Slick Hard 2.04.4
Slick Soft 2.04.4

It ain't no looker either is it?
Expecting GT7 to blow this out the water visually.
Just curious, were these done on fresh tires with the "green" track? Or did you drive for a while on softs then swap to hards while on the same track? Did the conditions (clouds, time of day) change at all? All those things affect grip, for example the longer you and othe cars drive on the track the more "rubbered in" it is, giving you extra grip.

Multiplayer rolling start is severly bugged, it is not smooth and some people start normally while others lag behind.

Also, game should kick players out of the game, if they don't move for 5 seconds. Now I had a race with cars standing on ideal lines through the whole race.

Audi R18 LMP uses Xtrac Sequential, there are lots of ratios available for each gear and usually several final drive, similar to hewland / ricardo offerings. The limitation is more on the real life race regulations which often limits the ratios used. I have read the 2014 ACO LMP regulations, no limit of ratio range specified, but the number of forward gears must be less or equal to 7.

For 2014, Xtrac specific LMP1 transmission with 13:46 to 19:39 straight cut gear ground final drive ratio are available as standard offering. A lot of range for adjustment for the final alone. While for 1st and 2nd layshaft gears are integral, and 3rd to 7th are slide on with a wide range of available ratios. The 3rd to 7th can be from 13:26 to 25:24 based on Xtrac typical gear ratios.

For the BMW 1M, in real life one can fit hewland or xtrac sequential box or other aftermarket offerings, lots of ratios to choose from, money is the limit.
Xtrac was introduced in 2012. The car in game is 2011.

No aftermarket parts in the game.

USB 2, but that has nothing to do with anything.

The game is broken. I think it's a physics bottleneck or something. The brakes are rubber-banding the car, not slowing it down.

Here's video:

Wow that looks horrible. I mentioned USB 2.0 because I've noticed a number of people had controller issues, but resolved them by switching from 3.0 to 2.0 so it was worth a mention.

1. Received a 1200 second penalty for cutting a corner. Pretty much ruined my race. Lol.

2. Having to change the HUD layout every time I start a new race or session is annoying. We should be able to save this setting once.

3. Changing the livery on a car is something I only just found out how to do (in my garage). Why isn't this option available on the main car selection screen?

Wikipedia often do not have complete information, in early 2011 R18 TDi Ultra LMP1 already use Xtrac which have electrical control, the changes in 2012 are in the housing material and improvement of hardware.

No aftermarket ? Then gear ratio should locked.

How about you provide your own link then to the 2011 specs and specific gear ratios that were available? Kind of how things work here.

Track: Oulton Park Full
Car: Ginetta G55 GT4
Glitch: My brother was playing the game, so he had the steering assist on and when the race started, the car began veering towards the pit wall. It crashed against it and began grinding along it. He restarted and the same problem persisted, stating that he couldn't override it. The steering assist system seems broken on this section of the track.

How about no. You can read technical articles on the 2011 car available on the net. For gear ratio, the Xtrac gear ratio are not widely publicized and LMP1 gear ratios are custom/specific build for each customer. I only have access to some of their gear ratio ( bevel sets, pinion, final ) catalog which are often offered across several product line. You can however go to Xtrac site and read some details of the LMP1 gearbox. Here is a clue, P529, P1059 and P1159 transverse series.

A Follow-up:

Lag and stuttering throughout. Watch for the bonus pit bloopers after 6:00

Haha..no thanks. I'm not doing your research for you.

That is truly awful. They had better put that to the top of the list. How could that possibly get past QC?

If you want to know what it is. It is the tickrate of the game that goes down when you're braking (or going off-road) and that goes back up when you stop braking. It seems like it is directly related to the vibration of the controller. Put the FFB at 0, it should fix your issue.

You've got to be kidding me. If that works, I'm going to fall over.

Probably because it is a bug only a minority of people had. Thats was problem I had for ages when using my controller, but the devs didn't seem to have any issues.

Now, let's hope they fixed that soon since there seem to have more people with that issue.

Son of a bitch, it works. Thanks, @c172fccc!

Just wondering, are you using a ps3 controller with motioninjoy?

Car got stuck sideways at the pit entrace at Spa. The AI just went forward and reverse throughout the entire race, slowly destroying the car.

HUD/View bug I've found XB1 version
When switching to in car view the HUD mirror will disappear, it can be cycled back through however if this button isn't mapped you're stuck.
Also I've found that every time i shut off the xbox and restart the game My view gets set to bumper
I had same bug on ps4 and had to map a button to get the hud back.

I was trying to record a replay with Nvidia Shadowplay. The game crashed and when i restarted the game, I lost all my career and every setting. Fortunately i didn't have much of a career going and i remember all my settings for each car

Well, this game is unplayable for me. Is anyone else experience tremendous lag during braking? Every time I come off the brakes or come onto the pavement after being on the grass, the car lurches forward and the track goes into fast-forward mode as if it was catching up following a major lag spike. What the hell is going on?
I've had this happen at spa in a single player game I set up. 10 lap with no aids except no wheel lock on ps4. 3rd corner after long straight. Braked then it was like online lag and next thing I've jumped off track hitting wall.

I've had no Stig audio all night (quick race). subtitles there though. on a side note he berated me for doing inconsistent lap times when I was only a tenth out! talk about busting my balls...

There was answer for this in another thread. Set force feedback to zero.
Actually, check a few posts above here.

Monza, Euro TC Cup(?), PS4

Blew my engine on the 6th lap and got the 'Keep Calm and Race On' trophy.

The condition for this trophy is: Crashed on or before the first corner and went on to win the race

Clearly, I never done this.
