head down to your local coffee shop. buy a nice peice of bud, smoke it then go home and make your decision. btw, you won't get ripped off ordering from a web site.

:scared: one.........o.....one more que:scared:stion.....question, I'm ONE CLICK AWAY from buying it from amazon.com and I only wanna know:scared: what are the shipping costs if you live in Europe, about 160km away from Rotterdam(the biggest harbor in the world:sly::cool:) I REALLY BUY it after this question (unless it's 60 euro's offcourse)
I MEAN with one-click away that, if the answer is giving it will be the start-shot or something that FIRES me to amazon.com so I'll probably have bought it within ten minutes after I see the answer........anyone gives the starting sign to me???

PS thanks for the answers on my 63557893927847777,1 questions:D

I am using the DFP with RBR, GTR with that new (beta) driver (4.60) from the wingman team, in combination with the speed7 pedals from BRD. It is a perfect wheel!!!! I sold my MOMO racing because I like the DPF a whole lot more!!!!

Everybody who is a race (sim) fan should get the DFP!!!!

Just a question!!! Why don't get the DFP from a local store??? It is a bit more expensive, I think, but it is a lot easier!!!

well, the new one in stores here are 149,99 euro, I have 125,.... euro or something so amazon.com I can, but the stores I can't so problem..........and hearing from my dad that the dollar's value is decreasing and that you must do $104,99:1,30 that THAT is the prize you actually have to pay plus the shipping costs.........:)

To all dear DFP racers,

Do you on the power steering? Or switched it off ?

Which is better? I switched it off since day1.

(Assuming Simulation setting)

Thanks

i don't know how much shipping costs to Europe. Good Luck though. Use the link i provided before if u choose to buy it. Thanks

Well.........I'm making, or have already made a decision on what to do, or was forced to make this decision, since ALL sites that have it for $104/80 euro DO NOT SUPPLY THE DFP TO EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY AMERICA!!!!!!! DDDAAMMMNNN!!!! SO I've decided to go for the DFP, and I asked if my dad could give me some extra money for it.....(around $50) if I repaid him later, ULTIMATE BAD PART IS THAT MEANS I have only JUST enough money for the DFP, and no for GT4 for a while because I HAVE to buy it from a local store here in the city(maybe a long while:scared::scared: )!!!!!!!!!! IF I HAD IT FROM AMAZON.COM I would have enough money probably, but NO I have to buy it for 149,- euro/169,- dollars or something!!!!! DAMN IT!!! I'm scr*wed for sure, but I'll try to get a job at a supermarket (I'm 15 but it's normal here in Holland) or something to earn something AND will lower the prices for my games I wanna sell DRASTICLY to only ten euro each or something, for 8 games!!!!:indiff:

Do you think that I'm gonna mis out on a fabelous GT4, or do you think I've made the right decision on selling and working for the game and don't mis out on the fabelous DFP???

G-T-4-Fan, you should keep in mind that US DFPs come with 110V adaptors. For EU is 220V. I'm planning to get one from ebay and use my EU adaptor that came with MOMO Force with DFP.

OT I've recently parted with my Speed7 pedals and opted for Frex.
(Only because Frex pedals are compatible w/both the PC & PS2 and I didn't want to have to deal with changing the pedals out depending on what game and/or system I was using.)

Sim....this is the perfect opportunity for me to ask you. How do you have your Frex pedals installed in your BRD Frame? Are they mounted on the ground the regular way or are they mounted in an upright position hanging from the frame's ceiling.

I too, will be buying a Frex kit as well as the Frame. The upright/upside down position looks KICK ASS for racing! Looks more natural. But the difference between me and you will be the fact that I will also have to deal with switching pedals between the ECCI pedals and the Frex pedals.

Do you know anyone who is using the ECCI pedals with the BRD race frame? Going by the pictures, it appears that installing ECCI pedals in the BRD frame would not fit too well.

@isamu: I've not yet received my order from Frex yet and based on their current production time frame, I probably won't get them until sometime in late March or so... I'm hopefull that I won't have too much of a time getting the pedals mounted to the RFP in the upright position...but if not, then I'll just use them in the regular, standard position.

