Invitationals from DLC not unlocking (paid for that and common issue on pcars forum).
To unlock invitational events you have to restart the career from zero... which won't be the case..
 
I am having trouble with my gearing on my TH8A. Since the new patch, my higher gears are not working properly. I knows it's not the shifter as it works fine with other games. I also have mapped all the gears on my PC and on pcars.

My TH8A is working fine (before and after patches)
Just taking a pause from te Green Hell 25hrs (clutch & H shifter) while 4hrs into the race without any issues for now...
 
Don't know if I'm going mad but whenever I boot the game the car highlighted in the car list is a RWD LM car, no matter what car I used before I turned the game off. I'm sure the game used to start with my last driven car selected instead. But now I can't remember...

It's happened to me once, the other night I loaded the game and noticed that's what was showing at the top of the screen as the car I was using ... and knowing I haven't driven one yet, I'm gradually working my way up from the slower to the faster cars (and currently obsessing over the GT3 cars to see which I like best :D) ..... I had wondered if someone on my friends list had hacked me to play my games remotely :crazy: lol, so I'm glad it's not just me :mischievous:

Yeah I'm sure it's a new bug for me. I haven't used that car yet either but it's been the default car ever since I bought the Audi DLC. bizarre but unsurprising.

yes from zero, loosing all your actual progress.
I find out that also the DLC from the limited editions works only whe starting a new career.
So next DLC, you'll have to start again...

On the official forum now there are tons of people with this issue. I'm uploading the them my savedate cause they asked me to do so..

Not sure here... you mean that if you have more than 22 podium places in career, the new DLC will not unlock ??

If so, I'm lucky, because I have no problem.

yes, if you have already more than xx podiums, DLC invitational events won't appear in the career mode. Also for the other DLCs. While if you start from scratch they are fine and unlock.

I'm mean only the invitational events of the DLC for the career, not the dlc cars or tracks. If you have into your career mode the invitational mails .. then you are very lucky.

An SMS member asked to send them ps4 savedata and i'm doing so.

EDIT: go an answer from the working team from the official forum. They already received tons of savedate and they are investigating on the issues which is very common.

Ah, OK, I thought you meant the DLC cars and tracks.
I'll check later for the invitationals (now running Green Hell 25hrs)...
 
Since 2.0 I regularly have the issue that my T300 suddenly jolts 45° to the left or right, mostly in the middle of a race. Sometimes when the loading screen completes.

Pausing the game and forcing the wheel in the complete opposite direction fixes it half of the time, but it usually results in an offtrack or crash ruining my race...

Really gutted.

I had that since launch but since 2.0 it only does this when I restart a race, so far never when loading a race. It happens a lot more regularly after restarting that it did before, so much so that I expect it to happen, not the other way round. Annoying.

I'm also losing ease-off engine sounds quite often in the new Audi 90 Quattro (did I tell you guys how much I like this car? :D).

I used to have that before 2.0 kicked in. Since then: no more (T500RS).
From time to time, but very, very rarely, a sudden loss of FFB. Easy to solve: pause/unplug/replug wheel and continue.

No hardship imo, starting career again. It's not as if there are unlockables that you'd lose, but I agree that the issue shouldn't occur

It's been my opinion from the beginning that the career mode is of little or no practical value, due to the absence of unlockables

It sounds almost like if they exchanged the problems of the T500 with the T300...
Before 2.0 I did never even encounter the issue...

@bleeder, would you mind mentioning your issue in the post I opened at the Project CARS forums? I posted it there over the weekend but it's being plainly ignored...:

I have to say i disagree, first of all i paid for the game and do not accept compromises. I can accept issues at launch.. but not testing that a DLC for the career mode doesn't work in the career mode is insane.

Secondly, and most important, there are several accolades and invitational to be achieved. Personally i want to have 111/111 accolades and PSN trophies and all invitational playable. Restarting the career evertime a DLC comes out prevent me from doing this.

Moreover if i want to replay an invitational events, for example the 24h of le mans? i have to restart the career and unlock it everytime?
