The 'September speculation' discussion thread? (No car suggestions)

One of the things that fascinates me the most about this game are those fictitious race cars that give sports value to the brands, to compete in the manufacturer series ... My goal would be 32 brands, currently we have 25, so they are missing 7: these are my proposals

Volvo : Gr3 and Gr4
Fittipaldy with Gr3 and Gr4
Bentley Gr3 and Gr4
Lotus Gr3 and Gr4
Tesla Gr3 and Gr4
Bugatti Gr3 and Gr4
Pagani Gr3 and Gr4

16 manufacturers in the final, 16 out

There's nothing too terrible about the Mileage exchange shop in concept. However if you're selling the same crap since day one then people dont have enough items to spend their quickly accumulating points on.

I think the mileage store could be updated so you could buy racing item thing like numberplates and windshield banners, maybe new or alternative tire sidewalls. Of course it wouldn't completely solve the problem of having nothing to buy with mileage points after you've bought them but whatever I just want new windshield banners :(

I know this is going to sound weird, but I don't think the Mileage Exchange is the new GT Auto or any of the manufacturer tuning shops. It doesn't make sense to put tuning parts in a weekly refreshing store. Highly doubt we'd see it return in GT7 as well, there's no point. It overlaps with the other outlets too much.
ME is almost like ebay. I wouldn't put it in the same vein as used Car Dealership(UCD). Reason being, I believe new items(poses) were added.

This, why when you want to start arcade mode there is always this the same 8 cars which you can't replace but you have to go to the garage ? This 8 places would be great to choose from your favourite cars.

Weird fact: Vanilla version of GT:S (1.0) has more than these 8 cars. I recently noticed it cause I installed it on another PS4. Update wasn't ready but there were twice the cars. There were even LMP1 cars.

Since PD LOVES giving us cars that only Bill Gates can afford each update, i speculate that we will get the Alfa Romeo GUILIA TZ2 Carrozata da ZAGATO '65 or the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto CN.2521 '61

Buy a Shelby Daytona and spend 99999 upgrading it

I actually wouldn't mind seeing those come back especially the Alfa.

I bet if they brought back the Ferrari GTO the price for the car will inflate as well.

C'mon Polyphony please update the car selection in Arcade Mode like where all the cars in the game are available as courtesy cars, but with a few setbacks such as the following:
  • Only default colors/liveries that came with the car
  • Only tire selection and driver aids can be changed
  • These cars cannot have their power and weight upgraded with Mileage points
  • These cars cannot have their set-ups tuned in any way
  • Customization such as liveries and custom wheels are not available for these cars
This way, the purpose to buy cars and/or use Garage cars are not defeated. This way players can drive anything out of almost everything in order to:
Also, any future cars should also be available by default in Arcade Mode when they're out.
  • Experiment with other cars for practice
  • To try them out before buying them
  • Or simply to have fun
As mentioned earlier it should also still be possible to use your Garage cars.

This will make GT Sport even more fun even then when the game reaches over 500+ cars and with a massive number of tracks, and maybe even more surprises.

My top 4 requests;

1) New A.I difficulty for custom/single race.

2) Some more ovals and all round fast(er) circuits to take advantage of the f1 car, Vision GT, Prototypes etc...

3) More imaginative paint schemes, stickers, and new items such as helmet, car, overall design templates, to spend mileage points on.

4) Increase the credits for race wins so the 20,000,000 credit car(s) are attainable for most players without the stuff some have resorted to out of frustration.

I speculate Fuji is coming in this update.
I'd love this, but I believe it's Original Track time. That's if there's an update and if things hold true to the alternating real/original track DLC.

I just now noticed the write ups of the tracklist. When it gets to Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak is referenced. The billion dollar question is: Why didn't they include it at launch?

They might start adding some Alfa Romeo, i find it baffling we only have the 4C. I bet they're also going to add the 8C since it's also a premium car (and maybe they make gr.4 and gr.3 variants)

Same thing with Bugatti, Chaparral, Citroen, Hyundai, Infiniti and Peugeot. Fittipaldi hasn't had anything new added to their ranks because, well, the EF7 is probably the only thing they have.

Fittipaldi Motors also raced in F1 back in the 70s so they could add one of Emerson's old Copersucar cars. They won't, but they could.

I think we're forgetting Zagato as well. They could use some new cars as well. Even if it's related to other car manufacturers, they can pull a BMW where PD put the F1 GTR Longtail in the BMW manufacturer.

Maybe it's just me, but I have no interest in grinding constantly to buy slow, albeit classic, cars from the 60s etc...

I want to race fast cars, exotic cars, stuff that require quick reflexes and concentration to control.

Not some lumbering tin can that takes 5 minutes to get going and 5 minutes to stop, turns like an oil tanker, and has brakes made of newspaper.

I want cars that take off like scolded cats with their tails on fire, that are hitting 100 mph in 4 seconds, that corner like they are on rails, and stop so fast your heart hits your collar bone and pops out your mouth.

Things that look like horizontal rockets with wheels.

That scream blue murder and squirm like a fish on the dockside.

I am, of course, being melodramatic.

And yes, there is always room for the slower, less refined cars or stuff from a bygone age.

But to me, the 20,000,000 credit cars should be things like the Tomahawk or the Merc f1...you know, the cars at absolute pinnacle of motorsport, or the imagination of manufacturers at any rate?

TL:DR less slow, heavy, awkward to drive old classics and more exciting, dynamic open wheelers, GT beasts, and exaggerated Vision concepts...please.

By 1 year playing almost in reach, would you double the amount of Gr. 4 and Gr. 3 cars on GTS, PD? Or you rather making new Gran Turismo?
