The 'September speculation' discussion thread? (No car suggestions)

I'm really sure there won't be an update this month. Maybe they are working on a big update for the game's first anniversary in mid October. Hopefully we will get rain. GT:S needs some new features. Cars are nice but I have to grind at Blue Moon Bay anyway, so it doesn't hype me instantly.

Dude there's an update on Wednesday!

Now there's something to build false hopes for. Maybe we get GT 2.0 update with bells and whistles. Maybe in October we get the first update in 3 months with 12 cars and a La Croix circuit experience and a self congratulatory message from PD on how well they've done...

I would like to have the One Make setup for lobby races;
One Make races are fun and good for driver focused racing.
When this activated, no driver could change car, so, you wouldn't need to kick a 'friend' from the room!
This option could be both on while creating a room, and could be found right after a race is completed in the room.
I hope some developers would consider this...

How about adding a more than 180° turning steering wheel animation? During drifts in cockpit view it seems a bit odd. And after AC it is even more odd.

It must be hard for PD to implement 1:1 turning wheel animation so they settled for 180° which is fine,it's a better than Forza's solution(which bothers me alot),my list of games that did it the best is:
1.Driver San Francisco,It's so smooth, the hands move in a believable way and not like someone on cocaine(changing animations too fast)
2.Asseto Corsa
3.GTS
4.Project Cars
5.Forza

I feel like there needs to be more race car classes. 5 classes and one catch all for anything that doesn't fit into the other classes nicely isn't going to be enough for the supposed 500 cars Kaz wants to add. The N classes are fine but they probably should add a Kei class for the kei cars and Fiat 500 (and hopefully a classic Mini in the future)

The N classes are far from fine as they're solely based on power and there are very large performance discrepancies between cars within the N classes as a result.

Is there a cap, per race, of how many of one manufacturer, can join an FIA race?

As of now:

Gr.4
2 Renault

Gr. 3
2 Ford
3 BMW
2 Toyota
2 AMG
2 Lexus
2 VW
2 Peugeot

PD need to even things up in Gr. 3.
Also, add a second car, to each manufacturer in Gr. 4.

If a PD representative just happens to be reading this, please, please, program a Custom Race "Race Settings" Save & Favourites feature.

I'd like to jump in my 10 minute Mini One Make, without having to set the race every time. I'm buying a new Mini, doing a new livery and then racing it. Would be nice to click "Favourites" and get going.

They will probably drop an update and surprise us all like PD did last month.

Its likely that this month, there will be a fictional track. I highly doubt real world tracks will arrive this month (unless they bring out Spa and everyone can then relax lol)

Theres no doubt that there will be circuit experience for the RB Ring and more GT League events. Some more GT car museums would be a bonus.

To make the Mileage Exchange more interesting, I reckon PD should add a car horns section and the abilty to use horns (controller wise). They really need to add more decals too.

Since car suggestions isnt allowed, I would still love to see Lotus cars come back fully licensed too.

They will drop an update in the end of the month .
The cars will all be GT6 remastered models, so nothing new to the franchise lol

One thing is for sure I gave up grinding blue-moon, it's getting really boring, may the gods of the daily workout roulette gift me a 20 million cr car so I can complete the GT-League :gtpflag::gtpflag:👍

I'd guess, without teasers like St Croix, it's going to be a "legacy" Circuit.

Lead with Grand Valley? I don't know. Mid-field? Trial Mountain? Deep Forrest? Autumn Ring? High Speed Ring?

Doubt it. December is the 21st anniversary of the original Gran Turismo launch in Japan. They'd keep any of those original tracks for then. Maybe.

Mileage Exchange is dead yet has so much potential for cosmetic updates. Interior, exterior, race parts, decals, race banners, window sponsors, tinted windows. All manner of things.

Such an under utilised feature.

More tracks, the game needs more tracks. Other than that and a couple of cars(that I won't go in detail to), I don't know what else PD can add to the game through DLC that will make it better.

New race modes:

Teams
Red and Blue, split the field in 2 and you arbitrarily get a colour before the race. Worked fine in DriveClub.

Destruction Derby
A mode with no penalties and damage on to attract all the rammers away from daily races. Perhaps it could be like lobby races and not count, or a separate DD score could be given for damage caused and keep it seperate from SR and DR ratings.
