oooh, its fair to post it in a forum in wich everyone likes drifting? as I told you, I dont want all the dudes in there shouting @ me. I want real opinions. and no, they wont move it, dont worry. it will stay there, youll see (: it has to do with cars. 'sides, there is no "drifters only forum". only in the GT3 section, but I am not talking about GT3. well... not ONLY of GT3, but about it and about real life.

I havent watched trigun. some dude even bought it with my money, said he'd give me the series when he was done with it... yeah... he moved to another state. there goes my money. and I didnt even have the chance to see ONE damned episode. well, I saw two, but it was a crappy .avi.

Am I the only one who dislikes Trigun?
I was really excited that Cartoon Network was willing to show Trigun. I could only digest one, maybe two episodes before I gave up on it. I thought Trigun had a mature, intelligent, meaningful plot? I assumed wrong. Basically, the characters goofed around shooting people on a desert planet, wow... My hopes were set too high for Trigun and I feel disappointed.
Just my opinion though.

wait! you have to see the end! you get to find out who or 'what' is and the real power brhind his trusty gun. not to mention legato! what great depiction of the pure ecsence of villiany (is that even a phrase?)
if there is a serious great plot oriented anime it is GASARAKI, this is a mech anime that MAKES LOGICAL SENSE. set in present day where the united forces attack IRAQ (belgistan, but the dictator looks like saddam). the whole thing was developed by the same people who did 'ghost in the shell'. the story moves along with many twists and real life scenarios. it was a joy to follow this one, not a chore.

Ok, basically you are the kind of person that watches a show once and judges it based off of one show. That's almost as bad as this one girl I know who watched the last episode and then sad Trigun was dumb and based that conclusion off of not knowing the plot. And if you would have watched all of Trigun, you would have found out that the series has a very good plot and story to it (And let's not forget Wolfwood's cross). I would take Trigun over anything on TV right now . . . it has action, comedy, and it just great overall. Vash is the absolute opposite of what you would think a hero would be. "Dangerous toys are fun, but you could get hurt." And since you haven't watched all of Trigun, the start of the series is much more comical and less serious; towards the middle and end of the series, it gets much, much more serious and yet still has some comical points.
The ending for Trigun is awesome. Legato . . . just sick, but to me Knives is much worse when it comes to that. I don't think I have ever seen anyone that straight up beats Knives in being pure evil. "I kill the spiders, so that the butterflies can live." (Or something along that line he says.) But Legato is a very sick man too . . . how cool would it be to have psychic powers?

Well, excuse me, but I don't have time to sit around and watch all 26 episodes like a nerd. A person should be able to watch the first episode of any TV show and decide should they should keep watching. In my opinion, the first episode should be one of the best of the series because that will keep people interested. Obviously, Trigun failed in keeping me interested.

Well that is just like playing MGS2 for an hour and stopping because the story hasn't really started yet. And still yet just like me saying this, well whatever the hell your favorite show is, I think it sucks because it is your favorite show. And obvisously you don't know much because the first episode of Trigun is great . . . how can you not love Vash pointing the gun of another guy and drawing a picture of himself doing his love and peace thing? And what about the quote "Dangerous toys are fun, but you could get hurt." Absolutely classic. Watching 26 episodes like a nerd? That's almost as good as, well let's sit here and talk in a forum for however long like a nerd. I watched all of Trigun on CTN each night for a whole freakin' 30 minutes a day. If you can't take 30 minutes out of your day to do one thing, that's pretty freakin' sad. In the first place, I didn't mean any offense to you . . . but you can't judge something after your first impression, that is the same thing as judging a person after first meeting them and barely knowing their name. Or say going to a movie, watching the first 15 minutes of it and then coming to the conclusion that it sucks because you have seen a whole 15 minutes of a movie. Watch the whole series of Trigun and then after watching all of it, you can tell me it sucks if you still think it does; but only until you watch the whole ******* thing, don't say ****. As of right now, you are basing your opinion on only part of a series and not a whole and are making yourself sound like a *******. You have only seen the beginning of all the characters and haven't even seen some of the coolest ones, or even some of the best parts of the series.

Yes, I know Legato accepts all of Knives' beliefs, isn't that kinda hard to believe though? With Legato being a human and all, and since he accepts Knives' beliefs basically isn't he damning himself then? The entire human race needs to be eliminated from the planet because they are a "virus" according to Knives, I wonder how he came to that conclusion???

wanna know something wierd?
in the manga, legato was always eating sweet snacks! almost every time his face showed up there was a panel where he would be stuffinghis face. i guess eating things like donuts and candy is a supplement to the joys in life HE DOESN'T HAVE. i find this interesting. the anime shows his eating habbits sometimes. but not enough to make a point.
girls do this too, when they get dumped the chocolate cravings begin until they feel fufilled, either that or their pregnant.

Well, I knew Legato ate a ton. Something like pancakes a whole lot, and hot dogs. I sure do wish I knew where I could get some of the Trigun manga, because I haven't seen any of it. I'm thinking that the food Legato eats is one of his joys in life, and his other would have to be taking orders from Knives.

Just because it is my favorite show doesn't mean **** . . . I would have said the same thing about any show for that matter if you said you only watched 2 shows and thought it sucked. The fact you are judging a book (in this case anime) by it's cover is pretty stupid. I'm saying your opinion is wrong right now because you are basing it on only two shows, when there are twenty-six of them. The rest of the episodes offer a whole lto more stuff than what you would have seen in just two. Wow, a whole two damn shows . . . man you must be a great person to know in real life, judging something off of knowing very little about it. I'm sure you have a "life" there. Do your so called friends just put up with you because you have no friends, or do you force them to be your friends? And if you would have actually watched more of Trigun, you would have found in it what you were looking for . . . but you jump to conclusions on something so fast that you do not have a chance to fully observe all it has to offer.
