I think it looks sick. Chrysler has to do a good job with this thing. Looks like they're doing well so far.

The Charger is Back... IT. IS. PISSED.

Interesting Ram-like look to the new Charger. Looks a little more angry, refreshed enough to make us believe its an all-new model. I'm interested in seeing the rest of it, especially the interior. Better be nice...

Wow, I LIKE THAT. Now gid rid of that chrome and it would be awsome. Can't wait to see some black on black R/T's running around. More importantly can't wait to see and hear it! :D

What is it with Chrysler and chrome? Normally it's bearable, but that just looks like the owner had at it with a can of Plastikote. Bleugh.

If the crosshairs weren't there, it would look like a new Mitsubishi Lancer.

Wow, it really would...

I've grown to dislike the look of Chargers with chrome grilles. The Daytona and SRT models look so much nicer. And I guess that includes the base models...

+1. I hope there is going to be a Daytona R/T model, that would own with the flat black trim.

Looks like they made a Dodge Lancer. And uglified it. I bet you a dollar the chief designer traced a Mitsubooshi.

One of my only hopes is that Chrysler has the balls to attach a six-speed stick to the Phoenix V6, but I'm willing to bet that it won't happen. Unfortunate, really.

JCE
I hope there is going to be a Daytona R/T model

Especially with some of the old retro throwback colors of the early 70's

Sassy Grass Green
Go Mango
Top Banana
Sub Lime
Plum Crazy
Vitamin C Orange

and so on .........

Who cares about the interior, make the whole thing look that good, give it a stick, and I WILL buy it

Yeah, since the interior is the only thing I see in my car when I'm in my car, I kind of care about it. A lot.

This. Times a million. I don't have to look at the outside of my car, I do have to look at the inside. A bad interior makes unpleasant drives, like the commute to work, even worse.

OP needs update 'cause Chrysler is now owned by Fiat...who owns companies like Ferrari and Maserati. Which, the Maserati GranTurismo has a Ferrari V8 and Maserati has been using Ferrari V8s for a while. Maybe we'll see a Chrysler car with a Ferrari engine. Or, better yet, the ME 412 finally released into production with the Ferarri V12 and 4 Turbos. instead of the Mercedes V12. I think Chrysler will benefit from FIAT's leadership.

The Italian government would probably declare war on Auburn Hills if they made mention of sticking Ferrari parts in any Chrysler. That's like putting a yarmulke on the Pope, it just doesn't work.

Why not, they put a Ferrari engine in a Lanci Stratos, and one in a Dino. Those were sports cars, though... But they put a Ferarri V8 in a Thema... and that wasn't one.

All the more unpleasant as it serves as a daily reminder that you wasted your hard-earned cash on a piece of junk.

From what I understand, it was more, the creator of the Stratos kinda stole some Ferrari V8s for the car. And Ferrari wasn't all that pleased about it. Also, it should be noted that the only reason why the Me 412 hasn't been released is because...ummm...AMG kinda went behind Merc's back to make the quad-turboed Merc V12 (which, it should also be noted, Mercedes hasn't actually used themselves since the CLR and is now being but in cars like the Paganis) and Mercedes was rather unhappy about it as they DID NOT want to outstaged by Chrysler. (248mph estimated top speed...yeah, it would have destroyed almost anything else Mercedes has built.) And, because Daimler-Mercedes was the parent company, Mercedes got their way. And since the 412 has a Mercedes engine, the car probably won't see the light of day unless it were to get another engine. And they could always steal another V12...and a more powerful V12, at that. (The Mercedes V12 has what, 400 or so HP stock, where as the Enzo's V12 has 600+hp stock. Imagine that thing with 4 turbos.)

I agree, but I think that the exterior is really important too. When I turn around to look at my car while walking away after parking it, I want my heart to melt and know that I bought a freaking awesome car. I am always happy when I look back at my GTI. It just makes the car seem that much better. It wouldn't be the same without having any urge to do so much as glance back at it.

Well regardless of it's similarities to the Lancer it's a really nice, refreshing update to the Charger's appearance. I like it!

Cranking Vanilla up to 9000!

So, take the current Sebring, toss on the rather striking clothes that were once worn by the 200C concept, and you get the Chrysler 200. You get the new and updated engines/transmissions, a nicer interior (based on the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, how bad can it be?)... Yeah.

Color me underwhelmed. Especially given how awesome the 200C Concept was.

It looks like a poorly designed SAAB. It'll be crap though since that seems to be the norm with Chrysler now.

Engine choices are a bit meh and seriously? A 4 speed auto? It's 2010, we should be at 5-speeds as standard.

I saw a Sebring minicab yesterday. And with that, its existence suddenly made sense.

Not that we'll actually get this 'new' one, of course. Much as I'd love to pretend I remotely care.

That car was made for one customer; fleet customers.

Those will litter car rental lots across the country and some may be lucky enough to be gov't cars, taxi cabs, or bought up by exporters.

What a dreadful car.

Well ya, it's a Chrysler Sebring and when then make a convertible version it will be the "premium" rental car. But I find a 4-speed in anything new and redesigned to be ridiculous. At least it isn't a CVT...*shutters*

Looks like they ripped off the Hyundai Genesis and the G8. And people were complaining about the Koreans ripping Lexus.

Depends on who its from. Nissan has really gotten their CVT game right with a lot of their new products, but otherwise, I wouldn't choose one if I had an option not to.

I find the current design, as anonymous as it may seem, to be a lot better than several other cars in the segment. And it is worlds better than the old car.

Now we just need to see how the inside looks.

Surely looks weren't the only thing wrong with the Sebring. Since this is basically the exact same car, can we expect it to still be horrid?

Seriously, Chrysler. There was something amazing in the 200C. And all that comes of it is a bumper that gets taped onto the Sebring? I thought they learned their lesson on this stuff when they went bankrupt a year ago.
