I'm saying are parents forcing their kids to be gay at a young age.

Simple answer is NO.

However I do know of a large number of cases in which parent/adults have tried to force gay people to be straight, an action that has an almost 100% failure rate.

Just shows that some people actually do care.

As heartwarming as parts of the story are, I'd say it shows what the producers of the program wanted it to show, nothing more, nothing less.

If you dress up like a Pink character from a fictional kid's TV show it means you will be homosexual. There is simply no other logical reason someone would wear pink. Ever. Besides being fabulous.

:P

I don't want to feel like you're having your face ripped off for having opinions, but one day you're going to look back at the things you've said, asked and implied, and you're going to think it's ridiculous.

It's not a personal attack on you. I promise. In fact, I'll make it a pinkie promise since I love pink so much. ;)

True story. I think anyone can wear pink. I wear pink. Not really light pink but dark pink. People do have rights to wear what they want. But not to crazy. I've seen a rally where girls fight for allowing to be naked in public. That's really crazy.

Why?

What's wrong with naturism? What's wrong with naked women, for that matter?

That is crazy!!! Where is that?:sly:

Being topless, male or female, is legal in Canada by the way...yes, in public...

I'll try to find the video. It was all females. And yes everything was censored. I remember in the vid all these woman were screaming freedom and cops were pepper sprayingg them and tackling them to the ground.

If it's the same video I've seen, they weren't real cops, they weren't "tackling" them and that most certainly wasn't "pepper" they were spraying everywhere. Might not have been though.

Still, you haven't addressed what's so "crazy" about naturism.

In the US the people who want to publicly practice naturism are rarely the people you want to see practicing naturism.

I've been tricked by late night HBO documentary shows to know better. I'm not concerned about the children, but my eyes.

I didn't say anything wrong about it. But when it snows and its cold outside. I don't wanna hear no complaing from them.

There sure are a lot more ugly naturists by proportion than ugly people.

So it's crazy to campaign for legal naturism because of the weather?

It's probably the parents forcing it on them by making them like White Ranger (or Black or Yellow - your race my vary) though, amirite?

I've only ever seen one topless woman here, it was in Ontario; I was around 10 I think and we were visiting my grandparents and while we were on our way back to their house from Niagara Falls we drove passed a lady with no shirt/bra on. Needless to say I turned around when we passed her to, err, make sure I wasn't seeing things. :sly:

Just thought I'd share.

No I didn't mean that. I'm saying it would be crazy to see a topless women/man outside. I'm used to seeing topless women in bed lol. But I'm saying why would you want to be naked outside when its very windy and cold( now, not forever). I see your logic for the rangers lol.

Why would you want a Budweiser instead of a Sam Adams? Why would you want McDonald's over a Burger King?

Some people just want to do that. They're no more offensively ugly naked than they are when clothed, so what's the problem in letting them have that choice?

You do have a point. Once again I will have to fallback. I can't tell them what to do. Its common sense that's all. If your brain is telling you its cold I would go out in clothes. Same with heat just using a example.

Interesting

In mimicry of Stonewall's "Some people are gay. Get over it." bus-side ad campaign, the High Court has ruled that Core Issues Trust's "Not Gay! Ex-Gay, Post-Gay and Proud. Get over it!" campaign is lawful.

TfL [Transport for London]'s procedures for refusing to run the campaign was also criticised. However, the fact that they refused to do so was not.

To me, it doesn't quite add up.

And?

I don't like Marmite, it doesn't mean that should be banned from advertisements.

I'm failing to see the consistency in saying there was nothing wrong with the advert, but that there was also nothing wrong in banning it.

Some of the poor / hard to understand language made the message unclear (not unlawful? Why the need for phrases like this?) but if I understand correctly, this is about banning anti-gay ads on buses, which pissed people off because pro-gay ads were allowed?

Well, boo hoo. Religious nuts are getting another kick on the balls... :P

I reckon it's not so easy for them to get over it.

It's ridiculous that that advert has been banned because it might offend gay people, so what? They should be allowed to run that advert because it is their opinion. I disagree with what the advert says but I don't see why it should be banned. Authorities are way to quick to jump in to support someone who 'may' be offended by something.

The reasons for banning it were quite clever. They said it made unverifiable claims about "curing" homosexuality which went against advertising standards.

Which is true - you're not allowed to advertise something without evidence that it'll do what it says, which lends itself to hilarious caption on cosmetics adverts.

Like the face creams that used to claim they could make you look 10 years younger.

What would happen if you put those on a 10 year old test subject?
