I have a feeling you might be a bit disappointed come March !

might be asking a bit too much; but I'm hoping for 2 tracks and maybe 9 or 10 cars
TRACKS:
Mazda Laguna Sea
Circuit De La Sarthe
CARS:
ford gt mkiv
Bentley speed 8
Nissan gtr super gt500
subaru brz gt300
rcf gt500
prius gt300
NSX gt500
488 gt3
Bentley gt3
ford gt lm

I'm hoping for a race car based update

Eventually I'd love to have some historic racing cars (that don't cost $20 mil) and tracks in new historic racing classes. My last serious multiplayer racing experience was Grand Prix Legends so I'd love to have historic cars such as the 1967 Ferrari 312, Eagle-Westlake T1G, Lotus 49, Brabham BT24, BRM P115, and Honda RA300 with authentic historical versions of circuits like Brands Hatch, Rouen, Monza, Watkins Glen, Silverstone, and Spa. This is a game supposedly focused on racing, so I think it'd be an easy fit while also bringing something different and exciting.

Do us TRUE GT fans a favor. Go back to IRacing. Your elitist mentality helps NOBODY.

First up, I'm no elitist, far from it. 2nd, I'm a true GT fan having played from day one and owning every single title. 3rd, ive never played iRacing and never will. GT is what I'm faithful to and always will be. And 4th I'm entitled to express my feelings. Personally I don't want old tracks, a view which I am more than entitled to share and done in a manner that didn't get agro with anyone. The series is in it's 20th year and needs to move forward and become what it's always advertised itself as: The Real Driving Simulator. So before you go judging me as not being a true GT fan, try putting your brain into action before hitting the keyboard. Oh, and try laying off the capitals, no one likes a shouter.

So a gentleman expresses his interests in real world tracks and is suddenly an elitist and should return to iracing???
I’ve played the GT franchise for 20 years. I want real world tracks as well.
VIR, Mid-Ohio just for starters.
What is so wrong with these opinions?

That Gran Turismo and the "fake tracks" go hand in hand, that is, they are part of the essence and identity of the franchise ...

Seriously, if you do not like them, I do not know what you're doing playing a GT ...

I don't see any problem with the classics. It's not like there aren't already a ton of fictional tracks in the game.

I do however somewhat agree that I would rather see real world tracks like Spa, Le Mans, Daytona, Laguna Seca, Silverstone, Fuji, Motegi etc first, but I certainly wouldn't be "gutted" to hear one of the old classics coming back. I'd welcome Deep Forrest, Trial Mountain, Grand Valley, Midfield, Apricot Hill, Tokyo R246 and a couple of others with open arms.

You can never be a true fan of GT if you do not like its fantasy tracks.

Deep forest, midfield, apricot hill, rome, seattle and many more have a place in the Gt series. I know prople prefer real tracks I respect that but many GT fans would love to see a lot of the old tracks back not just for nostalgia but also upgraded into today's graphics

I hope one day GT Sport brings back Red Rock Valley and Rome Night from GT2.

I would also prefer real racing tracks to come first. I have nothing against the fictional tracks either and raced them plenty on the older games. I would like to see mostly Le Mans, and a loooong test track along with Laguna Seca, Monico, Spa.

As a Test Track I would love to see Nardo or Euro Speedway Lausitz.

Especially Lausitz it has a long enormous straight

I had to YouTube both of these cause I honestly couldn't remember the layouts after probably 15+ years of not playing GT2 (I still have ALL the GT's in my basement though, will never get rid of them). Damn the nostalgia overload. Brings me back to being a little kid playing GT with my dad sitting on the floor in the living room. Tube televisions, x and square gas and brake, triangle was still the button to go back to the previous screen, the classic soundtrack, the discs were still in CD cases, why you have hit me in the feels like this?

Sadly though I don't think we'll see these two ever again.

