I was so close to getting it but my save got corrupted without a backup (not making that mistake again). The only real obstacle was the Vettel challenge. Silver (very close to Gold) at Nurb, Gold at Monza and Bronze at Suzuka. I've been practicing like mad though so I should be able to get the Platinum in about three months once I've done all endurance races AGAIN.

I look at my trophy percentage and its 83%... I know i'll never get the plat due to the vettel challenge golding requirement. Unless there's a glitch for it? Anyone know?

Plus, i'm stuck at B-spec level 36. What's the best way to level up? the 24 hour le sarthe? any help would be greatly appreciated. 👍

I got back to the Vettel Challenges that I thought were impossible with a DS3 but I find myself only 0.2sec away at Monza! I know it's the easiest one but it makes me want to go further !

I wonder how this compares with other games? I don't visit other forums but how many of forum users on a typical game would have a plat?

1% of users on a dedicated forum sounds like a super-low percentage. If we assume x% (less than 1%) are into the game enough to visit/post on forums then plats are 1% of less than 1% of people playing the game.

That number was just an estimate based on the total number of registered users here on GTP (around 209,000). As you can see, I was actually being lenient as its way less than 1% based on that alone but I do understand that there are certain variables that affect it such as the fact that not everyone posts, various usernames under one person, etc. I don't want to get too mathematical but all I wanted to point out was that there are not a lot of people with GT5 platinums here in GTP. Turn everything off if you need driving line keep driving line on but driving aids slow people down a hell of alot just keep trying it over and over and over...

Dont you need to gold everything for a trophy to get platina? Im only two vettel challenges away and two 24h enduro races away from having everything gold my gameprogress says 99%
