wow congrats!I wish I was rich like you
All I'm trying to say is that it's some disappointing DLC,and not worth the wait >.> But Kaz will never learn :P

Kaz doesn't fix the price Sony do. Crikey you cannot buy a packet of cigarettes here for the price of this DLC.

I say BARGAIN.

Honestly, given Academy just ending and the fact they have been keeping up with the new seasonal content, what would have satisfied you? How many tracks, car, and at what price? Truly curious.

I hope you're not being serious really
GT Academy?A bunch of new license test, meh
Seasonals? It's the same now,2 time trials,2 drift trials and some FR/FF challenges *yawn*
A 7/8 car pack with worth having cars would be a dream.I'd gladly pay 20$ for it!Also, tracks with no dynamic weather/time get boring pretty fast,so one of those features is a must. After that,I'd gladly pay for my DLC :)

So basically, we got a NASCAR track and a Super GT track, plus two extra.

So it's a good deal for me.....

I am not offering Academy and the seasonals as a replacement for DLC. However, your expectations have to be realistic. You cannot run something like Academy AND keep up with the seasonals AND TTs AND OCD switches AND also be modeling new cars for 7-8 car pack (of whatever "worth having cars" is. Not that I am slamming you, it's just that "worth having" is going to be different for just about everyone.).

As I said before, all things considered, it isn't a bad offering. Small? Yes. And I do agree about the time/weather changes, although we may get that shortly after the release in an update.

Listen, from PD's team of 150 or so people, not 100% are working on GT Academy
Also, really, how hard should be for a PD programmer to set a bunch of events and select a bunch of cars to put in an online dealership?EASY WORK!
Stop using that as an excuse!Different people program the events, different people do the car/track modelling
I don't want to sound like a Forza fanboy(never owned an XBox in my life),but they've managed to create a free roam game, with double the premium cars that GT5 has in less than 2 years!Kaz needs to get his **** together, ask Sony for some funds(since they're one of their most important devs)and hire more people to make this game(or GT6) complete, cuz this is just intolerable

I agree with every point in this post. I'll never understand why PD has so few employees when their sales are so much higher than that of Turn 10's. Add in the fact that PD's employees work so much more methodically than that of Turn 10's as well as all the mismanagement that they suffer from (wasted time creating racing gear, horns, B-spec, paint chip system, etc.) and we have the ****storm known as GT5.

Yes,if GT5 only had 350/400 gorgeous premium cars,a much better selection(nobody gives a **** about a premium Suzuki Cappucino that's just utter BS!) and more A spec(with B spec mixed in,as standalone it's just plain boring)the game would've been a lot better and much more satisfying to play
Also,it would leave space for at least 4xAA,better shadows and 3d trees/spectators
rant off :)

Ahem, your words and opinions do NOT speak for the entire GT community.

I for one love the Cappucino and many others do to.

A7X_GT5
So,we're paying 5 euros,for a new track with no weather/time change
Oh,but we're getting the Scion for free, which is the exact same thing as the 86 GT.I wish we could get at least a single 2012/2013 car,or(as it's been said a million times)some new A-Spec events.I would gladly pay for them instead for a 7$ bland track >.>

Is complaining about the Toyota GT86 and Scion FRS and how bad the DLC is going to be the only thing you do on this forum? Every post I've seen by you is about how they just rebadged a Toyota 86.

I had another account,I closed that one
I re-opened this when the DLC/Scion came out and it struck my attention
As I've said previously,I DO NOT HATE GT5,matter of fact,I've played it more than any other PS3 game in my library,it's just the game has gotten really boring as of right now(yes, not even the great online community can help),and we need some fresh stuff,or a GT6 teaser to keep us drooling
anyway come on!This community needs to raise the bar when it comes DLC!
I can't believe that everyone is satisfied with a single track! And also,to the guy that said that they love the Cappucino, well,I'd much more prefer an Ascari A10 or a premium Bugatti Veyron instead of a 70hp car :yuck:

How do you take yours? I prefer mine iced with a hint of caramel, oh... Wrong kind :P Just got both the FR-S and Motegi, pretty fun of you ask me...

Haha nice one
Yes Motegi is fun,but is it enough to keep this game going?Nope
We really need a bunch of new exotic/high performance cars,or **** it,at least 5 standards upscaled to premium,I'd pay for that.Heck,I'd even pay for a GT5 Spec III update!

Why stop there? How much would you pay for Kaz to hand-deliver an Aventador in your choice of colors and design a track that will fit in your backyard, but drives like a full-sized track? $30 $40

BUT WAIT, THERE's MORE

The track also folds up to fit in your pocket so you an take it to a friend's backyard and inside the pits...11 more exotic cars for your friends to race with you on your Pocket Track.

Again, expectations.

And just so you are aware (regardless of whether you do it or not), those paints chips and gear sets account for a large part of the game for some of the most die-hard fans of this game. So, maybe expectations and perspective.

Believe me,I am a die-hard Gran Turismo fan, otherwise I wouldn't be on this forums in the first place :) the paint chips are really nice, but they shouldn't be lost each time you paint your bloody car!If I want a matte black car then I have to buy a Lexus LFA,but if I want black matte rims with that, another LFA to the garage! That's 700.000 game credits for a full matte black car
GT5 has some strange design choices, but those are what make it special! And in order to keep this game alive and the fans happy,Kaz really needs to work his ass off.The competition is getting stronger and stronger day by day,and a track every 5 months(also with a new car which is ALREADY in the game) is not gonna do anything!👎

I want grid girls with my DLC track and I want an Ice cream van and a fire truck in the cars pack, until then I will not buy any DLC.

Can't please people it seems. They demand for things then complain when they get a track that was one of the most requested AND complain about a car that they get FOR FREE.

I feel sorry for you then!Too bad you won't enjoy the awesome already-in-the-game-Toyota-with-a-different-badge!

I'm not saying that Motegi is a bad track! But we waited too long for just that!If he would be releasing this every two months then I would shut the **** up and play the game
But the waiting all it does is raise hopes, and when the game disappoints, jobless people like me will bitch on GTPlanet

Seems like your life priorities are out of order then.

If GT5 did have 350/400 premiums, we wouldn't have this game today.

I'm currently on high school, just finished my junior year, one year left then it's college time
So yeah it's kinda too soon for that,in the meanwhile Imma lap a LP700-4 on the 'Ring on a video game

A. This thread is deja vu all over again.
B. Motegi's way better than it was on GT4. Plus we get 4 layouts, including an oval, which is something GT5 needs more of. Well worth the money in my opinion.
C. Don't diss the Cappy.

Oh My goodness guys.. I can't get over the amount of complaints over every DLC we get, the 1st DLC even had complaints.. I can't believe it. I know this DLC seems a little bit stingy don't get me wrong.. But making these threads to make everyone feel like they're making a difference it s little ridiculous.

Motgei has decent layouts and is a 1.5 mile oval. Which GT5 has needed.

This^
If people think we don't need a new speedway because we "already" have Daytona, INDY, and SSRX.. why complain.. we are getting new tracks (1 track with many variations)

I think PD is working on GT6. If they put everything in GT5, GT6 will be less exciting.

That's why we don't get any new car.

If they're working on GT6 then the lack of new content is much more acceptable
But until we hear an announcement that the game's on the way,the fans will continue getting disappointed like this :(

I for myself have never complained about any DLC that PD has released,I've bought them day one and I love every single one of them(yes, even the extra GT-Rs,I'm a GT-R fan :) but this DLC was rather disappointing after a 5 month wait!
