KanColle's art is horrible, a few good ones but not great. Something I kind of struggle with when I play it. Nevermind the lack of consistency.

I just like looking at cute girls launching planes, doing artillery spotting and torpedo cut-ins. And sending the enemy fleets deep to the bottom.

And, this game is damn historically informative.

It's not just the gameplay mechanics that are pretty historically accurate. Some of the character designs are based on the girls' historical counterparts, like Kaga's ponytail (based on the IJN Kaga's heat vents) and Takao and Atago's...
...let's just say that the WW2 heavy cruisers has large fuel tanks.

What I mean is:

- Battleship Mutsu telling to stop playing with fire and saying "No.3 turret, what are you doing?"
- Destroyer Hibiki who was handed over to the Soviet fleet and changed her name to Verniy (Верный)
- Aviation battleships - wait, did they really exist? Yes, they did. (But only Ise-class). Same with aviation submarines (how the hell did they even work? That's how)
- Carrier Akagi: "Reppuu? No, never heard of it" - of course she couldn't, because A7M Reppuu fighter was introduced after she was sunk.

And so on.

Welp. I am now the owner of zero figurines. Just sold my last two figurines to some Swedish folk last night. I've already began hesitating on ordering that Saber or Velociraptor.

Will this mark the beginning of a new figurine? Will AOS ever make up his mind?

Find out next time, on Dragon. Ball. Z.

I'm watching Danger 5 S2E2...holy crap, Ilsa's wearing the uniform from NGE!

So I read the opening sentences to give you in depth info on future episodes of ARC-V that have been confirmed and this caught my eye for a future epsiode:

2 "Bloodthirsty" Women from Duel Academy are going to gang up on an innocent little girl from Heartland

I though Yugioh was meant to be a 🤬 kid show. What the 🤬 happened. I know bringing all the Yugioh's together is exciting and all but this is a bit overboard for a show targeted towards children, at least thaat is what the Australian Age Rating tells me.

I actually can't wait for some more 4 Kids dubs of ARC-V to see all the changes, they already change a fair bit of the 1st Season of ARC-V since it was very dark near the end (cards were censored to be more friendly, "Xyz Scum" was replaced with a standard "Xyz User", music is more tame and rape faces as well as very creepy lines from Yuri were toned down).

I thought Pokemon was also a kids show...till I saw Squirtle bite Charmander till Red did something.

Who knew that Gundam had some influence in the H industry...

I saw the popular RWBY series today for the first time on YouTube just now. Judging on comments I read, I saw the first episode for the fourth season of RWBY. I say that because there were people talking about seeing the episode I just saw based on the final episode of Season 3. Pretty cool cartoon made using Poser. I kind of drew interest in seeing what RWBY was about after seeing one of @RedDragon's avatars- the Weiss Schnee character. But the episode I saw was on Ruby Rose. As I mentioned before, I probably saw the first episode after Season 3 according to the YouTube comments I read.

This is my debut to this thread (I think...), and while I am a fan of animé, I haven't been too crazy on it. Some of the past anime I've seen an enjoyed include: Ranma 1/2 (my favorite), Macross Plus, Mobile Suit Gundam, Outlaw Star, the Sailor Moon series, Dragon Ball Z, Tenchi Muyo!, and Cowboy Bebop among others.

Real anime talk:

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri is probably worth picking up. The protag is a very motivated individual and that makes you want to see him succeed in killing the Kabane. In this world, some wicked thing began spreading. People get bitten by infected people (Kabane) also turn into one. These zombies have steel that protect their heart making them harder than the typical zombie you may be familiar with. When people get bitten, they have formed rules that the individual must commit suicide by placing a bomb on their heart to end their life before they change into a Kabane. The protag points out how the mentality of sacrificing others for the purpose of surviving is ineffective and is a dead-end losing strategy in the long run.

The masses are HELLA paranoid of anyone who enters their closed off civilizations (think of those walls in Attack on Titans), and anyone who comes in must be inspected. The only link between these places are trains and train stations.

The protag who has spent 5 years developing a gun powerful enough to penetrate this steel tries it out for the first time when one of the trains arriving to his area was loaded with Kabane and began invading.

This is only the first episode. Yes it is action-packed, and it is by the same studio who made Attack on Titans. So the action is hell good to look at.

I'm liking Kabaneri more than AoT, though I don't remember much about AoT. And also that gun is called the Stinger, I believe.

I would have started Kabaneri by now if I hadn't picked up Gunnm last week or wasn't trying to wade through Akagi after putting it off since 2014.

Those rumours of an upcoming Battle Angel movie adaptation actually led me to the OVA some months back. Of course it pales in comparison to the original Vol. 1 and 2 (with only one character standing out more than their manga counterpart), but watching an old VHS recording of the UK English dub they aired on Sci-Fi Channel gave it a suitably old skool feel.

Speaking of AoT, apparently the second season that was supposed to come out during the fall lineup of this year has been delayed to 2017, according to the news on the wikia.
