The " I want a livery editor" thread.

I think that we will have the livery editor in the game, instead of they don't have tell us anything yet...I believe it because of the new "Base Models" that have been revealed yesterday in the official cars list.

Those ones have no other goal that be painted as we want (being in a positive point of view), or maybe (being in a negative point of view), just will permit us put on them a number and the color that we want.. In the trailer we can see the Renault Megane Trophy in black color, and with a number on it.. and I think it's the Renault Megane Trophy Base Model.. Here it is:

What do you think? Do you see it as I see it?

Hum... I didn't notice that Megane. You could be right, but it could be just some random Megane TC car. Something like an RM car as that Mazda Roadster.

I don't think so... It couldn't be a RM or TC because it is EXACTLY the same as the yellow one...

Its exactly the same car. Usually the TC/RM cars have some parts on them that make them different from the real life car they are based upon.

I was also hoping for that after seeing those plainbody-versions... but TBH... I don't think it will be in game... with a livery editor we would need custom colours, and we don't have custom colours...
That makes me really sad, because GT6 did not increase depending on tuning options :'(

So the KW 6-Point Shaker rig, bigger selection of wings and whole bumpers and car parts don't count as them improving the tuning? Since when did liveries count as "tuning"?

Tuning is a word used to describe lot of stuff in automotive world, but it mainly refer to perfomance tuning AND visual tuning, therefore liveries do count as "visual tuning".

Sorry, with Tuning I meant customizing, eg Body Kits or our missed livery editor But since when do we know about bumpers...?
Of course I am happy with the new suspension possibilities and that performance tuning increased...

Looked through the GT6 game picks and cant see any hint of an editor anywhere.....

Also noticed that in the car list there are no RM cars listed, so where there is life, there is hope, in that they havent announced everything........

They have been renamed to things like "Race Car", "LM Race Car" and "Touring Car", in addition to the new base models which are like RM's but actually racing cars.

More like '78 Pontiac Trans Am with the Firebird on the hood and gold trim. But yes, it did roll out like that. Awesome car.

You mean for GT5. Not GT6. Only personalization of the cars has been said about GT6.

He said then that we'll be able to put stickers and things like that.. But he hastn said anything more yet.

I am one of those who would love a livery editor and I think I would spend a lot of time using that feature...but I'm almost convinced that it won't come in this GT game. Maybe in GT7 (I hope so).

Boy, does that bring back some memories - that was a pretty cool movie in the day. I had a 77' T/A I bought new but those cars suffered from the 70's pollution controls (210hp for the 400 cu/6.6 liter motor). Eventually though, within a couple years I build the motor like it should have been in the first place (a little over 425 hp) together with some suspension work - it was a real blast after that!

Yeah Trigger sure is a beaut in that movie. Too bad they replaced it in the second movie. That one is NOT pretty.

All he said was more customization, which some people took to mean a livery editor, but in all likelihood actually means more spoilers, splitters, rims etc.
