It would be nice to just have them at Le Mans. And who knows. Riley supporting an Am team could still have a shot at the podium.bring up the rear? sure.

Anybody know if a C7.R will be in GTE-Am?
No chance as it will be restricted like nothing you've seen before as the biggest engine you are allowed in GTE is 5.5 litres. It would be nice to just have them at Le Mans. And who knows. Riley supporting an Am team could still have a shot at the podium.

They did decently in 2013.No chance as it will be restricted like nothing you've seen before as the biggest engine you are allowed in GTE is 5.5 litres.
Only if Chevy fancy selling it which they don't seem to want to do.
I don't think there will be, Labre went with the Porsche because under the new rules Am teams can use current Spec cars and Prant & Miller could not deliver up to date C7.Rs.It would be nice to just have them at Le Mans. Yep cause last and second last in class is a great result.....They did decently in 2013.
My words you quoted were sarcastic which should now be more apparent from the second part of my post, the part you did not quote where I like the idea better than Indy.Because building a road circuit in the middle of an oval after that oval is built - rather than planning road circuit and oval together - and treating the oval as a boundary seriously limits what you can do in the first place.
Although I suppose the merits of racing at Indianapolis depend on the configuration used. IMS have made tweaks for MotoGP and IndyCar, so if they're interested in a 2016 date, they could do the same for the WEC.
I was watching YouTube videos today about the Nissan Sentra NISMO and the guy was pronouncing it "Nees-an". Most Americans I think pronounce it "Nees-on" and then most other countries as "Niss-an" just like it's spelled.I'm watching the 2014 WEC season review, and for some reason, the American narrator insists on pronouncing "Toyota" as "Teeoder". Which is weird, because he gets every other name spot-on.
well thats my le mans trip paid for.
the countdown begins

That's a fair point, but it doesn't explain why he pronounced it "Teeoder".It really depends on what part of the USA he's from. Though now that I think about it, some might pronounce it "Toh-yo-tah/dah" and others might pronounce it "Toy-oh-tah"

Let's check then rule book shall we?Please let it happen and hopefully if they can get it going they'll have a better finish.
Corvette did well in their first year with the C7R and what waiver did the M3 gt2 get ?The Viper received a waiver to run the larger engine. BMW received plenty of them with the M3 GT2. Oh, and now the Z4 GTE in elms's GTE-AM. Yes 2013 was not a great showing for Viper, but it was their first year back. Look at the car in 2014 though, won two championships (probably wouldve won Sebring but for the wrong Porsche being penalizedlol)
Would've done better but the doors kept breaking...Corvette did well in their first year with the C7R and what waiver did the M3 gt2 get ?
From the top of my head, the racecar had a transaxle. IIRC, they also moved the rear suspension pickup points.Corvette did well in their first year with the C7R and what waiver did the M3 gt2 get ?
It's abit more than that! The M3 raced with 26 waivers see if you can find them allFrom the top of my head, the racecar had a transaxle. IIRC, they also moved the rear suspension pickup points.
I bet the Viper needed quite a few. I'm not sure how many, but I know it needed something because of its V10It's abit more than that! The M3 raced with 26 waivers see if you can find them all

Corvette needed 47(!) and Porsche needed 1 which was for cylinder liners.
And don't even get me started on the Z4 "GTE"![]()
Mainly around the engine and direct injection. Why'd the Corvette need 47?
