Yeah the TUSCC Mazda LMP2 (P) effort is a factory effort.Does the Sky Active thing actually have anything to do with Mazda?

Because Oreca made both.So I finally got a look at the Oreca 05 in proper race livery and at first I thought "It looks good but I feel like I've seen it before for some reason" and after googling pictures, I'm just gonna say it looks very familiar:
Rebellon R-One
Oreca 05:
While not exact in some details, they look...related
Probably the secret designation of the Rebellion...or 04 will be for the LMP3.Oreca 05. Lol they missed out the 04!

Speaking of which, I just watched today a clip about Ginetta (Drive) and they say they're excited about going to Le Mans with their LMP3 car...I thought LMP3 wasn't planned on going to Le Mans?
Here's the clip:
2017 P2 width is 1900mm,the 05 is built to that spec. They have been clever hear because the width limit on LMP2 class is 2000mm but the car width is 1900mm so they have widened the dive plains and some of the boy work for extra down foce.

They're in this for Le Mans, I really don't think they care much about anything else.Nissan seems to be doing more to Promote Le Mans then the series itself.
It's all that really matters anyway, as much as some of us don't want it to be the only thing that does. They're in this for Le Mans, I really don't think they care much about anything else.
It's True for now, but that is not to say the rest of the Series can't grow.I dont think thats true. The wec is still young, but its getting more and more popular. Le Mans needs races that lead up to it. Plus it gives us more opportunities to see these lmp1's etc. The TS020 only raced LM and Fuji. What a shame.
Another 24 hour race in the series might take away from Le Mans but I do agree about adding 12 hour races, Sebring most notably needs to make its return.Personally I don't think the races in the rest of the season are long enough, they need another 24h and a few 12hr,

Well it is.I dont think thats true.
Well its gunna change in years as the WEC grows!Well it is.
Don't forget road america.I don't think it ever will happen (apart from maybe Sebring) but I'd kill to see a WEC race at Daytona, Sebring or Watkins Glen, maybe even doing Petit Le Mans again at Road Atlanta.

Edit: the WEC made me interested in LeMans and LMP racing and it wasn't because it was racing hundreds of miles away but 20 minutes down the road! I can't imagine that I am the only one who has been converted by the WEC, which is why the WEC is more important then LeMans!
People are much more interested in a series that comes to them not waiting hundreds of miles away in France!
Fair enuf but people going to a WEC race with ther family are far more likely to whatch more races on TV and mabey even travel to the races then some one who hasn't been to a race as the publicity for le mans and WEC is quite low!I'm over 100KM from a former F1 circuit, which held 1 ALMS race in 1999, I've never seen a modern Prototype since then, yet I prefer the WEC over F1 even though we don't get any of it here in Australia, even on telly,
