That Gif looks like Trump to a Tee. There's no need to be so Rough on him though, we can stop trying to Wedge puns in Putting him down.
The best he could have hoped for was a Draw but now he’s going to Fade away after being a great big Flop.

FYI, I was never looking for an echo chamber but I sure found one here, full of people who still seem to think that voting for someone (Red) rather than someone else (blue) is gonna change anything at all.

Whilst I believe it's true that the American system of democracy means real change is unlikely (as it is here also), I think it's fair to conclude simply by looking at the poll at the top of the page, that people visiting to post or read opinions, aren't just looking for an echo chamber - it's perhaps more diverse in here than the election itself.

I think it's more like "less bad triumphs" rather than "good triumphs".

Disagree. Forget political positions, this is a triumph for fundamental good sense & decency. What happens after that remains to be seen, but going further down the Trumpist road would have been an unqualified disaster for the US.

The ****posting on the main forum page is entertaining. I'm surprised those people haven't disabled profile post responses since they're clearly not interested in meaningful discussion.

I don't understand what you're referring to?

The vote split in the poll on this thread seems fairly reflective of the actual election (other than the number of Libertarian voters). It would seem to indicate that there are a lot of "silent" Trump voters on GTPlanet. I did not vote, as I am not American. I am assuming other non-Americans on GTPlanet did not participate in the poll.

I think he's talking about the nasty string of "profile posts" if you go to the forum main page (middle-right).

Each user has a profile. On that profile, users (bare minimum the user to whom each profile belongs) may post messages of 140 characters or fewer, and 280 if posted on another's profile. These messages appear on the main forum page under New Profile Posts. It's possible the disable others' ability to respond to messages you post on your own profile. People are using that interface to complain about election results without having disabled profile post responses and they're making virtually nonexistent attempts to engage others who have challenged the messages they've posted on that interface.

I think it's cute.

I don't know of a way to "watch" a status without having commented on it. Out of interest, does anybody know more about that?

You may be SOL. I'd probably search a keyword in the original post--making sure to specify profile posts in the search parameters--in order to get a direct link to that message, and then bookmark that link.

I wouldn’t have voted for any of them. Trump hasn’t made America any greater, and Biden’s reminder that he is change doesn’t suffice for me politically.

Learnt something new. :dopey:

There's going to be an unprecedented amount of money thrown into the Georgia Senate run-offs ... although money doesn't seem to have made much difference in this election so far.

I usually use mine for song lyrics or quotes from television and movies...maybe the occasional one-liner...but then I was never passive-aggressive; much more aggressive-aggressive, for sure.

Looking on the bright side. Just because the media says it's over doesn't mean it's over. Trump could still win. Just needs a few votes turned over and he's back.

How great a day is this? Driving this afternoon I passed a Harley with a sidecar ... sitting in the sidecar was a golden retriever, wearing goggles, ears flapping in the breeze & looking smug - you know, the way dogs look when they're out & about on a Harley.

He needs a lot more than a "few". If it was just 1 state separating them like in 2000 he may have a shot, but he would need to somehow turn several, which just isn't happening.

A few thousand. In several states.

The record adjustment after a recount is 1,247 votes, in one state.

Like so many tyrants, ending his reign in a bunker.

He is inspecting the bunker.
He got qualifications at Trump University, He must have gotten his PhD in medicine there too seeing as he thinks he knows more than his medical experts.
