If the person doing the live stream was host AND not competing, as I've already mentioned, they could theoretically kick non-racers/non-affiliates to the series out.

He would just sit there and live stream the racing but we would have to pick the right time for him because he live streams the nationwide race and races in the Sprint race

And doesn't it cost money to live stream? I mean someone may want to, but most of this stuff is free (except the ps3 and gt5, but chances are that if your here you have that covered...) and for someone to pay money for this would be excellent but I don't think we really should force the issue too much. (I'm not saying no, actually someone said they would on a previous thread for this) but I think that we should worry about the racing rather than the extras. That being said maybe that would be a good job for James? He could be in charge of the extra stuff!

If you can find a way to do it w/out causing connection problems then you can do it. I guess some people would watch us play gt5. Could we have virtual commercials and sponsers as well?

We could probably have little things when we have cautions like if there is a driver selling or looking to buy a car we could work out a deal with other series or races that are on like fridays or Sundays

Why dont you just upload the replay and add commentary on youtube? You guys all know how long it takes just to start a race. I doubt anyone would want to tune in and then sit there for a half hour before we get the race going.

At least with the replay we can focus on all the highlights. But there would have to he someone willing to edit everything and put it all together.

I think its a good idea though. It would get good publicity for the series and GTP. Hopefully even attract some new drivers.

From my little stint of uploading the last few laps after ive d/ced from the races, you can put ads on your videos and they'll pay you. Granted I believe you have to have it hooked up to a credit card... Which we could get a purpose credit card for those things and save money and have a few prizes....

So I've seen, but I'm not old enough to get a credit card (but if I could....) so we'd need one of our older members... *if you get the playstation credit card, your first purchase you get a 50 dollar psn code!* but that's asking quite a lot!

There are tons of ways to get free PSN cards. We just need someone to sit down and do those surveys where you get points and redeem them.

I works. I did it once when I used to own an xbox and wanted live gold. Just set up a fake email account for all the spam to go to. Takes a while to accumulate though. Unless we can make that account public to everyone here. Then everyone can contribute to make it go by faster.

I was going to do highlights of races (using replays) early in the series for the GT5rolexseries YouTube account, but it wasn't until now that Rolex has kicked off like it has, so I didn't bother. We would need a set of guidelines for a full course yellow though. Every time someone runs off doesn't make a full course yellow. I would say if someone goes in a sand pit and stops and sits for a while like in real life could make one necessary. A single car incident where the car receives massive mechanical damage, and definitely a multi-car incident.

If we had a full course yellow process then we would need rules for yellow flag stops, wave arounds, and restart lineup rules. All of which can be done. Moving to timed races would make this more practical.

Yep! I have a study hall tomorrow, and I have some time to kill after school, so I can start work on some guidelines.

I'll start now

Two cars are needed to have a full course yellow

In the case of a full course yellow, leaders will wait at the start finish line, and their respective classes will line up behind them there.

The DP cars will go first, followed by the gt cars for a lap at formation lap speed (60mph) and both classes will put this lap.

When exiting the pits, cars will line up in the way they leave. DP cars first. Cars will restart at the end of this lap. GT cars should give the DP cars a 10 second gap going onto the front straight.

This is just a start, well work in wave arounds soon!

It would be cool to have a pace car driver lol. The pace car is in the game. It would be something that anyone could do. It would be like watching paint dry, but it would make cautions a lot easier.
