Well me and the girlfriend took a walk around the village she lives in, I managed to get some pics!

:)

Messing around with HDR still have to tweak the colors though

They Blue's are back home here in Pensacola and they've started their weekly practices. There will be 4 practices this week. Then they'll leave for the air show in Corpus Christi, TX.

Almost overcast today though. :(

Here are some of my latest. I just went out into the garden with one of my dogs and he sat there watching me take photos for a while. So I tried to take some of him. I pretended there was some food just under the lens so he would look directly at me, in the end he would just stare at the camera whenever I called his name! :)

Anyway here are the shots;

Wow moglet, nice shots. What camera are you using?? I really like the dog shot!

Thanks! I'm using a Nikon D50, all of these were taken with the standard kit lens.

mog, always love your shots. awesome work.

Thanks antihero, it means a lot coming from such a good source of inspiration. 👍

Good stuff speedy. I'm guessing you were zoomed in pretty far for those shots - must have been tricky keeping the camera on target.

Thanks. And yes it does get tricky panning something that's moving at 400MPH. lol.

@Moglet and speedy: great shots! 👍

@skylineGTR_guy: what program are you using for those HDRs?

Damn speedy, I'm jealous.

Some randoms, expect a super post soon. My brother is up and being the people we are, abandoned buildings are being explored and photographed to their fullest extend.

I think he means there is too much empty space. The picture is basically a picture of the sky, without the sky being interesting in the first place. My eyes are drawn to the objects in the picture, which I'm guessing was what you tried to achieve, but there isn't much to look at down there either.

speedy: Blue Angels: What can I say?👍 The speedo one I like too.

Moglet: I like the padlock one. The others are good too.

anti: Less empty space in the last one. It's mostly cloudy sky; it comes across as if you ment to take a picture of the buildings and slipped, ending up with some cloudy sky.
Looking forward to the superpost :)

A couple of shots taken at a car show I attended with the Mini club yesterday:

A local cruise-in I went to this afternoon. Of course I used the 10-22mm for most of these shots. But, I broke out the 30mm on a few ;D

I like the first image of the mini's, very sharp picture. Perfect white balance:tup:
Speaking of white balance, has anyone used an expo disk before? If so how did it do, thinking of buying one soon.

You guys are weird, you keep asking for more empty space but I can't give anymore.

Awesome shots Speedy.

Here is some random photos I have taken

I was using my crappy little 3mp HP Camera when I took all of these photos. I would love to get me a nice SLR someday.

The sunset pictures are pretty nice and the Camaro one is a neat angle. Pretty good for only have a 3MP camera. I'm with you though, I'd love to have a nice SLR.
