If I were worth billions I'd still buy a McLaren MP4-12c before this. That should say alot about what I think about this car
I was never a big fan of the MP4, too pedestrian looking for me. This, looks AWESOME!

Agree. The MP4 is blistering fast but is too toned down looks wise for my taste (I love the MP4 race spec though with all the extra aero and air ducts/vents. I like the 458 miles better aesthetically than the standard MP4.
The P1 on the other hand is an ultra exotic looking hypercar with the looks to snap your neck around.
Interesting point about the 458, because I think the MP4 tried to go for the same "clean and pretty" feel but where as the 458 turned out gorgeous, the MP4 was boring. Of course these are just my opinions.

I'd do nearly anything to witness a one-on-one race between the P1 and LaFerrari.

I love this thing. Although, with nearly 1000hp I would expect a higher top speed. 218 seems a little low. I would hope for at least it to match the F1.
I don't know, 600 kilos of downforce seems a little far-fetched to me...
It's really misleading because the aero package is creating 600kg of downforce at what speed?

If so, holy Huayra-Tata!
If you read the update at the bottom of the article, it states that it is not an official time, nor does it represent a real run.
With a claimed 2.0g of cornering and braking, a sub 7 minutes is likely.
Not to mention faster than the F1 record...
Would be something if they get down to 6:40... street legal and production, would be the first legitimate "record" by any of these new supercars on the Nurb.
