Two days in a row career racing.
Last two rounds of GT3 EU season and start of Ginetta G40 series (also two races). All on full time.
No sign of any bug, no crash, no loss of FFB, really nothing to complain about. How' s that for a change ?![]()
If the bugs are hard to track down, that surely somehow only proves that SMS is even more evil, greedy and incompetent than we all thought! For gods sake, they cant even make their bugs easy to track down, cant they do anything right?!![]()

After 19 laps my car turns around for no reason and do little dance so I could see all the corners of the game sky and ground with my car .

Same issue.
Car loses grip for no reason, felt for a moment like something broke. Steering had misaligned and throttle was stuttering. After rejoining track car was unresponsive and dived left without warning. Car danced on the spot and then wheelied. Had to retire. Video: skip to 50s for worst part

Out of 11 drivers, 4 of them had the same bug (as above) all were driving the Ginetta. We also had a pit stop bug where tyres WERE NOT changed.
I also had the "white line" FFB issue that SMS said they had fixed 2 patches ago.
It's a shame because it's difficult enough to get 10+ clean drivers in the same place at the same time to race for 2 and a half hours without bugs like this discouraging them from ever trying it again. It's a slap in the face from SMS for all involved.

I read about it, wondered what they were talking about. since then I have checked so many times (even did complete races with this HUD on and I have never seen a glimpse of this white line. It is supposed to show when the wheel is clipping right ?
If so, you may want to change FFB settings ?
Ah, OK then. Another bad thing that I escaped from...Yes and yes. No, it's nothing to do with my FFB settings, it's a glitch. I didn't have it all through any of the free practice sessions I did in the car the days beforehand. I didn't get it in the practice and qualifying before the race, just when the race started.
My FFB settings are default.
SMS said they'd fixed it.

The white line is the line for canned effects and should only be present when using a controller. SMS did implement a fix and are having trouble replicating the issue on their end. Although I'm enjoying the game with all it faults, they did also say the game was 99.9% finished before release and they were just "polishing it"Didn't they say they'd fixed it though?

I'd be happy if they fixed the bugs and improved the replays which look horrible sometimes on ps4 ( pop ups etc). I'm giving them chance to fix it before I pass judgment. Going off the sms forum they do seem to be quite active in trying to fix things, my only fear is as time goes on and if the game still has problems the 40 or so people working on dlc and patches will be seconded to working on pc2.Exactly

For now this is certainly not the case (limited activity on the PC2 forum/builds), but they're also working on that Red Bull Air Race game and World Of Speed. I am curious how they plan to manage that all.my only fear is as time goes on and if the game still has problems the 40 or so people working on dlc and patches will be seconded to working on pc2.
Its probably gonna end about the same way as well. If they couldn't get them sorted out in the Shift series and they couldn't get them sorted in 4 years of development for Pcars, how they gonna get it sorted now? The madness engine is the problem and if they use it in P2 they will be there too. Your gonna see some of the same issues with their airplane game as well. If it could be fixed they would of done it long ago. These bugs aren't new to WMD members or former Shift players, its the same old same old.Had a fair few freezes and errors yesterday when hot lapping, its like SHIFT2 all over again![]()
Thats not entirely true though. The freezes in Shift 2 were different, I used to have those during development as well - but they solved those. Its a different kind of freezes/crashes, at least those that I m experiencing since patch 3.
