I don't have the cut off problem, at least not yet, but I do have one in Career/Clio Cup where the steering sticks on a full
right input and will not return, even if you go full left.
It is somewhat intermittent, but will do it generally at least once if not more every three laps.
Does not matter if the car is moving.
If you stop the car and swing the chase cam to the left where you can observe the front wheel, it will stick about one out of six swings from full left to full right.
Since I just started the game yesterday, I haven't tried other cars to see if it is across the board.
Will be trying that tonight.

Any idea on a narrower time frame for this?
The patch was given to Namco yesterday, I think. This takes 1-2 days for them to check for major new bugs. After that it goes to MS, and probably at least 2-3 days for them to test. Since they don't work on the weekend, I bet next Monday or Tuesday is the earliest you'd see it.

I don't like how when the game knows there's going to be rain in the first few laps it automatically puts you on wet weather tyres, completely ruins the strategy element of when to pit - and not to mention you spend a few laps with ridiculously overheated tyres in the dry.

Even if you're doing race only online, we should still get 30 seconds or so in the pits to sort out setups, tyre choices etc.
You can do that. In the lobby settings set the "warmup" time for 5 minutes or more. Should be plenty of time to do what you want.

Thanks for the reply.
Hopefully it will address this issue.

There seems to be a pretty nasty invisible wall on the exit curbs of turn 2 at Zolder. But only the AI seem to be able to hit it, i tried and tried to hit it myself but just couldn't. Forumla C Euro season race 2 of the season. All through practice, Qualifying and the Race any time they would go near the curbs they would hit something and literally stand on end, front wing planted to the floor, wheels and wings thrown everywhere. Only 4 of the AI finished the 12 lap race because of it. I'm about to start the 25 lap main race... Reckon I'm on for a podium.

Someone else noticed the AI always has DRS engaged in Formula A ? There are very few corners where it turns it off but that's really dumb ! Just look how sloooooowww they are in turn 3 at Barcelona !
And it doesn't seem they are particularly quick on the straights either.

I thought it was talked about a little while ago, that the AI DRS is visual only. I can't for the life of me remember which thread it was, but i read it here. One of the WMD guys will know for sure.

PS4 :
Track :Zolder
Car :Formule C
Race against the AI is almost not possible .:boggled:

EDIT : As i said that the formula C was no good at Zolder , i just did a race with the Ford Zakspeed Capri Group 5 and the AI , i had a goooood race waaaaw :D:tup:

After driving the Boss 302R into a wall and losing a wheel, my pit crew instructed me to drive back to the pits... on 3 wheels...

After crashing the Formula A into a wall at Azure Coast, all buttons on my T300 stopped working and I had to restart the game.

Honestly, I don't crash that often! I just got the game yesterday!

I see, that explain why they are slower than me on the straights, but it's funny the DRS closes in tight corners. So the AI is just slow on that turn 3 at Catalunya.

Probably already mentioned, but not in the OP so whatever.
Another tiny thing, but they misspelled 'corners' in the 'slow and fast bump' explanation guide.

Also, in the karts, if you step on the gas, you'll see your drivers foot move in correspondence, but not for the brakes.

Just finished that 25 lap main race at Zolder. It rained. Hard. So hard i had to put a set of extreme wets on. I was last and lapped by the winner who set a lap time faster than my dry qualifying time... whilst on slick tyres. In a thunderstorm.

The invisible wall also made a return.

Yeah well I played around with the settings and I'm 90% sure nothing in the real world can explain this apart from a bug in temps or another bug that puts me tyres I didn't request (e.g. wets when I ask slicks).
Were you able to check which compound you ended up with because that could easily happen with rain tires on a hot, dry track? Has it happened more than once?

The format is HH:MM:SS.0 (with the number of zeroes depending on how many decimals you want to show), so what the time is showing is 1 minute 17 seconds. The bug would be that there are no decimals displayed.

Why would the format for lap times be in hours though? No lap takes more than 59 minutes.

Yes it happened twice as I stated in my linked comment, both times with the LMP2 Marek (at Brno then at Le Mans) and no I couldn't check the tyres because it was night when I had the issue but I'll try to check next time. It only happened in long races when I stopped more than 2 or 3 times in the pits.

I'm planning to do a 6h race on Road America in career mode tomorrow so I'll keep an eye on it.
If anything goes wrong I guess I'll have to definitely leave the seat to my teammate Bobby the dummy :dopey: who doesn't care at all about overheating tyres.

That's weird but I can confirm format is HH:MM:SS but I never saw tenth displayed though.

PS4: Pre-race tuning screen does not save & apply settings. When I select a tire compound and then re-enter the screen, the game seems to have forgotten what I chose and returns to the default.

Also the pit box occupied notification does not appear until I am in the pit lane. Not very useful at that point.

I have the same but only for tyre compound, other settings are properly saved for the current track.

It was probably mention already (and this happen twice already) but during the loading screen right when it was about to be done loading it kicks me out and says error. It happened twice and it was during my career mode races.

It doesn't matter how many races you win in a row, your fan-chat will always remark about winning 3-in-a-row.:yuck:

Somehow managed to qualify 4th and 12th in the same session, then the game crashed.

Is anybody actually looking at any of these bugs or is this just a list for people to laugh at?

Still plugging away in the Formula C Euro. Tyre wear at Hockenheim is Brutal. Had pole by a mile. Finished 10th, unable to put 3 corners together after 10 laps of the 28. Set a new record for half spins i think.

A small thing to report, but my overalls and helmet change from session to session. Practice one - Red overalls, White helmet. Practice two - Blue overalls, Red helmet. Qualification and the race. Audi overalls with a Senna-ish Helmet.

It would help if they would open up their WMD forums to the general public wouldn't it? 👎

PS4, Caterham Academy with Caterham Seven Classic.

"Crashed" into nothing a couple of times during qualification.

Was going to watch the replay of the race, but race never started in the replay. The cars never left the grid.

that happened to me, had to take drastic evasive manoeuvres which cost me 3 seconds that lap! couldn't use the request button either as it was a mandatory stop.

does this mean the patch will be pushed for PS4 and PC (Sony, Steam?) respectively as well? Can we expect the patch maybe next week on the mentioned platforms?

I've encountered a few bugs today.

1: In a free practice session with a Lotus 49 I crashed and lost the front right, hit start and go to pits, then go back out on track, and my wheel was still missing, but the car was behaving as though it was there, so visually only it was missing. I found it kinda funny, so I purposely smashed off the other front wheel, went to pits, back on track, and managed to knock off the rear right. Was driving around after that, hot lapping the nordschleife with one wheel lol. I'll try to knock them all off next time.

2: Saved a replay from the Caterham classic series in career, but can't watch it. When I click on it, it just says "an unexpected error has occurred" and prompts me to report it to Sony, then after submitting the report, I'm on the ps4 menu out of the game.

3: I won a superkarts race, having lapped about half of the field, and after I crossed the finish line, the results came up, and it had the drivers behind me on track as having finished behind me in the race. So the guy I lapped on the last corner, lets say he was 6th (I can't remember exactly, but he would've been 5th or 6th), it said he finished second, 1.8 seconds behind me, and the four or five drivers I didn't lap, finished in the last four or five positions. Obviously it didn't affect my race, but I kind of felt sorry for them lol.
