I would like to point a few things out.

This is not an official competition.
I never led anyone to believe this was passable by "Official Rules" Regardless, My speed has been proven.
I Don't necessarily think I can beat Dholland, But who are any of you to tell me I can't?
I never stated to be the best. I am only good at one thing, I said this many times.
Everything I say has been true so far. What claims have I made that aren't, tell me.

You call me arrogant after all this? Are you serious? The majority of you were an embarrassment to this site. Your behavior cannot be justified in anyway whatsoever. Your all stuck on your little high horses treating people like garbage. None of you have a right to tell me how to act whatsoever. Its easy to see why comments like "thats why i left this site a year ago" make sense.

Tell me I'm arrogant? Yea right dude. Take a look back at all of the previous posts on this topic, I think I have outclassed you guys the whole way.

I have earned a little room to breath I think, after dealing with GTP's finest :dunce:
A dirty lap doesn't mean 🤬 to anybody but noobs.

I've been racing online for 2 years now, and raced and TT'd with some of the worlds fastest.

I've been on the track with yourself and others faster, which I guess makes me the guy to tell you that you can't. ;)
You're very fast, I'd bet you could get D1 Silver if you were brave enough to really pit yourselves against these fast drivers, which is no easy feat.

But DHolland, Ti-Tech, Tony, Adam, a list of names will leave you standing with equal practice, I can promise you that.

If you want to find out, you have to face them heads up though.

There's no way I'm clicking that while I'm a work. You can't put it on youtube like a normal person?

Have any other of you guys seen this to verify? Aussie Fried Potatoes or perhaps a moderator?
It's dirty and he thinks that's the same as clean.
He doesn't understand that just because you could have went faster on tarmac, doesn't equal having the skill to complete the lap on the track in the same amount of time without going off.
Some time trial experience might clear things up for him, when he eventually realizes his dirty laps usually end up faster than clean ones, go figure.

I do not think that. Have you read anything I wrote? This is whats wrong with the GTP community, Posts like yours.

Generally on topic but irrelevant to context.

I proved I'm capable of running that lap. Thats good enough for me, as no one else can do it yet. I think thats what I have been sayng...

Oh and I have a 1v1 scheduled with one of the guys your referring to. That is "pitting myself against those guys"

👎👎👎👎 👎👎👎👎

Now you're saying the community has faults? Yeah dude, we all met in The Infield and decided to pick fun at you... :dunce:

At least we all know what to expect from you from here on out.

CSLACR, I don't play this game like you guys do, I have come out of the blue using my buddies PS3 and proved I can lay down a lap that so far, GTP's finest can't match.

I think you fail to realize that is no easy feat.

Give some credit where its due, and realize that none of this was ever as serious as your taking it.

I can run a dirty 27 with a day or two's practice. A clean 27 would take closer to a week.

You keep going on about how little you play, allow me to explain why it doesn't matter:
1. We've played less on this car/track/tire combo than you or any of your friends. By a LOT.

I find that more important than total game hours. ;)

If you disagree, I extend the challenge of racing me 1-1 in a tuning prohibited room on CS's in stock supercars, at the Ring of course. :sly:

Looking forward to racing you tonight man, looks like we're staring first and second.

Ok, You have a week then. Prove your claims?

Another race challenge, it's getting hot here :D, stock supercars on CS tire, mind if I suggest stock Cizeta V16T, Ferrari F40 or RUF CTR Yellowbird, winning in these car means more bragging rights than the usual easier to tame supercars :D These cars in real life have no traction control or any gadgetry, not even ABS - dare to replicate in GT5 ?;). It would also be better to measure one's ability to adapt and learn as most people rarely race these 2 cars on comfort tires and without ABS. The race would be epic to watch :)

Ok, You have a week then. Prove your claims?

And how would you like him to prove the claim?
By providing a replay that in any other 'competition' would be rejected for some generous off-track allowances?

In any competition I am aware of these pics from your replay would 100% disqualify the lap:
~4'48.xxx
NrburgringNordschleife.jpg

NrburgringNordschleife_1.jpg

NrburgringNordschleife_2.jpg

NrburgringNordschleife_3.jpg

NrburgringNordschleife_4.jpg

And another at ~5'08.xx
NrburgringNordschleife_5.jpg

How you think these corner cuts did not improve your laptime is unbelievable.

I do not think that. Have you read anything I wrote? This is whats wrong with the GTP community, Posts like yours.
Excuse me? Exactly what is wrong with another driver insisting that the car be on the track at all times? That is how racing works in any community.

I proved I'm capable of running that lap. Thats good enough for me, as no one else can do it yet. I think thats what I have been sayng...
No you haven't - not cleanly anyway. It may be good enough for you, but you seem to think that only the clock matters and the track boundaries do not.

rosckolove
Laps containing time gaining off track incidents do not count.
You modified your OP to include this rule.
According to that rule your lap does not count as by my estimate you gained a minimum of 2 tenths (and I'm being very generous as it most likely benefitted you more).
Additionally, I doubt any other driver is attempting to get around the lap with 'allowable' off track excursions. The car is either on track or it is not.

