I played about with the Swift last night but couldn't dial it in - That was on SH but it never dawned on me to try SM tyres! :banghead::banghead::banghead:
Managed to get the Fit RS dialed in reasonably well - Just got to get the top speed down a notch and I'll be there.

My car actually still needs some work. That or I just need practice. I'm working to get 1:29.5s but I'm going 115 on the main straight. Will anyone have a server up tonight?

When I got the update, the cars I was driving, were crabbing all over the place:guilty:
The smallest amount of imput, with massive loads on the road, causing me to crash.

Then I turned the settings down and it was better, I would like the wheel to stay like it is when you first switch it on.

I'm going too have to go back to the new special event, when I first tried it, felt to arcade. But seeing most of you are enjoying it see I can open it up.

If you're using a Logitech or Fanatec wheel it seems the general consensus is that lower sensitivity is best to eliminate odd feelings in the wheel. I think I have mine at 6 sensitivity and 8 or 9 torque but I might turn the sensitivity down a little more because there's still a bit of deadzone in the center of the wheel. I'm fairly satisfied with how it feels now.

As for the Sierra arcade challenge, it's certainly arcadey and the AI are mind-breakingly frustrating but for me it's still probably one of the most fun options in single player (mainly because I tired of chasing rabbits a long time ago). Mainly, it's just something different which is nice and we haven't really had anything new or different in this version of the game.

Plus there's the competitive side of it when you end up ten points behind Brandon and just have to do it all again and beat the b*gger!

Yes I changed my settings to the above, so feels better now:D Might adjust force feedback alittle eventually.

FFs turn better, did shake down, feels good at Autumn Ring:)

@BrandonW77 my twin spark is already on sm tires. I could probably get the time down if I had more practice. I don't want to modify the car anymore because I've thrown on everything to this thing except for max power. Here's a list of what I did: oil change, engine upgrade 1-3 ECU tuning, sport filter, sm tires, 6 speed close ratio transmission, hard racing fixed suspension kit, full weight reduction and an LSD

I'd recommend trying a different car then, if you're doing 115mph and still over the lap time target you're going to have a hard time getting it dialed in. Try the Integra or Scoricco, those shouldn't require much tweaking. 👍

@BrandonW77 , hobbsy told me you'd may be interested in an invite code for the csw v2 .
just got an e-mail from fanatec and they told me I'll get two codes in the next days or weeks .
as the guy who makes my schedule every week and giving me hard but absolutely clean battles , I would love to give you one of these codes , If you need them of course.
I don't know if I'll get a V2, but I definitely don't buy two of them.

see you and the others on sunday:gtpflag:

Is this for the new wheel that's coming out in the near future? I'd love it, but I won't have the finances to buy one any time soon and any extra funds in the near future will be going towards a PC. I certainly appreciate the gesture though!

I'm ready for sunday :gtpflag:

Awesome job @KingKlingeling, hope you've added some weight to slow you down ;)
:D no need for weight adding , Rig is solid steel and weights almost 200 kilograms now , add my 85kg driver weight and you got the ca. weight of your daihatsu in the living room

after showing my friend danilo the rig , he said he now knows why I am 2sec faster altough my 70hp lower car :sly:

.... he ordered some stickers too 👍

Do you guys think it's ok if my buddy danilo is taking part on todays races ?
I explained him the rules and his only goal for today would be to stay out of trouble :sly:
he's not able to win any race yet, but he needs experience under race conditions 👍
he's doing quite well for a 2weeks, first time wheel owner ;)

I don't see any harm in that, as long as others understand that he is learning and equally give him room, or take precautions for unexpected lines braking points etc.
But from what I saw the other night, he seems to have a good understanding of navigating the track!

We all have to start somewhere, no better place than amongst friends.

edit: besides let's not do him any injustice, this is Parity racing... Anyone can win ;)
