Rosckolove, well done for sticking to your guns & managing (mostly) to stay as civil as you did in both threads. 👍 IMO, you've proved that a clean 6.27 lap is possible in the CSL on RS tyres. It also seems to me that once you proved that you were seriously fast, people felt they had to pick holes in that as well? Anyway, kudos!

Yea what a pain in the %$#@ time trialing is, I tried for about an hour. I'm 8 seconds off pace. i have to practice with the tires more, I mess every corner up

well this is a little of topic, but my bud THEGREATONE228, did 5.01.968 in the 88C at max pp with Skid, and pulled off a 5:19.221 with out aids. anyways

The 2.08 patch as some wat nerffed the rams 550pp performance, Mine and greatone's could pull in the mid 6:30s with out aids and hold 6:28s with skid, now its 6:40s with Skid and 6:49-54 without, but that does not matter anymore because we beat so many people in the rams that till this day, their are random rooms he and i can't join because off our rams.... we were not A-Holes ether, i guess ALOT of People have hate for a Once great sleeper truck. And THEGREATONE said he is DONE with GT5.

I'm aware of the general opionion about RS'S. I just want to play as much as I can in real races and thats just how online rooms are as we all know.

However, after I tried the TVR for a bit, I went back to my XJ with RS's online, I have to admit it felt need for speed like.

That feeling gets worse and worse.

I actually don't take issue to RS tires as many do, I take issue with RS tires on no-front-aero street cars on bouncy tracks. The speed required to maximize the tires grip cause you to fly, and half the lap is just keeping the car on the ground. (exaggeration of course)
I actually spent more time on Friday racing street cars on RS tires than I have in GT4 and 5 combined.

It was a decent race over the weekend. Great win Roscko!

Got nervous starting from pole, and spun around 4 times in the first 3 laps. Couple that with getting stuck behind slow traffic and I was 50 seconds behind Roscko at the halfway point.

2nd half we were just racing off each other`s splits. I was able to match Roscko`s times for a few sectors, but just didn`t have his consistency, which was really amazing. The end gap was 59 secs.


Seeing some great names here, it would be nice to run a few sessions online maybe once a week. I can just imagine the epicness .

We could just set up a race. Who ever is interested could join, maybe run a 4 lapper, street cars on S3's

That Redbull lap looks like it has SRF on though it says its off, the smoke coming off the tyres is a SRF trait.
Amazing still though, even though i hate that thing!

Here is the thing, weekend warrior is just fine, we all respect you for that but to come in here the way you have is a joke and an insult. You are not in the same league with gtp members(not even close), your main point seems to be to make fun of serious gt5 game'rs, it's in very bad taste. Why you picked gtp to prove a false point is beyond me, take it somewhere else 👍

I came in here just fine, my attitude was a result of members like yourself with nothing useful to say, ever.

No it isn't, but it has broken down. It's a great competition, but it is lacking in structure.

100% agreed - and there will be ASAP. That's been offered to the OP and accepted.

Until that time I ask that all drivers refrain from trash talking with respect to the competition and it's competitors as it will accomplish absolutely nothing and only serve to derail the thread even further.
The point of my intervening is to fix the broken parts and that will be more difficult should the need arise to respond to unhelpful posts.
A little patience is necessary, please respect that.

If your only goal in posting in this thread is to continue harrasing the OP then I suggest you find another thread to spend your time in.

i know you might not like to, but if you have the time/ in game money, take the Isuzu 4200R out on the ring, it maxes at 525pp, its a really stable car, if you use a wheel, very smooth steering as well, also as an added bonus, you can say you took out GT5's ONLY 4 door, 4 passenger, MR engined car lol. but really, you should give it a chance, i have only seen 2 other people drive it, and if you like, we can run a few laps with it so you can see its potential, and you will need my tune for it lol, this thing is suborn with out a good tune.
