If I undertand correctly, no it isn't a bug, but it could be more convenient, yes... You can't plan to put less fuel than what you set for the start of the race in the pitstop strategies menu in the box. At least it's the same as you on my side.Oh yeah, one more thing:
Bmw230 Turbo, Hockenheimring Short , 10 laps 90 min Qualifying , 24 Cars , 2 random weathers 2x, real fuel and tyres:
First i thought the car Feels very Low on grip , then i noticed i was running on just 10 Liters , Barely enough to Do 2 laps , so i went back to the pit and to the pit stop settings. After i raised it a Bit IT was snapping to 90 Liters and couldnt go back
Is this a Bug? Is the initial fuel related to Race lenght?

Don't you have overheating and pitting issues after couple of stops like I described on the previous page ?PS4 career again - During the rolling start in the Euro-Championship series cars crash into each other and pretty much just disintegrate, parts everywhere on the track.
This is the third season I'm doing of this particular championship, the other two seasons were fine however.

Or am I missing something ?
That's what I thought the first time but every single time I pit I check the settings and I ask for slick tyres. This sounds like the pit manager gives you rain tires.
Holy cow, youre doing a realtime 24hrs Le Man allready? Thats ballsy, man. I hope it doesnt crash..That's what I thought the first time but every single time I pit I check the settings and I ask for slick tyres.
I'm carrying on with my Le Mans race, I'm not sure the tyres are too affected by the overheating, I kept pushing for 30-40 minutes stints and although I'm slower than at the start of the race, tyres didn't blow up and grip isn't perfect but seems ok.
8h23 remaining but I lost several positions in the process, 8th/9 in class now.
Looks like a "physic freeze". It happens sometimes (very rarely) and afaik, nobody found a good way to reproduce it.

I'll check next time I have the issue because in the night time it's hard to see the tyres and the sun probably won't rise again until the end of the race because clock is on real-time despite the race being 50% in time. Long story short I think the race will end by 3 or 4am in-game time.I'm not saying you chose the wrong tire but it looks like you got the wrong one.
Please check the instant replay and check if you have slicks on or rain tires.
Replying to myself here. I couldn't stand to see a lap time of mine on a leaderboard with ABS and stability assist on where it doesn't belong so I ran a few laps and beat my time to erase the dirty memory Feels even better without the stability control too by the way, more direct control. After putting in a bunch of laps in the shifter kart last night, I went to check the leaderboards on my pc and put my cursor over the + sign to look at assists and discovered that both stability control and ABS were on. I chose "pro" mode when I started and assists are set to "real life" which leaves traction control, stability control and ABS locked and greyed out. Why would stability and ABS be on a kart if real assists and pro mode are chosen? I know now that I have to manually turn it off but I shouldn't have to
haha actually quite handy if the puddles are only on the left side of the track 👍Just done a solo race at Donington in the Formula C with mixed weather....Race started with rain, and my car had wet tyres on the left hand side and slicks on the right hand side............ PS4
I would map a button for HUD (I personally have one mapped at all times). The reason being is that there's an issue with HUD switching from one with virtual mirror to the one without virtual mirror. Didn't see any problems with it disappearing though, but in your case gives even more reason to have a button.A lot of weird things happened to me on the very first race weekend of my career. Practice went off without a hitch, but when I started up qualifying my HUD disappeared. No big deal honestly because my lap times were displayed right in front of me in my Clio, but in cars that don't display lap time, that could really irritate a lot of people.
Race 1 of the weekend again featured no HUD, but there was also no vehicle sound. My race engineer was still coming through loud and clear and the audio was fine after the race and in the replay, but there were no vehicle sounds during the race. Race 2 of the weekend had audio, but the HUD was once again missing. I checked the options and the HUG somehow turned itself off in between practice and qualifying. Really disappointing because I'm REALLY enjoying the driving in this game. The bugs are just a serious downer.
The HUD bug is because you probably used the spectator mode or something like that in practice, just go in the options in the main menu to re-activate it. And the sound bug is a well known one, if you reboot the game it fixes it.
These aren't very severe though, not like the ones that prevent you from finishing a race after spending 4h *cough* *cough*
I hope a patch is coming for the PS4 soon too !
Its rare for games to launch without day 1 problems this gen. After reading the replies between the PS4 and X1 in here I am glad I held off from purchasing this. Too many games being released unfinished this gen. Once these problems are fixed, I am sure this will be a great sim game for consoles.Maybe they accidentally released an Old version of the game ?

NoIt's stupid, but did anyone else notice that the letters change on your contract offers when you scroll back and forth between them? PS4, started in Karts. 2 contracts, 1 from Dark Nitro, and Torque something. The letters will both change from one of numerous pre-signature statements. From Sincerely, to all the best, looking forward to hearing, if you're interested, etc etc.
Definitely a bug, I had exactly the same story but in another series, now I press continue to race THEN I exit.PS4 - first round of Ginetta Juniors championship at Oulton Park, AI @ 80%
Session ended and had qualified in fifth. Wanted to exit the event to do something else before the sprint race so exited the event - was asked if I wanted to save progress and definitely pressed yes.
When I went back to the calendar later, qualifying was still available (had not saved progress) but went to race anyway and started in 20th.
Now I have written it out, this may not be a bug and may just be me not saving stuff
Other than that, been relatively bug free and really enjoying it 👍
