Yup, it's the fence's shadow + dirt and grass.
Your's looks almost real. If you mess with some lighting, awesomeness would be born.

I chose this pic as a friend of the family who isn't a gamer (nor has much knowledge of video games) thought this was a photo I actually took. Possible proof that a well taken pic can fool the average person I think

If I didn't know this was from a videogame, it might fool me for about 30 seconds, too.
