@Adrianf1 Nice to see the tunnels are getting properly textured. It was either an Azure Coast or a Pacific Coast video I watched months ago where the wall textures of the tunnel looked like something out of Half-Life 1 .

I had trouble hearing if there were any reverberations in the tunnels. Does anyone know if there are or will be?

A.I. needs a lot of work here.

I've noticed that in the more recent videos posted on You Tube, that the AI in P Cars seems to have taken a turn for the worse. Particularly regarding them braking far too much on straights & corners (dare I say it, GT6 style).

What does such an setup cost?

I never take rist to count it, but You can calculate it with ease: computer with GPU ar. GTX780, 3x medium level LCD with low lag, Fanatec XL bundle (CSR) or Logitech, some lowcost stand like Wheel Stand Pro and buttkicker. It could be much more expensive, but this simple setup should work well and provide amazing fun and immersion. I wish every virtual racer to sit just once in such rig, You'll never ever try again sth like pad or 1lcd ;)

It's time varying, but from for example 1 year perspective it's going into very right direction!

Holy moly so at least 5k :D

I cant wait for the project morpheus or occullus rift to try out, this can save you probably an 3 screen setup.

I have an full hd beamer, when I am back home from holiday I will give it a try with sim racing. The screen is around 120 inch so maybe it will give an 'inside the car' feeling too I hope.

Hi there

Project Cars Vs real life in the German Nordchleife circuit, the circuit is not finished but you can see the quality he has.

a greeting

The detail is crazy, if you look exactly, they even got the trees on the right spots. But the real life drive looks way more adrenalineish and the pcars looks a bit like a coffee drive :D Not in terms of slow driving, you are as fast as the guy in the real life video.

Do you have to speed up or slow down any of the footage to get it so close? That was absolutely spot on, which is quite unbelievable considering the size of the track.

The Nurb looks spectacular ^^^^ but awfully smooth in the game compared to the bumpiness of the real thing.

I think he had camera shake turned completely off in that video, which might've given a false impression.

Ah yes, forgot about that. It's in Grid Autosport as well, and turning it up while you're in cockpit cam makes for quite a lively experience.

That's what I thought too. There is no hype. It's just is what it is and make of that what you will.
