Great fun practice last night. Over the course of the evening, 9 racers joined to put their times in. I have been through the 10 replays, and gathered the times to put on the table. Veloci's time was very impressive, and in clean air.

Monza is a fast circuit, with lots of straight line speed. We ran a couple of races with the slipstream set to real, rather than weak last night. Tonights practice will see us do the same, and a decision on what we will use will be made depending on whatever gives us closer racing.

On the subject of slip streaming, bump drafting will not be permitted. Whilst this practice can be good for catching up, and getting great lap times, it is also risky.

The live stream seemed to work very well, although there did seem to be a delay of about 60 seconds. Tonights practice will be streamed using another service to see if there is any difference to the delay. In the tests I ran yesterday, JustinTV seemed to show my broadcast earlier then TwitchTV, even though they are the same company.

The lobby will be open from 8.00pm tonight.

I know I don't know much about racing, but what is bump drafting?

Hey guys, I had a really enjoyable practice session last night. Was pleased with my relative competitiveness, and had a cracking few final races resulting in some unexpected wins (well after some of the other big hitters had left, but was still some quality drivers remaining!)

I doubt I will be able to make practice tonight, but if I get chance I will try and tune in and watch for a while!

I tried both of the links for the live stream. Neither worked for me. Twitch came up with a screenshot of the game but nothing else happened, an hourglass on the right but despite leaving it for many minutes the stream didn't start. Justin TV tried to tell me I had a virus on my Android phone so I wasn't going to go further - but even that looked to be a blank screen.

The 60 delay is pretty much forced, there is nothing you can do about it I'm afraid. I believe there is a difference if you are a Twitch partner where it is like 20 or 30 seconds but that's the best you can do.

Great practice tonight saw some new times added, and a new pace setter. The banter was awesome in the lobby, as usual, and the racing was just as good. This race will see us using slip stream set to real, and tomorrows practice will include some pit stop races. Lobby will be open from 8.00pm. Unfortunately my capture device didnt want to play ball tonight, so there was no live stream.

Practice lobby will be open from 8.00pm tonight. During this evenings runs, we will try some pit stop practice. For these the lap count will be set to 5 laps, and everyone must pit and change tyres. This is so we can see if there are any bugs to watch out for during next Sundays race. Also, its looking like my capture card is up and running again, so tonights practice will be streamed live again. You can tune in by clicking the image below, from around 8.30 pm tonight.

Have not touched car since last race, missed all weeks practice through work, first time I've been sober this weekend! So bear with me dudes.

Be on in a bit.

Great practice with 11 racers tonight. We ran some races using a pit stop, and did experience a bit of lag during the pit stops. This could have been the result of a busy pit lane. Results of any new times will be posted tomorrow.

Couldn't get through the last chicane AT ALL. Be back on when I've done the testing first. Got in the way there more than anything.

Don't think I posted a time. Or please don't post it.

Nice busy practice session saw 11 racers on track, to try and better their times, and practice a few pit stop races. We ran 3 pit stop races, one with 6 laps, one with 5, and 1 with 4. In each race everyone successfully pitted and managed a tyre change, however due to the length of the races, the pit lane was very busy, and some positions were lost due to traffic. We also saw a bit of lag during the stops. I dont think that this will affect us on race day, as by the time drivers make their stops, the field will be more spread out.

This brings me onto the lap count for Sundays race at Monza.

So onto last nights times. Thanks to JAMMY_REX and CANARYWOOLF for providing me with photos of new fastest times set after I left the lobby last night. From now on, all new times are now going to be listed in green text, and the fastest to date will be purple.

I will try to get on for a few more laps before the weekend, and will post in here if I am going to open a lobby.

Nice work on the sun visors Paul, say thanks to Damon. I have emailed him the PNG file for the logo with a transparent background.

I was hoping to be online tonight, but after a sudden mechanical failure in my rig last night, I had some repairs to carry out. After all the miles ive done in GTP, GT5 and GT6 my pedals failed during practice for the 500pp club race. The throttle was stuck fully on. Fortunately I had a spare DFGT at a mates, which I got back, and put the new pedals on tonight. It took a little while, as the pedals are built into my rig, so I had some dismantling and re assembly to do.

I will be returning to the track tomorrow from 8.30pm, if anyone wants any extra laps before the weekend.

Good few short races last night. Goodwolf added his time to the table, and his entry completes the driver line up for Sunday. If everyone on the below list turns up, we will have a full grid again. It was mentioned that the track did seem slightly slower, after the recent update. It certainly felt that way, but by the end of the evening both Weescotman and Theewar were setting mid 05s. Practice will resume tonight from 8.00pm.

This may be a bit short notice but I won't be able to attend the race on sunday. I won't be home until well after the race has finished. So good luck to you all in the race, don't leave me too far behind 👍

EDIT: Its mainly to do with Paddy's day, which is being celebrated on Sunday over here. Which I thought was weird until I was told it's just in my county as the local hurling team made some All-Ireland final or something which is always held on Paddy's day hence the reason for the actual Paddy's day parade and shenanigans being held a day early. Really stupid but anyway have fun guys, I'll be back racing soon after.

Another busy evening on the grid at Monza, with 11 drivers trying to improve their times at Monza. Overall 6 new PBs, including SokaGT trimming an extra 1/100th of his previous time, and Theewar with a tenth to take him into 3rd position. Tonight will be the last chance to make any improvements before tomorrows race. The lobby will be open from 8.00pm tonight.

Thought I managed a 2:06:6xx. Must have been highly illegal, going across green mats I suspect.

Or I was dreaming.

I've never known the Ascari chicane, well the curb on the right to be so slippery? Am I to infer that you're all staying well clear of it? Or have you done anything in setup to counter it?
I've played with LSD a bit, rest of the track I'm pretty planted but it's a toss of a coin if I get to Parabolica without the loss of about three places or get through at all.

That's why I was sat in a room on my own for 2 hours before last night. Thought I'd nailed it but pffft!

See you tonight guys, another epic race awaits tomorrow.

Final practice saw 10 turn in for times. Jammyrex showed some great pace and slammed into the 05s. The midfield times are close with Sholesy and GC Gary well into the 06s. SokaGT remains the pace setter. GTP_Alexi (@imalexi ) also joined us for a few races later in the evening, clocking a 2:08.350. There is a space on the grid tonight, so he is welcome to join us for the race.

Had to take missus to Pompey on a gals night out (now THAT would have been a cackle fest!) so late in room.

Then I forgot I was getting a massive late night Tesco delivery. Subwoofer and earpiece in, didn't hear him for ages I think, had all goods at door. He laughed when I told him.

That's more like it though, glad I managed to get a time close to what I was posting on my own earlier in the day before going.

Did spin a few times last night, but mostly down to 1st lap eagerness or cold tyres (got the car feeling lovely now once warm).

Just have to remember to adopt the 'stay cool' mantra tonight.

I've already written out my TV's pit board: BOX LAP XX lol

OH! What's the true minimum laps Ade 7 or 9?

That was disappointing. After all that fuss, my connection went haywire and cars were jumping about, so I decided to pull off and reset everything. I was hoping since it was on the first lap that the race would be restarted and I could race, but that wasnt the case. Oh well.

FYI, the next car is going to be fun. And by fun I mean a wonderfully monstrous ride between grip and AHHHHH!!! The powerband is set up in this V8 sto where anyone running an auto gearbox will be at an extreme disadvantage. Current estimates are 2:08s as I ran a 2:09 on my first timed lap and was too scared to try to take any more time off by going around again.