And yes, I agree with CSLACR - and I'm sure a lot of other drivers here that your stubbornness and arrogance is astounding.
You create a competition / event and expect everyone to be on a fair level, but you do not hold yourself to the same standards.
So far I have seen no proof that you can complete a 6'27.xx lap. I see the potential, and I do beliveve you can do it, but from what I have seen in the replay you have not accomplished that feat yet in a manner that would be considered acceptable in the spirit of a competition.

Should you choose to continue this competition (and / or start another) I highly suggest that you spend a little more time making the rules Crystal Clear in order to prevent the thread descending into never ending pages of arguments and a generally hostile tone.
If you are not capable of determining the rules for this event and their subsequent implimentation then I invite you to PM me with your concerns / questions and I will personally assist you in organizing a proper event with a standarized set of rules in order to prevent any MODs being put to the task of reading through pages of posts to try and figure out exactly what is going on and susequently posting a huge reply like this one.

I would much rather assist in the creation of a proper and fair competition than spend an afternoon cleaning one up.
The choice is yours - This 'competition' will not continue for very long if changes are not made soon.

I'll focus on the competition later, after i get these races done and find the time. Like I said. As long as my ability was proven thats all i care about, as this only started as a simple claimed time that was impossible. Now its possible, I'm happy.

I will take you up on your generous offer, after the races tonight.

This thread is already worthless!

Yes you are fast in one car, on one track at one PP level, that is far from a "master"

Do you think Lewis Hamilton and co will cut corners in tomorrows F1 race? No! And why, because it would decend into a farce.

Until you cut it with GTPlanets finest fairly this is just a Mickey Mouse
thread!

There has to be rules, everybody else has to stick to them!

And by the way Mike_gt3 has already beaten you, he did a 27 on track without cutting!

No it isn't, but it has broken down. It's a great competition, but it is lacking in structure.

100% agreed - and there will be ASAP. That's been offered to the OP and accepted.

Until that time I ask that all drivers refrain from trash talking with respect to the competition and it's competitors as it will accomplish absolutely nothing and only serve to derail the thread even further.
The point of my intervening is to fix the broken parts and that will be more difficult should the need arise to respond to unhelpful posts.
A little patience is necessary, please respect that.

I thought it was agreed online was multiple seconds slower? Even if its not, The physics are different, and it can't be compared.

I listed multiple cars in the OP at multiple PP's. Just slash a second off all of them for assumed track cutting, I'm ok with that. I'll revamp the OP when i'm not busy.

In my view all of the times would need to be re done . Especially if they have included this giant shortcut.

Hydro will fix all these issues however. He's a top bloke 👍

Don't insult our intelligence. 👎 Accident my ass.

And don't attempt to carry on the conversation like this ^^^
The bolded part below applies to everyone:

I posted the pics so that there was complete transparency regarding the claimed lap as no replay was made available except via download. It was not intended to further promote confrontational posts.
In watching the replay it did not look at all like he intentionally cut the corners, rather he went a bit wide and when the car straightened out the line it was on required the car to go off track.

He was using apple maps.

Kudos to Hydro for stepping in with a helpful attitude. God knows this discussion needed it.

To Roscko though, you have proven to me and anyone interested that your claimed times are indeed possible.

You know you're fast, and you and your friends will continue to have fun at the ring. Pay no mind, ignore the posts you choose to, and take from this thread what you want.

To everyone else I would like to quote a great man;

'All drivers go to their limit, my limit is different from his*, that is the reality. And instead of trying to improve his own skills, he found it easier to attack me'.

Step away from your computers and mobile devices, turn on your PS3 and go do some laps. If you can even come CLOSE to this man, then kudos to you as well.

EDK
Dirty is dirty. Surely a registry member such as yourself realizes that. As soon as he goes around the forums calling out times, it needs to be a clean lap. Otherwise, what standard do we have?

I agree. There is a big * next to the 6'27, especially now seeing how far off track the offs are.
I take my GTP_ registry membership seriously, and the only reason I had the sympathetic attitude before was becuase the lap was done before he knew it was to be scrutinized.
I would hope Roscko is endeavouring to run a clean 6'27 now that we are all watching.

I'll definitely be keeping my eye on it, as my GT5 days wind down I fully intend to finish the game with 1000 laps at the Ring in just about everything. :D
Just like GT4.

Rosckolove, any chance you can post your tune mate?

I would be interested to try it out 👍

Ridox2JZGTE
Rosckolove won the JSTC 400 endurance race at Nordschleife posting a pretty good fastest lap during the race 6:37.xxx, beating some fast drivers as well, from the WRS :D He was driving a Celica, and I think he's got the goods.

The result link :

JSTC400 (GT300) @ Nordschleife! Nov 3, 7PM EDT, 11PM GMT Result

Almost a minute gap to the second place, great job Rosckolove 👍

Well done Rosckolove!

The Celica is the best GT300 car imo.

Any chance someone can put the 6.27 CSL lap up in Youtube or something we can view here?
