Not in my lounge there wasn't. I didn't ask about a race. I asked what times people were setting at Suzuka.

So, we had a misunderstanding. Let's leave it at that. But, my point was "I didn't race there, and I didn't qualify there. I have no idea about lap times there." Sorry for the confusion.

Missed the race today cus it was my kids b-day. So we went to eat. I left the lounge open so people could join. I didn't get the friend requests until a little bit after they were sent. I was busy getting my kid ready. What was everyone's times at Suzuka? I hit the 1:51's at first, was headed for a 1:50 or a 1:49 but Storm was in my way on my hot lap and it got ruined. That caused me to lose about 4 seconds, but it ended up being a 1:53. With the GT's I was in the 2:03s on the first lap with the R8 and the Camaro. No special setup just tinkering with it. The Audi I didn't even have it fully tuned, so I know it can be a good bit faster. 2:01's I think are possible.

I did a 2:01 in my first lap out with the Audi. Now I think 2:00s/1:59s are possible, but I wasn't trying my best in Suzuka/Monza because not a lot of people were there (means no motivation to be quick, just see how the tires last) and it was HOT.

Rolex Sports Car Series drivers Damuemogirl and Markus Weiss have finalized their entry into the second season. The drivers look to push for the Drivers' and Teams' Championships.

You have done a good job in preseason, winning many races. Do you see this as momentum?

Yes. Certainly, a lot of it is luck, and the other teams are bringing the competition way up, but a small portion of it is a mix of talented team members, a good car, and a great pit crew.

You and your teammate are already having different viewpoints towards the RX-8's specs and tuning. Do you feel that your teammate is hurting his chances with the extra weight he's choosing to run?

It's his decision. I don't believe in team orders, or telling my teammate what to do. He will get help if he asks for it, but I trust Damu and I believe that he knows what's best for himself.

Last season was a stunning performance from Audi. You know best, having been on that team. Do you feel that any manufacturer has a chance to gain the Rolex title this season?

All of the teams have that chance still. The Vipers are incredible on tires. The Audi's seem consistent. The Camaros have a dedicated team structure unlike any other team. But, I think Mazda's in with the best possible chances. Two talented drivers, and a great car should spell trouble for the other teams.

Speedsource Mazda is looking forward to the first round of the season, at Daytona, and seeing a big opportunity to start on the right foot.

"You haven't mentioned the Ferrari's yet, what's your stance on Ferrari for this season?"

"Do you believe that the tire wear on your car will affect your chances of winning?"

"You sometimes said your car handles like 'a pig,' yet you've managed to be the most consistent front-runner, does the straightline speed of your car give you an advantage in lap times/race?"

"Now, based on pre-season, do you believe you can win the championship?"

The Ferrari has had a lacklustre performance; not due to it, or its drivers, but because EliteDreamer has yet to find a worthy teammate. When he does, though, those Ferraris could be quick.

I'm opening a tuning garage and speed shop now. I believe that my practice with tuning setups from that will help, and that tire wear and consistency can only improve over the course of a season.

"You sometimes said your car handles like 'a pig,' yet you've managed to be the most consistent front-runner, does the straightline speed of your car give you an advantage in lap times/race?"

I'm not exactly a bad driver, but, my relationship with the car is love/hate. From time to time, she'll reward me with the best of feelings, and the best of laps, but, from time to time, she'll leave me struggling to get to a finish line, because of the tire wear.

"Now, based on pre-season, do you believe you can win the championship?"

There's one thing that pre-season has taught me. The RX-8 doesn't respond well to contact, at all, and my only chance at winning the championship will be from a drama-free, contact-free season of consistent driving. I've spun too many times ALREADY due to contact with other drivers, and I'm already disappointed in my contact and conduct regarding that.

At Tokyo my Mazda was 475/1200. I was trying to test the car, but after my health deteriorated, I have no idea which specs did what at Daytona.

Update: After testing at Daytona, all I can say is 🤬 this 🤬

Sister is hogging MY PS3. Wouldn't mind, the ****er's only 5! I kid, I kid, I let her play it. I'm a nice brother really. :D

Right so It's clear to everyone, I'ma write this in big massive letters, because I've only gotten one person's feedback on this:

IS EVERYONE OK WITH STARTING THE RACE HALF AN HOUR LATER (7:30pm GMT +5 / 00:30am GMT) ON SATURDAY!?

Its Sale time at our store on Saturday and I'll be out of work at midnight GMT time. That half hour gives me a chance to get in from work, get on GT5, grab some food and get ready to race. It may not even be as long as that, and I DON'T MIND STARTING LAST!!!! Just as long as I get given half an hour. I REEEEEEAAALLY don't want to miss the race.

Like I said before, I am completely fine with waiting another half an hour. The ITCC will most likely run late anyway.

All you need is a good restart to gain 5 positions. :D

Anyone have a prediction on cautions this weekend? I am going to say 4. Two clusters of two cautions.