I have experienced VR several times and elevation changes only made me feel sick.
You can't do too much VR in one sitting. Try tackling VR in small portions (maybe 1 or 2 races per day). It's just like getting your sea legs if you've never been on a boat or ship.

Seriously, if you do not like them, I do not know what you're doing playing a GT ...

Gran Turismo's identity also revolved around '90s JDM metal. The majority of the franchise's history also didn't include online racing, or a livery editor. Should those have been kept out of Sport on the basis of tradition? How about all real-world racing tracks?

News flash: people like different things. Expressing a desire for real-world tracks to be added over fantasy tracks (which already make up the majority of Sport's locations) is completely acceptable.

Nevermind the rather odd desire by some for less people to play this game... because nothing helps a franchise continue selling quite like that.

Please point to where I said I do not like fantasy tracks???
My comments were towards another member who considers us (me) an elitist for wanting more real world tracks over fantasy ones.
Never did I say I don’t want fantasy tracks in.
Reading is fundamental!

i hope they add that indoor kart circuit from gt6 with all the funky lights and bridges.

Trial Mountain is the main track that isnt real world that I would want in the game. Then Monaco, Imola, Spa, Phillip Island, Sydney Motorsport Park, Le Mans for real world tracks.

Car wise would like to see Holden/Ford/Nissan 'Supercars' in the game BoP them with the gt3 cars as well as the Japanese super gt series. Also the old group C sportscars. 962, c9, 787b, r92cp etc

Obviously not all in the next updates but over time.

I'd like to see them implement the daily log in bonus again. If not, increase the payouts. Unless I get super lucky on the prize wheel of bad cars, it's going to take me months to earn the credits to buy the 330P4 and XJ13. I sure don't feel like running 100 Blue Moon races in career mode.

Next weekend, it is likely that Kaz will announce something on twitter. Based on what he did last month.

I believe some cars are right, like NSX 90's, Mitsubishi GTO, Ferrari Dino, Lambo Miura, Ford GT40, Skyline R33, Nissan Silvia. Maybe tuning show cars...

The circuits of the February update I think may be Spa or Sarthe. One or another. More Dragon Trial with new variations.

There's a lot of real world tracks that I don't care much for, that are already in most games. Monza is a good example.

I'd love to roll up on that old school banking though. I'd like to see some of the old originals though TBH, GVS and mid, what the hell PD?

You can win 375.000 per race in the KTM. So you “only” need 53 races. You need to drive “only” 10,3 hours. That is less than a 12-hours endurance race that some people actually do. So one afternoon is enough.

Sounds way more positive like this ;)

(But then you need to do it again for the other car so just shoot me...)

Just stating the obvious now, but unless tracks were already scheduled to be released soon and are actively in development, new tracks will take ages to make.

Obviously one would hope PD would of had further content (GT-League, Cars, Track Layouts, All new tracks?) in development from the get go in order to fit a schedule.

But if they're prioritising those things already released, and then if new tracks are being started "now". Then sit tight, it will be a while.
They just need to make improvements from GT6.

Indeed...

Thankfully, Yamauchi confirms that it wasn’t a conscious uncoupling. “There was no particular reason for it,” he explains. “We are already working on Deep Forest; we actually have the data for Deep Forest that runs on Gran Turismo Sport but it does have some problems.”

It’s little surprise that Yamauchi would focus on Deep Forest. He confirmed to us back at the Gran Turismo 5 launch in 2010 that it was his favorite GT “original” circuit.

He adds: “The problem that we had with some of the older tracks from previous Gran Turismo games was the scale being off in certain places. The size of the trees are very large, or the width of the curbstones, etc. There were curbstones that were wider than cars!

“If we want to bring that into the quality of GT Sport now, there is a lot that we have to redesign, and it is not that easy.”

Ok then Mr. Positivity  Actually, I did spend 8 hours on the FGT race series back in GT3 non-stop, so it is do-able. I think I might be drooling and mind numb after 10.3 hours at Blue Moon. God, I hate turn 1.
