Make it a rule that the leaders of each class slow down upon passing the start/finish line next time around.

I will defiantly be back. I know what parts of the car need improvement and that is like the 4th or 5th time ive raced at daytona.

I would prefer race leaders slow down where they are on the track. Let everyone catch up and then pit if you need to. Instead of everyone in GT go hunt down the DP leader.

Couple of things I learned tonight. Dont switch to hards and I think the Mazda's are going to be just fine.

I think if they just slow way down we should be good.

I also think the Mazdas should be just dandy :)

Points spread sheet up tomorrow! (Hopefully)

Good race guys. I'm sorry about anyone that I screwed because my connection was acting really strange. I started the race seeing 13 people, but by the end of the race, I only saw 11 people. The caution was my saving grace. Ant was super quick. I literally pushed all out the entire race.

The caution caused because your connection issues rammed me and lout :grumpy:

Well, as I said in the lobby that was definitely a race I'd like to forget pretty quickly. Pretty much full of errors from myself, cnd's lag wiping me out a couple times and not being able to get the car close enough to the leading pace. Oh well, there's always next time!

Congrats cnd. I know how bad you wanted it.

Major shout out to the guys who punted me or ran me off the track.

Oh, now I know why you typed the "cnd goes to the back for causing the crash message during the race" 👎 I know I saw both of you at different points in the race, but by the end, I only saw 11 people. I know there were other people joining and leaving the room at various points of the race. That might have something to do with it.

I am more than sorry for that. I usually don't have problems seeing anyone on track. My sister decided it would be cute to hop on the Internet when I told her I had a race. That's what caused the lag fest under caution. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the caution coming out or not because I couldn't see Lout or Damu at that point of the race.

@Ant: Thanks man. You ran a great race too.

@Shin: I really appreciate it.

That's ok, I nearly missed it too eLove. Spent an hour watching Match of the Day because I forgot that USA didn't put their clocks back last week unlike here in the UK.

Had to start on the back row, but I came 2nd in GT after much much difficulty and car trouble. I'm so surprised that the cars are actually pretty even. I was hard pushed to run 1:48's in the Lotus when I practiced, and I think everyone was struggling for 1:49's in the race. Not my best race by any stretch, full of mistakes.

Spectacular F1 race!!

Yes! Yes it ******* was!!!!

When I took a stop for mediums I was pushing 48s to catch up, somehow damu and sail were there. Did they pit?

Figures.

Well, I made the same exact mistake I did back in season 2. Went for hards. Learning experience for me, I hoped they would give me the Fuji effect back in season 2 where I could outlast the soft tires and then bounce back with better wear and pace.

All in all, with everything that went on in that race, we all made mistakes and gained from other's mistakes, so in an ideal world, I doubt the positions would have been any different. I improved on my mistakes early on, you made quick pace in the beginning and end of the race, while you had a strategy mistake in the middle followed by an uncalled incident. FH just ran a near-faultless race throughout, though took on WAYYYY too much fuel when he pitted on his first stint. The rest were quick actually, but maybe consistency lacked a fair bit.
