2:00 AM if I recall correctly. That bright part is where the moon is (I think) because it's only that bright in that spot, not in others. This video gives a better impression on how dark it is, especially when out in the open road where there are no streetlights (and no headlights, because racecar).

Looks great. It might look a little bright because it's a clear night. You can easily drive without headlights on a clear, starry night, as there's plenty of light from the moon and stars. My dad used to tell me stories about street racing back in his youth in the 60s and 70s. He lived in a small country town, and him and his friends would race on the country roads in the early hours of the morning on the clearest nights so they could race without their lights on. Life must've rocked in the 60s and 70s lol. As Jackie Stewart said "back then racing was dangerous, and sex was safe" lol.

Someone wasn't really impressed:

Thanks for the video.

I do not have problem with AI in GT games because they do not cheat. F1 and other games have more faster, aggressive AI but they cheat and are unrealistic which turns me off. Physics are good enough I guess and sound is overdone like most games.

From other video I noticed the blur in helmet cam is just like shift2 which is a shame. Gfx is mixed bag but overall is good considering youtube. Driver animations is not changed. But the F4 video in team VVV channel. He could not even steer properly.

Here is the video. He says he was locking up the rears. Either he is not really good in this car or this car is undriveable as he is not even trying to drive fast :banghead:

You can disable blur, we told you this before and if you saw any other videos, like the one that goes over graphics options you'd see that.

Driving with a controller is not as easy as with a wheel, if you don't have much experience with it. Controller is what he was doing in these vids.

Well, you can always tune the setup to get the car to drive the way you want. Move brake balance forward to stop the rears from locking up etc. Might need some more setup slider fiddling with the controller, last time I tried the FRookie I used a wheel and it was fine.

Very light+low grip+controller+noABS. These kinds of cars you can't just jump into and expect to be both fast and consistent. Very few GT drivers that I'm aware of for example, drive without ABS and a controller because it's very difficult. I'm sure with the proper set up the car will be much more controllable.

Here's a video from ChilliSteak from a week ago, same car, same track, and the car looks very driveable to me!! Making mountains out of molehills my friend! :D :D

The braking pressure is set a bit too high in the default car setup for such a light car.
Be gentle with your left foot and/or reduce the brake pressure and it's a blast!

Hi
Video of one of the most beautiful cars in the world, the McLaren MP4 12C GT3 on Spanish circuit of Montmelo, the video has an edition in the introduction and recorded onboard the gopro, I hope you like it;)

greeting

Am I just missing something or is that track not even listed as one of the locations in the game? I'm confused...or stupid, lol.

I don't see it listed here...

http://www.projectcarsgame.com/locations.html

it's Catalunya, Barcelona. I guess as it's not quite official yet he used a different name.

Roger that, and I love that track, that's why I asked. I didn't even realize it was in the game. I don't even care what it's called, if it's in the game I'm even more excited than I have been.

it was called Besos a while back. it's weird because a coupl of weeks ago it looked all officially licensed but now it appears not. not sure what's going on there but i hope it makes it in for launch too as i also like this track, but not as much as i used to before they slowed down the last couple of corners in recent times.

Ongoing track negotiations...those who cant read, still uploading videos of it... :odd:
so there's a chance that the day 1 patch will remove Catalunya from any and all career events it appears in so it can be replaced with another? bet the devs love this kind of work :boggled:

'Besos' means 'kisses' in Spanish!! :* :* :* Lol!!

That seems to be a bad design decision. I realize that in some motorsport, teams share pits but that should not happen in a game.

Basically just ruins your race right there.
