In before the Pontiac Aztek and Subaru Tribeca.
You wouldn't want your continental spare tire to get damaged in the parking lot.
Of course they were.
Why would they have done a throwback to a design that went out of production less then a decade ago?

So. Many company's do a throwback feel to their cars. Challengers, charger, muatangs, corvettes.
But honda said you can pre-order it now^^.....
GTMailThose cars are 40-50 years old. Not 20. You think there is a reason there is no pop-up headlights anymore?
The car itself isn't ugly, it's the wheels that don't make sense to me. I know these are sort of a remade version of the vintage wheels, but they still don't look good to me. I see what VW was trying to do, I just don't think it worked out to well. Other than these wheels the car looks great.
I know you've mentioned that you're talking about the wheels, but I really really like the latest Beetle. I thought the first New Beetle was kinda lame but the new New Beetle...yowzah. I'd rock that.
I like the "new-New" Beetle. Me and my mom went on a test drive in a '13 Turbo and it was pretty good. I could fit in it just fine (which is saying something) and the 2.0l Turbo was pretty good too. The one we drove had a sunroof but she's really wanting a convertible. I have no idea if she's going to trade in her F150 for it, keep her F150, or just not even get it, but I like the Beetle.
xXKingJoshXxThat would just be unnecessary.
