The gender reveal thing? The huge wildfire currently burning in California was due to a bunch of asshats using fireworks to do a gender reveal.

The latest California wild fire was sparked by pyrotechnics at a gender reveal party. IIRC there was a wildfire in New Mexico started in similar fashion.
