Where is it located ?
I did the 24 hrs without hitting invisible wedges.
I did hit a tirewall though...

Just after the first kink on the Mulsane Straight right in the middle of the left hand lane :-(

Just note a couple of things:
1) I have always been in the Audi R18 LMP car
2) Have been overtaking or have just overtaken an AI car in a similar vehicle.

It still makes me cringe every time I go past these invisible walls waiting for them to jump out at me.

It only shows your position in class, that's been consistent for every multiclass event I've been in (be it two or more classes).

So I thought. Maybe they could update the UI with an option to display the overall standings as well. It's nice to know where you are in a race, specially in the longer ones.

Maybe in the race only ?
Now in Sonoma (which is also multi-class), in practice and qualifying, the hud shows ALL cars. Still have do to the race.
And what would be the reason for only 6 cars being displayed in the race results ?

You're right I forgot that in practice and qual you see your position in regard to all cars, in the race and results you only see your class.

Having the option to see both would be the ideal.

For anyone having trouble online, at least on the PS4 version it may be worth starting by looking at your connection. I'm now able to host 16 player rooms (was limited to 12) and can join more rooms that have already started qualifying by setting a static IP for my PS4. I didn't have to open ports, but there are guides on how to do this too - youtube has tonnes of them

As you said: in the race you only see position in your class. Just checked that :P
Option to see both should be implemented by SMS.

In which mode ?
I drive a lot there with different cars, never encountered that problem.
I have. sometimes it's not like you actually hit the wall, but there's an invisible barrier right down there at the end that you can feel when you hit it. only a slight nudge but it's there.

Up to this moment I never felt or heard a slight nudge, certainly not as @svenvangent states "Boem ..."
But maybe I am comparing to what happens when leaving the box in Zolder: BOEEEEM, BANG...:D

This mainly happens when I'm at either California highway or Azure.

But the game suddenly freezes, than unfreezes and I end up crashing into a wall.

This is even more annoying when I have completed about 70% of the course and am on a clean run.

Sorry....forgot to mention my fault . It was with the Alpine LMP 2 .It dosend happens when leaving the pit-garage but it happens at the end of the pit in the turn on your left side off the wall .

So, I am pretty certain now that my CPX adapter has gone bad. For the first time, when I plug my rig into my PC it exhibits the same behaviour as the PS4 and since the T300 works great and I just put on brand new elite pedals this week, it leaves only the CPX as the culprit.

Online
Track - can't remember
Car - RUF GT3
Problem - AI in race lagging/sliding all over the place, smashing everyone off the track.

Zolder
RUF GT3
Half way through the race, the AI parked up at the side of the track for a picnic.

Fanatec GT2 wheel not working at all with G25 pedals in Project CARS.

EDIT: Not a bug, you just need to recalibrate the pedals is all.

I'm also using a CPX adapter and am now starting to have some issues. The day before the 1.4 patch for PCars everything was working perfectly, once I downloaded the patch, I was unable to calibrate my break pedal. Thinking it might be an issue with the CPX, I plugged my wheel (T300) into my PC & used the Thrustmaster profiler to check what was going on. I had heard to use the T300 on PC it must be in PS3 mode, so I did that & all pedals, buttons & wheel inputs worked fine. When I went back to my PS4 & PCars I had the same problem the break pedal wouldn't calibrate. The only way I could get it to work somewhat was to put my wheel in PS3 mode (which is not ideal as it functions on PS4 as a T500 when in PS3 mode) but this resulted in very little Force Feedback.
I have only been using my wheel, CPX adapter & Fanatec Clubsport pedals since the release of PCars & everything was perfect until the patch was released & as everything works perfect on PC I'm of the opinion that the issue is related to the patch and not the adapter, but your post now has me even more puzzled.

For me, the problem was intermittent from launch. Granted I had zero issues playing GT6 (I've since sold my PS3), but in all it's always a headache and hassle just to get things setup properly. If my new replacement CPX adapter doesn't fix the issue, I'll bump my thread about the issue on their forums here. I think it would go a long way for you to also mention your issues so they don't think it's just me and I'm incorrect in my descriptions, etc.

Thank you for the link, I will certainly add my experience to that thread, hopefully a solution can be found.

Apologies if already mentioned but career mode race 2 Oulton Park Clio Cup pit as required, try to put intermediate tyres on (slight rain) and when I hit the track it appears like I'm missing a set of front tyres??? Sparks are flying out of the back of the car all 4 tyres are gleaming red, cars a sitting duck in the middle of the track and won't drive. I restarted the race and tried putting full wets on instead and that worked fine anyone else encountered similar?:boggled::crazy:

PS4 :

Car :Zakspeed Ford Capri Group 5

Track :Road America

AI issue 80/90% , third turn/bend they crash in to each other and randomly they do the mambo jambo with me .

Greets .
