ABT Audi TT-R DTM Touring Car

Well, here's my first ever entry into the LEC, I hope I didn't screw something up my submission.
Anyway, I always loved the look of this ABT Audi TT car from like '02-'03 season of DTM. I was not sure which variant of the car to create a replica of, so I instead, I created this mishmash of various variants of the car, from different DTM seasons. I also forgot about the tyre stickers, Gr.4 cars don't have tyre stickers like the Gr.3 cars do, so I swapped the Dunlop decals for the Hankook ones. Either way, I hope my mishmash is a valid entry.

An obvious choise for me to be honest, JTC and JGTC are my favourite racing series, so I just had to do something of that series. Add in my obsession with the R32 Skyline, my preference of Advan tires and general interest in everything Japanese and you can only end up with a Team Taisan car

I just saw this now. If you wanna stick to a big Toyota Saloon maybe check out the Chaser JTCC cars and put something together for the Genesis. One of those Chasers was driven by some famous guy wearing a green suit and helmet

The headliner image for this LEC inspired me to do something with the Megane Trophy, especially considering it's one of the few Gr.4 cars with proper racecar bodywork. Also wanted to find something outside of the obvious Laguna BTCC designs, and I came across a few versions of the 21 Super-production that I really liked. Initially I made one based on a red and silver livery, but I didn't like the way it looked on the Megane so I switched to this dark gray/gradient stripe look insteadFINAL ENTRY

I just finished my livery. And my car was driven by some famous guy with red suit and yellow helmet...I just saw this now. If you wanna stick to a big Toyota Saloon maybe check out the Chaser JTCC cars and put something together for the Genesis. I suspect the car you're talking about only wore that livery once, multiple cars also wore basically the same and it was used to do the first actual race on a "new" track?

Nope. Its a different one. Kinda obscure but yeah i gotta do half of it over again cause the game got stuck at 0%. Try to connect the PS to the internet in a different way. Or let it sit in the livery editor for a while because at some point it creates a backup.
I'm a tad confused about the livery now tho
That is if I'm thinking about the same red suited guy with a yellow helmet

Luckily its just the roof and not the full half of the car, phew. But yeah it IS the red suited yellow helmet guy you're thinking of in a touring car but not a mercedes. Its not even rear wheel drive tooTry to connect the PS to the internet in a different way. Or let it sit in the livery editor for a while because at some point it creates a backup.

Any chance to do a JGTC livery is one that has to be taken. My goal was to throw back to the artistic style of the late-90's/Early 2000's Team Kunimitsu liveries, whilst also keeping modern conventions such as the "Ray of the speed" text used nowadays. Hope ya'll enjoy, first time partaking in a comp through GTPlanet so hopefully I haven't goofed in any way lolFINAL ENTRY

Because I’m an idiot my previous submission wasn’t valid as it was a 2017 livery. So after a lot of googling I decided on the 1996 Team Joest ITC Calibra V6 livery as it seemed eye catching enough while giving me a nice challenge to recreate on the Alfa 155.
