Indy- at your typical American response :D I am only going for the white beaches and blue sea mate, I wont be taking part in any revolutions or shooting any septic tanks ;)

Ellis- It does look amazing from the pics đź‘Ť

Spurgy-I wonder who his mum terrorized in his absence :D

I have ab admiration for the Cuban education system. It just makes sense. You do school as normal for free, and if you want to go to university for free, do a year or two national service. We should have that!

Despite the critisism Castro gets, he actually has not done too badly considering the embargo from America.

And yes spurgy they did leave me. My parents don't have to be on hand to mop up sweat 24/7 unlike yours :D

I agree with the uni bit, I'm going to come out with around ÂŁ55,000 worth of debt
That's enough to buy a brand new Nissan GT-R!!!!!

Ellis- Yes get the army full of student types wearing T shirts saying 'give quiche a chance' adorned with peace badges. It might work in a tough country like Cuba but in the UK we would invaded successfully within months

Pagey- That is disgraceful đź‘Ž

I actually turned down going university because of the costs. Put me in the army and you better be prepared for a me moaning I have to get up early, moaning that the puddle is cold, moaning I got dirt on my uniform, then promptly shooting myself in the foot and getting medical leave. :dopey:

National service isn't necessarily the army :)

I doubt they'd let me fly anything and I don't like the idea of being so far underwater that is it did suddenly fill up with water I'd be totally and utterly 🤬 screwed

Spurgy wouldn't be allowed by the FIA to be a driver. His sweat would cause dangerous wet conditions all the time causing people to crash. :D

I would cheer sandman on. Plus because he will be mega rich from his job and ginger rights groups sponsoring him he can pay for me to watch him :D

My helmet..

Ferg is happy to join this. Thus making a post about him wanting to join pointless and the time taken to get on irrelevant

Was looking to buy it off a Facebook group where you can buy and sell games in Sussex and a guy had it for ÂŁ6 a bus drive away from my house. Might get it next week but can't spend too much as I'm saving up for my moped and I'm on a tight budget.

I only wanted it for the demolition derby - it looks awesome! Better than Dirt - showdown anyway!

The demo derby on it reminded me of the game: Driven to Destruction of PS2 it was my favourite game. Here's a video.

UPDATE:

I like the sound of Wednesday's or Thursday's at 8 onwards. :)

Also all of us meeting at Silverstone would be class - how much are tickets and when do they go on sale?

You should get dirt, it's awesome :D only trouble is because it's so old now the online servers are no longer running so it's just single player.

I'm not sure how much silverstone tickets are, Sandman should know :) Trouble is I'm probably going to buy a MK2 Golf a friend of mine is selling for ÂŁ150 and have it as a project car, so that plus uni means I will be pretty darn poor.

Go for the MK 2 man! Beautiful cars just spend little parts on it each month - well worth it such a nice car!

Anyway to bed with me now - working long shifts these past 2 months. 8 till 6 3 - 4 days a week then 10 - 4 on Sunday's. Around 40+ hours a week so once I have my moped all insured and ready to go I'll be saving for a gaming PC!

Pagey- Excellent news about the golf. It will make a mechanic out of you if you have a project to take apart and put back together saving you ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁ's in the future. I used to drive a mk2 with a fat bumper kit and smoked lenses :D
Have you got somewhere to park it?

No not yet, that's the thing that's putting me off. Realistically I won't be able to do the things I want to till I leave uni so it will be sitting at home in the car park for 3 maybe 4 years.
So I might wait untill I graduate then pick one up. I don't know yet.

My advise is leave it. Nothing kills a car quicker than not being used regularly, my old Calibra had cress growing in the back after I let it stand for a year :(
Get one when you finish uni đź‘Ť
