^ Future friend of Tomoko perhaps?

-> But I'm glad she's noticing Mokkochi's despair other than that super hot Yū-chan! :)

Watched FLCL last night. It was entertaining, in a stupid, yet clever, way.

I was happily surprised by the lack of fanservice, too.

Well considering the age of the show there's a higher chance you're not going to see as much.

For example right now I'm watching Love Hina which is now 13 years old, and it doesn't have all that much fanservice, though back in the day it was considered to have quite a bit of it.

FLCL is the best anime in the history of ever.

13? I thought it was older, that piece of trash.

Love Hina,2000. It was made before that Mage master negi-san or something like that, and around when Chobits was popular.

Yeah, I fully remember the times and the show, because a friend of mine participated in the mexican dub made for it for a cable channel. I was forced to watch it later on because of it. It so sucks.

I love the fact that me mentioning FLCL has somehow sparked an argument about Love Hina...

And now for something completely different:

Now. compare with this:

To be more specific, it was from you mentioning FLCL's lack of fanservice that kinda led to it.
Love Hina is hilarious.
Not sure if serious....

I'm 16 episodes in, and it can hardly be called that. It's somehow enjoyable to an extent (Probably from how ridiculous many things are), but it's rather mediocre.

It's been a while since I've seen it but I thought it was pretty funny.

I suddenly feel so very old reading all the above.

It makes me feel old as well. Probably the same with many other users here.

-> Love Hina was a fail of an anime adaptation same goes with Rosario Vampire, Negima, Girls Bravo, & Ichigo 100%. If I was a decillionare, I would remake all these series that is true to their manga storyline!!

-> Who cares if I feel old mentioning these animes/mangas? The point is the memories you had with them!

-> Speaking of old school...

Looks like the only hundreds-episode anime that I can swallow are only Gintama, D.Gray-man and about-to-be Space Brother.
Liking Space Brothers here as well. :)

-> Another dump!

:)
I imagine Mami is liking being a cheerleader. ;)

EDIT -> Some things that I've found...

An oldie, but defintely a goodie. ;)👍

-> One more dump for all Rayearth fans!

;)👍
Nice one. ;)👍

Given Maki's personality, I'm thinking Homura feels kind of out of place.

OK then, here's one that I found. I hope you like it.

And speaking of old, nearly eight years after this set came out, it's finally ready to sell out at Rightstuf, the Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Collection Thinpak (34 left). The set already has hit scalper pricing on new copies on Amazon.

The set has been OOP for nearly two years.

Do you think NGE will get a Blu-ray release in the future? I mean Gainax surely still wants to milk the crap out of it right?

At least you live in a country where NGE is available on a format other than VHS...

At least you leave in a country where anime can be acquired without piracy!

All the seemingly "legit" stuff you find in stores here are Chinese copies with "Original" stickers slapped on them. :ouch:

Actually, I lie, we did get the 21-26 Director's Cut episodes on DVD, and the first two platinum volumes, but otherwise, VHS only. Fortunately the first two Rebuild's got great releases to make up for that.

LIAR!!!

Lol, I'm tempted to get one of those last 34 sets. Nah, End of Evangelion costs a bomb. Why would I want the series without EoE?

Also, anyone here watched Ranma 1/2? The anime channel here aired it in 2010 so I watched and it was quite enjoyable.
