The infamous ultimate supercar thread.

Calling names? You just renamed mPWRD as m5 - who I think was someone who was banned from the site. Is there any evidence for this or are you trying to cause more trouble?

(sorry if I missed something)

My main point was that the thread starter is obviously not serious about this. He hasn't provided any proof of his project cars and is avoiding any attempts of people trying to get him to provide proof. I figure whoever it is has had enough fun by now.

Prosthetic, you can go out but I think Smallhorses would be a better person to do that cause if he goes out there and finds out mPWRD is full of it, he can ban him for lying to us all. :D

If it's legit, we've got confirmation from both of you that this exists.

mPWRD, I'm still on the fence on this one with you. The figures you've spat at me make me wonder whether this is a load of it or not......my main concern for you is about reliability first and foremost. 900hp?? Of the six cylinders that you see with that much power, barely any of them have a sense of drivability to them. I mean, for being a 'flipper' and modifier, you should have an idea of how much internal engine work is required to get those figures without sustaining a stupid amount of boost, regardless of the forced induction method.
A simpler method would be to look at your PTW ratio and compare to the others and set a weight limit to yourself and then look at your aero drag. Most supercars range between the 2Kg/hp-3Kg/hp mark (330-500hp tonne) and have the lowest Cd's on the planet. I wouldn't be trying for 900hp personally, I would be looking at this as a more realistic goal for you......keep it at a more-streetable 500hp to 550hp and try to keep weight under 1200kg and match a 911 or F430 for handling. Aim for performance figures minimum of 11's@120mph on the 1/4, over 1.00g on the skidpan, 80mph+ on the slalom, and your 220mph top end. You might see some people then notice your car if you achieved ALL of that.

Since I gave you the Joss last time, another thing for you to look at would be Top Secret's JZA80 V12 Supra (google it). Ripped out the 2JZ, put in a 1GZ (Toyota 5.0L V12), and twin turboed that. Smoky Nagata (Top Secret's owner) was aiming for 250mph, he got to 220mph. And they are one of Japan's top tuning garages, famous for building GT-R's and Supra's to go well over 200mph all day.

:) Its clear he is a fraud. This thread has no point now..

Only way it can be saved is some how...somehow Mr mPWRD comes up with a picture of his car and 3 M engines.

Are you santa?

So does he have a BMW M3 and a 3 engines laying around. If so can you get us some pics since he can't seem to do so.

Hmmm... you know, you guys make me laugh. For one, I posted this thread for those who were interested in building a supercar. And then you guys start bashing my ambitions... charming. And then this goes off on a whole different tangent about the M3 thing. i don't exactly take pictures of the cars i work on, as most of them are sold through people i know. It's interesting... looks like half of you are here just to FIND someone to attack. Very good, guys. That's going to get you a lot of friends.

anyway.... [/tangent]

Seriously. Back to the original topic.

Funny. You rant about us going off topic, then you go off topic in some inane attempt to remove the huge amount of doubt currently sitting on you.

You linked us to random pictures from very very different hosting sites. Of different cars. Claiming they were your own. We can assume you have a cell phone, most of which every single phone has a camera. Take a picture yourself, post it up. Would take less time than some of your poorly thought out defenses against the rather straight forward criticism.

Ah, ridding of cars to dispense of the evidence. Did you wrap them up in carpets and dump them in holes in the woods?

Read my above post, think about it, stop flaming.

I did read it. I wasn't flaming. I could flame you, but I'd rather not deal with the trouble that would develop.

So, having read the above, you basically said you sell cars through friends, but you still didn't say anything about the M3, which last I checked you claimed to currently have. Along with two more engines.

Sorry, this is the internet, we like some random proof when someone starts talking so big, and you are failing hard at pretty easy to provide stuff. And I do mean really hard.

Standard procedure from here, mPWRD. I don't believe you own an M3 and a bunch of test engines.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=61433

Don't you just love it? Seeing as how this is a community based around a Racing Video Game, we often get the excitable members that like to make ludicrous claims. Yes, you've seen them.

"I've got a 700hp Supra that's a daily driver"

"I've got a Mustang slammed on 20's that'll smoke anything you've got"

"My dad drives a 600hp Porsche"

"I drift a Skyline"

"I drag a 685hp mustang"

The usual claimant is in their early teens and loves to quote rear wheel horse power and dyno charts and $6000 in suspension upgrades, among other fabrications. Along with this comes the attitude/ego to match the size of the engine Horsepower.

