Still dont know why you think the animation is wrong? He has to embrace his right hand at a steering angle of 180° otherwise he would probably broke his wrist (yes, I know more degrees are possible irl!)... theres different techniques for steering, so only because its not the way you'd steer doesnt make it a less correct animation ;)

That's not the way any Formula 1 driver would steer. It would not work like this. In F1 you have to change gears pretty fast. The driver shifts down with the left shift paddle and up with the right one. So in this case the driver has to upshift suddenly after he steered right.
You can see it in these videos:

Of course it does not make the game worse but I still hope they fix it because it destroys the immersion a little bit. And it would be another nice touch of realism if they could get it right.

René Rast is a German racing driver and has competed in the Porsche Supercup and Formula BMW ADAC, oh and he just happened to win the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2014 so it’s fair to say he knows how to race.

He recently shared a Project CARS gameplay video where he took the Mercedes Benz 190E Evo2 DTM to the legendary Nürburgring track.

A few people over at N4G doesn't don't seem to understand that the driver (Rast) made a mistake when entering the turn where he stuffs it into the wall (5:43 in the video).

It just looks like typical trolls who have never touched the game slagging it off because it's not Iracing or gt etc

Hi
New comparison of the new wet effect project cars, the video is made with the Audi R8 LMS in Monza.

greeting

Exceptional. I never liked the puddling effect and was hoping they would fix that look and voila, here it is, fixed before release. Looks way better IMO. I also noticed at the beginning you can see drops of rain on the rear deck in that view but in the old view you don't see the drops:tup:.

You know what's cool? It's only a few. Look at the agree/disagree ratio. It's overwhelmingly in favour of PCars and against the trolling including your post with a dose of the truth that rings in at 23-4 in your favour. That's good to see. :sly: The trolls get a lot of attention but you can tell by how people vote that they know that the troll is just a troll.

thedottore46,
You have just made my entire year!!
I was getting ready to post that the Video Looks Amazing and was thinking that the settings must be on Ultra, when I saw that this is set to High I almost hit my head on the ceiling jumping for joy, if the PS4 can play Project Cars like this then I am hooked. I pre-ordered for the PS4 and was wondering if I would be satisfied with the graphics as I have seen some videos from Ultra and they have knocked my socks off, but if I can get this on PS4 I would be very happy.

We can lower the seat and move it forward right? Think that would certainly help in that car.
Yes indeed, and it will be a good thing for the M1 because it does seem like a giant is driving it from the back seat

For comparison purposes, this is how the drivers look out of the windscreen IRL:

Line of vision is a lot lower and closer to the wheel than in the PCARS vid.
I find myself lowering and closing the seat a lot in AC also, so it's quite a common little mistake in race sims.

I like that in cockpit view the difference is not that visible. Sure in replays you'll definitely notice the "less good" graphics, but during races in cockpit it seems enough to have fun on a low end pc. Fps over beauty!
I'm on ps4 anyway.
