My problem is, I'm racing the GT3 American Championship and I'm at Watkins Glen. The second race (21 laps) starts off as a downpour, the game has me pit on lap two. Then around nine laps in the rain stopped, so I pitted again to get medium tires to catch up. Then around lap 13 it starts to rain again.
This game needs to warn you about weather coming up. Why bother having a guy on the radio if he can't warn me about what weather is coming up. I love the randomness of the weather, but I'd like to have a heads up so I'm not racing on slicks in a downpour trying to get back to the pits, then spin and total my car. Forcing me to restart the race with six laps left........

I would like to whinge at the track cutting, seen loads going on online today. I can't believe this wasn't sorted before release, the time pens in this game are so piss poor, i think they have gone backwards in this area. Don't they know we want fair racing ! its all i have wanted since SHIFT2 as the track cutting in that was shocking too. Is SMS blind to this? GRID AS is still the best in this area.

It is really disappointing. I was really hoping this would be one of the small details that the community involvement would have taken care of. Hopefully it gets fixed in a patch but there's an awfully long list of things to be patched

There needs to be a "monitor" option when the AI takes over driving duties in a race, just like what is available during practice and qualification while in the pits.

I could be wrong, but I assume the logic is: Qualifying + race = long event.

They are, but it's just a thing I've noticed with sim racing. It was no different on Assetto Corsa either, it was almost all GT3 and other race car rooms and very often at Spa and other easy to drive tracks. In GT it was mostly slapping racing tires on every car to make the driving easier. I think the people that actually really enjoy the challenge of mastering quirky and difficult cars is pretty small overall, otherwise they'd be a lot more popular online.

Yeah,it sure seems like GT3 is the online car of choice. We've been tuning Caper cars,loads of fun.
