Its only 6.40 mins but recorded at 1080p, 1.2GB total plus it went right up to 100% before it told me!

Yeah, it does that, and it's quite frustrating when it happens. I've had it happen on a race video I was trying to upload. In that case, I just made it a little shorter so I could keep the resolution, but you don't have that option, so lower res is likely the best bet. The other good thing about the lower res is that it will upload faster.

I think most of the time, 720P is fine for stuff like this.
I haven't seen the lap yet so I can't coment on anything but it sounds like he did a 27.X on a dirty lap? and a clean 30.X?

I know the 27 was dirty. So it might as well be a 10 minute lap, it's about as useful.
 
I would like to point a few things out.

This is not an official competition.
I never led anyone to believe this was passable by "Official Rules" Regardless, My speed has been proven.
I Don't necessarily think I can beat Dholland, But who are any of you to tell me I can't?
I never stated to be the best. I am only good at one thing, I said this many times.
Everything I say has been true so far. What claims have I made that aren't, tell me.

You call me arrogant after all this? Are you serious? The majority of you were an embarrassment to this site. Your behavior cannot be justified in anyway whatsoever. Your all stuck on your little high horses treating people like garbage. None of you have a right to tell me how to act whatsoever. Its easy to see why comments like "thats why i left this site a year ago" make sense.

I have earned a little room to breath I think, after dealing with GTP's finest :dunce:

I'm simply holding you to the same standard that we hold all of our OLR participants to. If you don't like it, don't post in this section of the site.

You are posting in the Spot Races and Time Trials section of our site. That means your claimed lap times are going to be help to a particular standard. It got worse when it was discovered that you conveniently avoided telling everyone that your lap had 2 separate instances of 4 wheels off track.

I think its only fair if you change your fastest time to 6.30.1 as that has been verified Rosckolove until you can post a clean 6.27.

6.30 is still amazingly fast online from standing start and no draft.

Yes but this is recorded off tv with phone not capture card but the time is clearly visible.

Mine was also done with a phone camera, W910i, old walkman phone :) The time should be fine, even with my crappy camera the time was clear to see.

I turn HUD off but don't worry i turn it back on when he gets to the last long straight!

Edit: 90% done, it better work now!

No. I don't even care if the lap is valid, and it doesn't matter if you guys do either.

The video proves my speed (we all know it does) And I would like to leave it up for people to beat. If you choose to make an excuse saying the laptime isn't valid, because of off tracks that aren't time gainers, so be it. Doesn't matter to me.

We all know what lap times I am capable of now, and I would like to leave the proof of it up. I gained no time from the mistakes, So the challenge still stands. Beat the lap time, clean or slightly dirty. Either way is fine for me.

The moderators can close this thread if anything in this post breaks the AUP. And I will take a break from this headache.

Per PM from rosckolove, I see he added this to the first post.

"Laps containing time gaining off track incidents do not count."

It's your thread, so you can set the rules. I think this is going to be difficult to enforce. We normally like rules that are black and white, enforcement of this rule is going to be subjective. But that's your issue to deal with, at this point.

It's your thread, so you can set the rules. I think this is going to be difficult to enforce. We normally like rules that are black and white, enforcement of this rule is going to be subjective. But that's your issue to deal with, at this point.

None of this is that serious.. This is to find the fastest ring racers, go online, and have good races. Thats all I care about.

I don't have time for TT's and WRS and all the "professional" stuff. This got way bigger than it was suppose to.

Just run a clean 6.27 Roscko, that will clear up grey areas on your validated time . We now know you can run that quick so it's not an issue.

Anyone can argue 4 wheels off the grass cost them time, when the opposite might be true . This is very subjective, and although you are not too interested in the preciseness of this issue, you have to ask yourself what you are looking for .

Is it quick and clean racing friends .. or corner cutting cheats to race with ?

As you will attract the latter if you're not going to be clear on what's exceptable and what's not .

Your call man.

You don't get it sir. I HAVE done the lap clean, I have even run a tad faster than that. But I have no proof of either. The validity of the lap doesn't matter to me, I'm not that into this. Its obvious I am capable of a 6:27, everyone here knows it. The challenge is for people like you (Credible fast Drivers) to prove your capable of it also, get it?

If you don't want to try because of whatever reason. Thats fine, Thanks for checking it out.
 
Can we have friendly competitive driving time posted here ? When you want to post a quick time, make sure it's clean as possible and upload a video of the lap, simple, and if anyone want to beat that, upload another video.

Put the usual details, car, tire, pp, aids, etc on the video description, no need for prolonged argument or debate about what's clean or dirty, make it casual, and we can all just get along fine :D
 
In reply to you TJ, When I get a "Clean" replay I will upload it. I like clean races, thats how we race. It was a mistake but still the only replay I have proving I am capable of the time.

I probably have some other replays with some great racing through traffic, cleanly. But this is all I have to prove my pace, which in the case, is whats important for me.
