The Le Mans General Discussion Thread

All three teams on the podium at the moment!

This race is amazing!

Been a great race so far, anyone of the 3 manufacturers could potentially win this race.

The races could be even better next season with another manufacturer into the mix and probably 10 cars running at Le Mans next season.

Absolutely amazing last race of the season so far. I am still rooting for Toyota of course, but part of me really wants to see Tom take the win seeing as this is the last race for him. He will be missed.

You simply don't get racing this amazing anywhere else.

:eek::nervous:

Webber's had a big crash up the hill to the pit straight again. Fingers crossed he's OK.

Edit: Webber waves from a stretcher. Great to see.

Out and without TV access, just checked twitter no images, I read there's a Ferrari involved, can anyone tell me what exactly happened? And if there's any image available please link to it. Thanks!

It isn't possible to determine who hit who from the replays. The Porsche comes into view before the Ferrari, but it's hard to tell who was responsible.

wow ... rear wheel making a 90º angle with the car means rear section all destroyed? Glad Webber is ok, Speed Chills just tweeted the man is a legend, thumbs up in the stretcher after such a massive crash!

wow again (after seeing hsv's picture) ... I see the Ferrari in the background, pretty damaged too or so it seems.

Thank you guys, long live gtplanet :gtpflag:

Question. Why aren't all the cars required to have onboard cameras so as to better determine what went wrong in accidents?

Race will end behind the safety car. If they all cross the line, #14 Porsche wins, the new WDC #8 finishes second, TK is 3rd with the #1 crew. Pretty good podium there.

A sad end to an otherwise great race and even greater season. Congrats to Toyota for the championship win.
Here's to an equally exciting next season. :cheers:
