to save up and buy a better PC for playing farm expert 2016, farming sim 2015, euro truck 2 sim and maybe any other sim like a flight sim if I can get my head around it or get some help with things and meet and play with someone online to learn the basics. The problem is I'm miles away from being able to afford a decent gaming pc. I use to build my own systems but I cba to anymore as I no longer have a computing job and my interest is quite as into building super high spec equipment anymore. So if I do buy a system it will probably be pre built and a cheap system from alienware or something. My alienware m17x r2 is only just able to play farming expert 2016 with low graphics car enabled at 1280x720 and fast reenders enabled. Otherwise the frame rate is too choppy for gameplay. The graphics don't look that good but the game plays fairly smoothly.

I have an ASUS Z87A with 8GB Patriot RAM, Intel i5 3.5 Ghz Quad Core and a Nvidia GTX650 TiBoost (Desktop). This was bout $1000 because I spend another 150 for BD Drive and Win 7os. Its considered Mid range setup. A few things Id say that would help is to make sure you do maintenance on your computer. Use the disk defrag and disc clean up. Get rid of programs of no use. Disable some windows services to gain that edge in performance. I do not have an SSD drive on my computer, and ETS2 does well. I still get some stutter, its just at the the beginning tho loading everything. It would most likely be best to run few mods on that computer. With ETS2 you can have a slider for graphics or customize it yourself. Everything is pretty much the same, just the screen isn't as sharp.

- Discover T12 plays ETS
- Read Community Spotlight
- Must now play ETS

Upgraded to windows 10 so let's see how the laptop holds up.

I hope you don't to go rebootception........ Its a popular Windows 10 feature.

*Didn't notice the idiot side of that.*

I have an Xbox 360 but I don't have a wired controller and I have a wheel for my PS2, but I'm sure it won't work with my grandparents' computer.

It seems a Logitec DFGT will do the job, but the G27 is def recommeneded. With G29 out soon, the G27 will hit discount pretty soon.

So I finally got a mod available. I have the Peterbilt 381. Boy do I love it. Wish just some more power, and cleaner audio file. Has huge possibility to be top of the mods, even tho there is few options anyway. Would like to see more tank options and mudflaps options too.

I have considered getting an American style truck mod for a few months now but never got round to it. Does it enhance the game at all or should I just wait for the new American Truck Simulator when it comes out. Larger roads probably help.
