Bug 1:
250cc Superkart Round 1 @Brands Hatch GP

The game won't properly recognize my wheel and/or pedal(s). I first noticed this after I returned to the pits during the practice session. The car wouldn't shift properly (I'm driving Gran Turismo style with the auto clutch), it kept stalling.

I restarted the game, replugged my T300 and while it would use my steering wheel properly, it didn't recognize the brake pedal.

I have been playing all day in the 125cc karts and the Focus RS race @ Sonoma Raceway with (excluding the following bugs) no problem up to that point.

Bug 2:
The game will sometimes not recognize the L2 button when going through the button config, R2 has always worked.

Bug 3:
The first bug I found, I did a practice session in the Focus RS @ Laguna, I went into the pause menu to look at my options I attempted to exit and when it gave the warning about not saving my changes the whole game froze along with my wheel. I had to grab a controller and stop the game from the PS Menu.

More to come I'm sure.

When using a controller and the Microsoft Xbox Stereo Headset, the headset audio sporadically cuts out. Seems to be tied into the vibration. Unplugging the headset and using normal audio resolves the problem.

Problems with formula B again.

My opponents are pitting for intermediate tyres in a completely dry / sunny race at azure GP.

Sprint race - 10 laps - no pits needed - real tyre sim.
I was in 8th place, all 7 drivers in front decides to pit on the last lap...gifting me a victory.
Pretty much every race in Formula B is either bugged, crashes or has some race ending glitch.

Possibly the smallest error in the thread: On the Zonda Cinque Roadster, the Horatio Pagani signature on the passenger side is reversed. Shot taken on Xbox One.

.... uhm.

In the previous race I used ctrl+k to move my camera around from chase cam. I hit crtl+k again to "lock" the view. Next session I switch into the helmet camera and this happens. All the other views were fine except for this one. Idklol

I just blew my engine in round 4 race 1 (Oulton Park) in the Clio Cup so paused and skipped to end of session to find I had been awarded the race win!

I was getting some weird behaviour with my t300 when my controller was plugged in, everything seemed to stop being weird when I entered the ps menu with the wheel and then returned to the game, which was pressing down the quick menu silver switch. It was like doing that gave priority to the wheel.

Although this video looks fairly unremarkable, the car in front (which I crash into) should have been a orange MPC12, we were having a pretty good race but for some reason the whole reply has the RUF instead.

Also that was 8 laps into the race, I had to fast forward to get that clip but when played back in real time the whole video looks slower and not as fast as it should be in real time.

And that's why the "reflection" is in the exact same place that the light would be? Right...

If it was a reflection then wouldn't it appear if ther was no damage?

Not necessarily a bug or an error, but they should make the host more obvious in an online lobby. There are a lot of occasions where the initial host leaves, and I'm willing to bet most people don't know they've been given the host power when it switches.

Highlighting the player who's host in green (or any colour) would be a lot clearer than what we have now.

Apparently we were lapping Silverstone in 1.17s.

The format is HH:MM:SS.0 (with the number of zeroes depending on how many decimals you want to show), so what the time is showing is 1 minute 17 seconds. The bug would be that there are no decimals displayed.

Yes mate, and also if you could see your friends lobbies in order to join them would be good too!

Rear ended in multiplayer - got disqualified for catapulting into a car the had spun sideways in front of me.

Clio Cup, round 3, race 2:

I was in the top 10 and then the AI started pitting for their mandatory stops on lap 2 and I went instantly to 20th place. that's not even possible.
then as I came out of the pits and passed some cars I was still in 20th. restarted and this didn't happen again.

also in the same round my T300 started clipping even though I had my usual car setup in place. got the white line in the telemetry box.

and to top it all off I got disqualified on the LAST LAP(!!!) because I had to go off track due to a shunt.

I swore at the TV.

Online PS4 - driving Azure Coast in the Audi GT3 and the tyres did not warm up at any stage during the race, it was like driving on ice for the entire thing.

Did you try tuning for tire heat? Close the brake ducts to heat up the brakes more and transfer heat to the tires? Lower the tire pressure to increase the contact patch and generate more heat?

No tuning, but this seemed to be a bug more than anything. I haven't had this problem on any other track.

I haven't driven the track but in real life it's not easy to keep the heat in racing tires. They are designed to heat up to and maintain the right termperatures while going full out on a race track with lots of corners. If the Azure track doesn't have a lot of tight corners, or they are too slow or too fast and not really scrubbing in the tires, or you aren't yet able to go at 10/10ths due to not being familiar with the track, then they won't gain and maintain heat in the same way they do at a racetrack. I'd suggest messing with the tire pressure and brake ducts to see if that helps but it just may be that the nature of the course doesn't lend itself to tires heating up.

It seems that tyre temp is buggy because after the supernatural overheating problem, now cold tyres are reported too...
BTW in GT3 tyres are pre warmed no ?

I'm just out of a race at Sonoma in the US Endurance series in career mode and I had a nice demonstration of AI weird behavior. Basically there were 30 cars at the start and about 13 or 14 at the end, because after 30 minutes half LMP1 and 2 retired probably because of overheating engine (and I thought I was the one who had a tuning issue). A lot of GT retired and those still carrying on were really struggling with the rear tyres possibly overheating too, spinning in every corner. I lapped several tyre flat cars crawling to the pits, about one every 3 or 4 laps !

AI is apparently not capable of setting a tuning (not necessary surprised) and moreover to pit when it has to ! How many time did I say to myself "Why this guys doesn't pit, he's all over the place because of his wheel spin !".

Results : 2 LMP1 (including me), 1 P2 and about 10 GT3/4 survived to Sonoma.

That was a weird race really. :odd:

Not necessarily buggy in all cases. Many of the rules that apply to driving "sims" like GT, like tires magically gaining optimal heat levels that they never seem to shed no matter how you drive, don't always apply here. There are real world explanations for some things that may also apply to the game and bear investigation before leaping to false conclusions. Tuning options exist to manage tire heat and they are also worth looking into.

What is the supernatural heating bug by the way?

Xbone user. The game keeps turning my console off mid race. Combined with the well documented steering issues I think I'm binning this one as a bad loss of fifty quid. Back to Forza until this game is stable enough to let me complete a race event.

I don't have the cut off problem, at least not yet, but I do have one in Career/Clio Cup where the steering sticks on a full right input and will not return, even if you go full left.
It is somewhat intermittent, but will do it generally at least once if not more every three laps.
Does not matter if the car is moving.
If you stop the car and swing the chase cam to the left where you can observe the front wheel, it will stick about one out of six swings from full left to full right.
Since I just started the game yesterday, I haven't tried other cars to see if it is across the board.
Will be trying that tonight.
I am using the controller.

First XBOX patch coming soon:

- Issue where cars would garage into closed garages in Zolder
- Console TT is now set to 11am to match PC
- Re-enabled saving of Community ghosts
- Added ABS brake rumble to XB1 triggers
- Changed XB1 pad rumble to only update during the per frame tick and not at 600hz
- Use absolute acceleration values for blending and updating steering movement to prevent negative direction
- XB1 trigger rumble scaled along with FFB rumble. XB1 analogue stick range corrected to use full extent
- The driver can no longer be switched in MP races and time trials
- Fix for NULL pointer protection when accessing ProximityDetector GUI

Any idea on a narrower time frame for this?

I don't like how when the game knows there's going to be rain in the first few laps it automatically puts you on wet weather tyres, completely ruins the strategy element of when to pit - and not to mention you spend a few laps with ridiculously overheated tyres in the dry.

Even if you're doing race only online, we should still get 30 seconds or so in the pits to sort out setups, tyre choices etc.
