My average lap times are about 1:36 or 1:37. I don't have steering wheel or VR, i play old fashion, with ps5 controller.
Try the Alfa 4c, it doesnt need to pit (but for this requires manual shifting).

If you manage to keep lap times around 1:36 like that, you should be able to win by a few seconds.

I haven't tried completing the Maggiore One Hour yet with the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept yet, but I have made several attempts with the Corvette C7 Gr.3. From what I've noticed while fiddling with the former, it seems like it has much better fuel efficiency than the latter, so I'll likely try running that rotary in that last race some day. Especially since it's the only one left where I don't have gold -though I've been able to get silver using the Corvette. What's great is that I didn't buy either car - I recall winning the Corvette C7 Gr.3 from another set of missions, while I won the RX-Vision GT3 Concept from a random daily ticket.

Thank you very much for the video. :)

Tried the Tsukuba event for the fourth time, fourth time a charm, started off with RH tires, fuel map set to 3, all assist off, double stinted the tires, pitted getting only fuel, once it started to rain switched to IM, stayed on the same IM for the rest race, only fueling, with about 3 minutes left had to pit to get fuel, with second place about 48 second behind me, when I almost made a major mistake, I hit the button to cancel tires, but hit the button to hard and also canceled the fuel, left the pits with .7 of fuel, ran out of fuel on the back straight, made it back into the pit where I short fueled, went back on the track to win with second place 20 second behind.

I think being just 1 second faster per lap is way enough to even leave the Taycan in the dust. ;-)

Btw I'm on a DS4 and guess what ...
Finally i made it... gold in Deep Forest with the Radical. Stopped with 10 laps left, conserving fuel in the last 2 of 3 laps and pushing in the last one. Thanks guys for everything @ROCKET JOE, @Meythia, @JaK-nz and @KAlex122 . Cheers 👋👍💪🏎🏁

I dont think this has changed and seeing there are still cars beating over 39 laps it cant be too much of a difference to before.

You can easily win both Deep Forest and Kyoto with the same car: 🙂

Switch on the Anti-Lag, use RH/SH tyres.
It's like a glitch: this unlikely swapped car under 550PP dominates even in the 620PP+ category.

I just did this with the '87 AUDI S1 gr. B

Easy win, Two.stops
Thanks for the hint, I won too but with one stop (RH tires).
This car is demoniac and requires 1 or 2 laps to be perfectly handled.
Won with 23 secs.

Has anyone completed the Lake Maggiore 1 hour since update 1.31. What is the best car to use now with the BOP changes? I know the RX vision was pretty good before due to its fuel efficiency but are there faster/better cars now with the BOP update?

I have done it with almost all cars by now (2 not owned, 4 not yet attempted, and 3 didnt finish)
My results

As of today, for me the Toyota Supra GT500 '97 was the fastest.

Easiest car (except the part is mildly expensive to buy and works a lot better on manual) for Deep Forest is the Aston Martin DP-100.

Can go all race on a single tank, just need to stop once for tires and is a lot fast stock + turbo upgrade (easily 3 to 4 secs a lap faster than the Silvia gr. 4) and very driveable even with very worn tires.

Yeah Vielen Dank, I saw your scores and sorry to say but you are definitly in the "Not Human driver" category compares to me

I've silvered the track experience with the 4C at 2:00:771 but still, I can't lap regularly at 1:58 / 1:59.
I've tested the Nissan GT-R '18, the RX Vision (finished 13th^^) and the 911 RSR and I have the best feelings with the Porsche. I think I simply need to improve my driving skills on that track.

BRZ felt like the easiest to drive to me.
Or record a lap with no other cars and lets see how you are doing ;)

Gold in Deep Forest with the Radical. Total 37 laps, stopped with 10 laps left, changing hards to hards, conserving fuel in the last 2 of 3 laps (between mode 3 and 6), pushing like hell in the final lap. Hard tyres.

Here's a Autopolis Honda S660 tune for 1.31. I think its possible to get a 2.16 lap

Thanks for your tunes I was able to get gold on the first two human comedy missions with your tunes and I can't wait to try Autopolis tonight with your new tune! Great videos!

Wow this tune for the S660 is amazing! Not only was I finally able to get Gold, it actually made the car fun to drive and not a boring slug like every other tune I tried.

Fantastic work Jak! Thank again for sharing and creating great content!

I had a fun and easy win with the Mercedes 300 SEL AMG '71

Yes, this is my "screen" :)

Autopolis 1 hour 🥇

Honda S660 - 26 laps (crossed the line at 59:59:58  so I had another lap) in average 2:25 with a PB at 2:23:666.

First post, greetings all. GT7 is my first GT game so learning the tracks is huge. Really appreciate all the input in this thread so far, and been lurking! I just finished the first 7 human comedies gold as soon as only recently acquired a wheel/pedals setup - I was not comfortable trying the races that long on a controller. Playing about two hours a night. half hour to setup, half hour time trial practice, then the race, all on the 1.31 physics update.

I love the varying difficulty and constant staying on your toes. Appreciate the guides which have helped me not waste time on easy races where you should win first try based on bad AI/strategy. Deep forest took three tries because I was driving a car which on the limit could barely pull 1:35, but when I tried the S1, it clicked instantly and I was hitting a couple laps even in 1.33's thanks to the setup guides on here.

Onto Maggiore where the guide is essentially, git gud. I've done about 4 laps total at Maggiore, ever. Meythias exceptional spreadsheet has me looking very hard at 2 stop strategies on either the 1) supra gt500, 2) Beetle, or 3) BRZ. I also am considering a Mazda Vision 1 stop if I can preserve the tires. I did some test n tune with the RSR and the understeer under accel is not really to my liking. My driving style is brake late, throttle early, apex late, so I need a car stronger under braking and low grip accel.

Of the three 2 stop cars, the BRZ is reviewed as the easiest to drive, so I will probably start there, and move onto cars with slightly faster pace per the spreadsheet as I learn the track and push the limits. Considering the track experience too but I hear the RCZ chews tires.

I just finished it today in the RX Vision after a few tries. Basically every corner is a gear higher than the suggested. There's one corner it suggests 2nd but it's flat (should be obvious - I think it's turns 15&16). The biggest thing for me was corners 6,7,8. 6 can be taken a bit early so you can grab all the run off on the left side. 7 has the biggest affect, as you can take the entire white section on the left side (you can get four wheels on the white with no penalty), DONT touch the grass. If you find yourself losing traction after 6&7 towards the end of your stint, turn 8 has a run-off on the right side that comes in handy to maintain speed. Two stops lap 10, and 20, Medium Tires, taking exactly 10 laps of fuel both times.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it's helpful.
I've postponed this race for now but I know I'll have to complete it.