In three years here, I've seen some fantastically fun ones. I'm sure that others can come up with a few as well.

I'm putting out a standard challenge. If you make a ludicrous claim, you need to post a picture of it, along with a hand written sign on the car. The sign shall have "GTplanet.net" and your member name on it.

If you can't post that image (Hey, you can dump $6000 on a suspension, $15 on a digicam at the local store isn't much) then your claim will be stamped "ludicrous" and you'll be cast out, as well as made the laughing stock.

If you guys find fun ones, post em up in here

My question to you all: Why do you care? This is my dream, my ideas, my plans, and I don't need people going around trying to screw it up. The AUP prevents me from saying what I truly think about people like you guys. So maybe I don't have an M3. So maybe I do. What does it matter to you?

Answer this before you begin posting again.

Oh, and TSLeng? Please change your avatar. I've been to India before, and some of those children are the nicest people on earth. I don't want you tarnishing their image in my head. Thanks.

Simple, we want to know if you are even remotely legit, or just talking out your ass. I think most of us have already explained this to you, I know I certainly just did in my previous posts.

But the thing is, instead of just being legit about stuff, it appears you are lying about more and more. Thus, when people lie about pretty much anything, or it appears they are, most reasonable people will ask for some proof before they place any trust into the person.

What does this have to do with anything in this thread? It is called a PM, I'm certain you know how to use them.

Why would you even want to put any trust in me? You've already deemed the project impossible, stupid, pointless, and over-ambitious. So as far as I'm concerned, that's your input. End of story.

Edit: If you are wondering why I sound so pissed off, read the very first post.

You may also have read this little piece in the AUP

By using these Forums, you agree to the following:

* You will not post any material that is knowingly false, misleading, or inaccurate.

That's simple.
You've posted in here that you own an M3 and additional engines.
You've then posted a picture of "your" car when you first got it, which actually turns out to be someone else's entirely, along with "your" engine bay 5500 miles from home at a garage in the UK. :boggled:

The reason this matters to us is that the first line of our AUP clearly states:

You will not post any material that is knowingly false, misleading, or inaccurate.

which you've already done by posting a picture of someone else's car and claiming it as your own. Now that in the face of increasing scepticism about your claims you're ducking the simple 2 minutes it'll take to grab a picture of your car & engines to end the doubt, and instead basically saying "So maybe I'm lying, maybe I'm not" and somehow that's none of our business?
You've posted it here. That's made it our business.
If it's lies then it should not be posted here in the first place.
Which leaves you to provide real proof of your claims (with the Hi GTPlanet sign and your username visible in the pictures) or abandon your fabrications before you dig yourself into further trouble.

What's your problem with TSLeng's avatar? It's a picture of 2 kids. They could be his cousins for all you know?
It'd be like us saying to you: "I've seen a Lamborghini Diablo and I don't want you tarnishing the image of it for me."

I advise you to read this:

It may take you a while... but I hope you get the message. I have given you no reason to believe I'm telling the truth, but also no reason to believe I'm lying.

Smallhorses: You want to close the thread? It's going nowhere.

You mean its going to embarrass you further.

Quite dodging a relatively simple question. You asked a bunch of people in a random forum to help you create a super car. That generally requires some trust to be had at some level. And instead you insult a bunch of us, throw out tons of attitude, link us to articles on religion, post pictures of cars that are clearly not your own, and so on.

The coup de grâce is that you are now saying "what does it matter if I do or don't have an M3, even if I said I did?" Sounds more like you got caught and are trying to direct our attention elsewhere.

Actually...

You've given us no reason to believe you, true, but plenty reason to think you're lying... Namely the M3 bit.

I've no particular reason to want to close the thread, if anything it just reinforces the point that you've been backed into a corner and are now throwing in the towel.

It should stay open for you to post your proof in.

Quite what the link you have posted has to do with this I'm not really sure?

The reasons you've given us for not believing you are highlighted in red below, just in case you'd forgotten posting these pictures of "your" car. ;)

Here is a picture of the car when I first bought it...

Looks nice, but here's the engine bay before I got to it...
