Hey yay, you still watching Monster? I'm on ep 28 now. Episodic, but also with an overarching plot, nice balance.

alright, by Loli's request, I'll spoil this next comment...
And sorry to spoil, but I'm pretty sure Riza doesn't die. Not that I remember exactly, but FMAB is shonen, so main characters that we like generally don't die, aside from Hughes...:(

Good gawd, what happened to this thread?
http://www.fandompost.com/forums/showthread.php?7814-Strike-Witches-(Season-2)
It went from being about Strike Witches 2 being listed on the US Amazon to an argument about importing anime as someone outright said they'll stick with importing the Japanese release.

Sigh, why must things like these continue to happen?

Only thing I got out of that thread was one of the member's avatar :dopey:.

Hanasaku Iroha 👍

I know...

I'd be pretty damn surprised if Riza died.

Anyway... Haven't really watched any Monster since I started FMAB, but yeah I'm still watching it. Last episode of it that I watched was 41.

Fixed.

Uh, I wasn't the one arguing in that thread Loli.<_<

Also forgot to mention this, but Sentai Filmworks on the Clannad DVD's definitely are showing old fansubbing habits. There's so many translation notes on-screen.

Also I like how on the back of the discs, I can see the ADV Films name like I can on the discs I have for Maburaho. How on Earth could they have not changed it?

*Sentai Filmworks (Formerly ADV Films.) started out as a bunch of fansubbers and pirates.

Goku dies.
Whoops, guess I spoiled Dragon Ball Z for everybody.

Uh, I didn't say you were, TC.
We agreed you would never speak of that again.

I spoil one death and it haunts me for the rest of my life...

We agreed we'd never talk about what happened on your stream that one night... Not about that :P

Also, glad I have that much of an impact on your life :D

Edit: yeah, you spoiler, I was just about to watch DBZ...
You now have every single season of DBZ spoiled for you 👍

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

How could you?!
I just ruined 291 episodes for you, awesome!

I love how Goku's death at this point is practically not a spoiler. He died in like episode 5 (Came back to life like 20 episodes later.), and the episode title even mentioned he was going to die.

BTW, judging from these two posts on the [as] boards, seems it's true they forced Akira Toriyama to keep drawing. Makes sense to me with what he tried doing.

I knew that much about Gohan as it was hinted all throughout the entirety of the series, but I never knew Akira tried to end it on several occasions.

I figured as much concerning GT as well considering it doesn't make a worth of sense and trashes all over Z. What the 🤬 happened to Piccolo?

Can you explain what happened to him? I have seen only episode 1 of GT, and 50 episodes of Z (Original Dragon Ball, just like episode 1.). Don't really mind being spoiled on a series like this.

battosai! nice! where the heck do you come from nk4e? You must live in the Philippines to be posting at this hour. Or else be temporarily unemployed like me.

I can't explain GT without laughing, so I'll do it quickly according to points:

1. I don't remember who uttered it, but the dragon overheard something about Goku being a kid again and granted the wish - thus turning him into a kid.
2. Goku can only resume his adult form via SSJ4, which according to...I think it was Toriyama, was created for no other reason than "The enemies were getting stronger". SSJ4 is, as far as GT is concerned, that of "pure" form and the ascension to this level requires looking at a full moon.
3. Vegeta is possessed by a Tuffle (Bebi) and eventually becomes Super Bebi...or whatever he's called here.
4. There are two Android 17's (one from the past and the other from the future), and they fuse together to make Super 17 - whose defeated by the Dragon Fist.
5. Black Star Dragonballs turn into a nightmare of seven dragons each with their own unique ability.
6. Li Shenron (Omega Shenron in the States), the 1-Star Dragon, henceforth the strongest of the seven starts kicking Goku's ass, Vegeta pops up, ascends to SSJ4 with the help of Bulma...the two of them fuse (Gogeta), and begin toying around with Li but ultimately falls short because despite the original limit being that of 30 minutes, it was effectively halved because of the immense power.
7. Goku defeats Li with a Spirit Bomb, fuses with dragon, leaves Earth in Vegeta's hand.
8. Eleventy years later we see descendants of both Goku and Vegeta participating in a martial arts tournament and that's where it ends.

I left out a good chunk of details because I either can't remember it precisely, didn't care to mention it, or flat out forgot.

I hate GT. It needs to burn in a fire.

Vegeta gets help from Bulma to transform into SSJ5? There was Gogeta ( Fusion Dance) and Vegito( Earrings)

I hope we don't see Toei Animation try to in the future make an anime continuing off those descendants, and then their descendants, and we keep going forever.

Vegeta gets help from Bulma to transform into SSJ2? There was Gogeta ( Fusion Dance) and Vegito( Earrings)

Not 2, he (arguably) did that with the help of that Majin power. He got to 4 with Bulma's Brute Wave satellite thing because something happened to the moon.

Vegito is about the best thing in Z, but ultimately, like every other fusion between the two of them (aside from Movie 12 where Gogeta actually defeated someone) it was just a plot device used to extend the storyline just so Buu could revert back to his "true" form, only to be defeated by a SSJ3 Goku.

The sense - half of the time I just don't see it.

Another thing I didn't care for was that whole legendary super saiyan ordeal; first it was Goku, and then in a movie they essentially go "LOL Just kidding, it's actually Broly whose the legendary one."
