Adult swim is showing anime for April Fools?

:D
They always show anime on Saturday night from 12 AM-6 AM ET. The thing people are going "OMG" over is the fact it's like they're airing Toonami. Toonami promos, and TOM actually swore for once.

So far they've aired Bleach (Not classic Toonami, but they need to keep the premiers going), Dragon Ball Z, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki OVA 3, and The Big O. YuYu Hakusho is coming up, and we'll see what's coming after that once we're on The Big O's commercial break.

Still holding out for Rurouni Kenshin. They've just gotta air it.

Also many are hoping for Sailor Moon, but unfortunately that won't air. Nobody has the rights here anymore (It'll happen eventually), so if [as] aired it, they'd get sued.

Also, they're going to air Blue Submarine No. 6 after YuYu Hakusho. Should I be ashamed I've never heard of it?

I put on CN East, just cause Big O. Been ages since I've seen Toonami. Kind of worked out well, this house sitting.

Big O, such a great show. Really wish it had a season 3. I'm still hoping, even though it's been ages since season 2 finished.

It took me a while to get the significance of that when Big O is on every weekend anyway, because I completely forgot about the first season of it never being shown on AS like it was on Toonami.

No other Keys works has been so greatly anticipated as Little Busters. How long has it been? 3 years?

I didn't even realize it was Key, definitely sold now. As long as it doesn't let me down like Air did. I doubt it will though.

Yup. I haven't played the game, but I'm pretty sure this could turn out to be better than Clannad, judging from how much response this is generating.

It actually was for a time (Uncut instead of edited), then they lost the airing rights to season 1 for some reason. Earlier this year, they actually were streaming season 1 on [adult swim] Gold Video. Finally got to see season 1 thanks to that.

(The reason why they still have season 2 is because they helped make it. So they basically own it forever.)

YuYu Hakusho is back, and is it me, or does it look like they're using the video from the Blu-rays?

Well, considering they've always just used it for filler anyway, I suppose it makes sense that they didn't want to keep paying to renew the rights when they could just show S2 instead.

One thing I'm curious about is how much money AS had to pony up to grab all these licences for series they no longer had. Rumours are running around that Toonami is coming back (which would make this stunt make more sense, since they could amortize the costs over time), but I don't place any stock in the ones I've seen so far.

Toonami probably will never come back as the way we knew it, but we could see them at least using Toonami bumps for ASA every Saturday night from now on. I mean Twitter exploded over this, along with YouTube.

As for money, they probably just paid for only the episodes they're airing, not the entire series. 1 episode of DBZ probably was kinda cheap for example.

Holy ****, Trigun is going to be on after that Blue Submarine show. Awesome! I'm actually starting that next Friday dubbed on Hulu.
Probably that DBZ Kai crap .
They actually aired the original Z, a Cell Saga episode.

Final episode of the Cell Saga, from what I think is the remastered set, and with the Faulconer score.
Unfortunately, Orange Bricks FTL. I love brighter, and bolder colors, missing lines, shaking problems completely unresolved, and 20% of the footage cropped vertically, which all in all basically makes the footage look worse.

No, but I've heard about it from many people along with Wolf's Rain.

Ah yes Wolf's Rain wasnt to bad but yeah they showed Witch Hunter Robin Twice through it was .. memerable so its worth looking up if i can still remember it.

From what ive seen on DBZ kai A few voices seem diffrent maybe even the story. Maybe its just me idk but i'll stick with the original,