As for the ECCI pedals...I don't know of anyone personally using them but I do agree that it might be a bit of a nuisance in getting them to fit into the RFP...I guess it would be a bit easier to just remove the pedal stand from the RFP, as that should free up enough room for the ECCI pedals to fit. Not sure how sturdy they are but I'm guessing something would need to be put behind them in order for them not to move while in use.

Once my Frex order has been received, I'll let you know how the install of the pedals go!

Later-

Thanks, yeah checked there already and that offer for $96 or something is pretty cheap and I'm really considering buying it.....but it's "used" and don't really trust things from just persons, and assuming they are okay, too many people I know have made this mistake already, is there a bigger chance there to have a let's say, loos pedals, or something else that's wrong. I don't trust it, so I'll keep prefering for new ones from some known shop, that has a good reputation, cause with so many people that think the wheel or pedals are too loos or something else, theres a pretty good chance this will be the case with the "used" ones from e-bay while amazon.com doesn't sell the DFP......

But since this thread might look like it's more made for helping me out:rolleyes: I have posted a thread here on this GT4 forum titled: "GT4 versus a new DFP, WTH SHOULD I DO??!!" Just to have my owne thread instead of taking over this forum, I only hope it will be accepted by the mods. cause I have posted it like 12 hours ago, before I went to sleep, so.........

Edit: But I know what I'll do, I'll just buy the DFP "expensive version" here in the city and then sell my new games for ten euro each so that it'll sell quickly, and then I hopefully have the money for GT4 just on time for the PAL release:tup: I'll post what I think of the DFP on friday or saturday:D:tup:

Another time, thanks for all the help

G-T-4-Fan: You should try to find european Online retailers for your DFP... I'm trying to find best deal for DFP back here in finland and the lowests price that I've found is 114€ Finnish online retailer: verkkokauppa.com

I dont think that you can order from there, but just wanted to show you, that there are lower prices for DFP also back here at the old continent...

Hi to all, i thought id post it has been viewed by many, hopefully someone, can help me with the problem,

i have recently purchases my force pro, brand new it was sealed and everything, but after a week of playing with it on strong on gt4 prolouge, it has now lost the feel, and its kick back, its gone all week like if it was on a little,

i have tried everything from the game, settings to taking it out pluging it in, but it still feels cheap now, i have contacted logitech, just waiting for reply, i wanted to know if anyone has had the same problem, and if so how you fix it???
as i really want to play it on strong for gt4 in 2 weeks,
thanks chez. :)

Sorry to hear that. I don't have any solution, but if you find one, let us know, just in case ...

I did a search through this thread and couldn't find anything. But can you calibrate any of the Logitech wheels in GT4?

I search the Forum and could not find a decent response to my question.

I got my GT4 game this week and to my biggest surprise the only wheel that seems to be supported is Logitech. in the option menu I on ly see, DFP, DF and GT force. But nowhere is mentionned that only the logitech wheels are compatible with GT4, is this a quiet market strategie. If this is the case it really sucks big time.

Can anyone confirm this, because Sony is beeing very slow in responding and Thrustmaster just responded me that it is not supported in GT4.

Although I will end up on getting the DFP, because this game rocks and the DFP is PC compatible, but it really sucks to change a perfectly good wheel for just a Game, I'm fuming right now

thanx guys

yeah it does suck that all wheels aren't compatible but this is why this game is so much better. The wheel was designed around this certain game. Can't ask for a better product i guess. This is where i got mine if you are interested in getting one.

I got mine for 8x dollars shipped way before GT4 was released... I used it to play GT3, Burnout 2, 3 and GT4 prolouge. Its nice is all I can say... now with US version GT4... very fun!

what´s the diference between dfp and gt force?? nothing?same wheel?? wtf??how can gt support same wheel for 2 times...but i think that you can use other wheels that logitech just cant use 900 degeers..i think that is the support and none other wheel can rotate 900 deg...
