Kill La Kill is entertaining, but it's not on the same level as Gurren Lagann, from what I've seen.

I haven't seen all of the current series of Monogatari, but I like most of it so far, as they're taking the story in some interesting directions, especially in the second arc, which had me gripped. Bakemonogatari, despite an offputting beginning, ultimately turned out to be a good show; but I can't say I liked Nisemonogatari much. Too much random nudity and incestuous tooth brushing, not enough character development.

Galilei Donna is the story of the three Ferrari sisters--Hozuki, Kazuki, and Hazuki--descendants of Galileo Galilei who have completely different personalities and thus are constantly at odds with each other, until they are falsely accused of terrorism as part of a conspiration involving an ancient treasure said to be left behind by Galileo. As the only way to clear their names is to beat their enemies to the treasure, the Ferrari sisters follow the clues left by their ancestor and embark in a journey arround the world to unveil its secrets.
Interesting...

They aren't actually on a race to the treasure to clear their names. The story sets in a grim world where there is a shortage of energy resources, so it's in high demand. It's a power struggle.

So has anyone else here have watched Tiger & Bunny other than myself?

I watched!. Is a pretty good show. What I liked most, was the relation between the two main characters.

PS: This season I started watching Samurai Flamenco, because the concept of the show reminded me T&B, but after the episode 7, Samurai Flamenco is a big disappointment.

Probably everybody. I remember it was one of the most popular shows of its season when it first aired. I still haven't gotten around to watching it myself when it seems it's one of the many must-watch shows out there.

I started watching it too for the interesting plotline but once supernatural stuff started coming in, I dunno what to feel of the show anymore. I guess something could come out of it though.

@Endless-Wilso, I'm flattered. Semi-win figure too.

While we're on the subject, here's a pretty neat one that's recent:

Dragon's Crown Elf by Megahouse.

Dreamy, Remains the Day Ryogi Shiki by Kotobukiya.

And yes, I'm keeping up with Monogatari as always.

This made me think of you AOS

Ohhh, I really like that first one.

The first two films are just summaries of the TV series. You don't need to watch them if you've seen the TV series.

Kill la Kill 11: Great fight between Conductor girl and protagonist. Love the twist though. Satsuki lost her composure!

I just finished up KlK 11 and I have to say; I didn't expect that to go the way it did.

Are we all going to Xmas avatars? Though watching the first ep of Galilei Donna. I think I gotta keep watching the eps to find out more. Though there was a scene I thought about Metal Gear :lol:

I've been with this avatar for a few weeks now :lol:

I would have a Kasumi (DoA) avatar, but I cannot for the life of me find one that meets my two requirements;

1. It needs to be post the graphic upgrade
2. She needs to be wearing something that isn't a swim suit.

This is harder than it sounds; loads of rule 34 stuff.

Steins;Gate Deja Vu. Just finished it.

I need to do a rewatch one day. I went braindead for a bit and haven't fully understood how the ending came to be.

I'd be down to see some 8-bit Mahou Shoujos in Mario outfits. It would be interesting to see how someone can pull off something successful knowing how little pixels that have to play with.

Gendo seems like the type of dick who would say that to little kids. :lol:

Been quite a while since I've poked my head in here, how's everybody been doing? Looks like KnK is a regular topic here like everywhere else, I've been watching it as well as Yuushibu, Noucome, StB, and Outbreak Company. Couldn't get into KlK though, it's way too over the top for me.

I've honestly been out of the otaku loop for the most part for a while now, after breaking up with my cosplayer ex in June and then having my department at AX killed off a few months ago. Having the place to myself did allow me to turn it into my own otaku valhalla though, lol:
